These are knowledge. Because there is no sign of knowing it as such, and there is no knowledge that the method of establishing the validity of knowing the hidden is this, therefore no one earnestly practices that method, so there is no establishment of validity. This is what some non-Buddhists, such as kings, say. Secondly, in order to establish the Teacher, the Bhagavan, as valid, it is not that both of those are absent. What is the reason? Like this, beings tormented by the suffering of samsara, for the most desired method of pacifying suffering, previously do not know themselves, and even if others teach, they doubt whether that method is correct. Therefore, those with doubts, those with discrimination, in order to earnestly practice the method taught by the Teacher as essential, first seek someone who possesses the knowledge of the method of permanently pacifying suffering, just as one seeks a skilled doctor when afflicted by illness. Therefore, because they desire the method of pacifying suffering, which is the main object of desire, they seek someone who knows the method. Therefore, the discriminating one should analyze whether or not the method, which is actually to be sought or established, possesses such wisdom. Knowing the number of worms in the body, etc., by this Teacher, is not something to be analyzed, because it is not at all necessary for us who desire liberation as a method for that. Therefore, when analyzing one's own desired object, the Truth of Cessation, which is to be accepted, and the Truth of Suffering, which is to be abandoned, are shown as what should be attained and known. The way to practice the method and path of manifesting what should be accepted, and the way to abandon the Truth of Suffering, which should be abandoned, is also shown as the way to abandon the Truth of Origin. Therefore, whichever Teacher knows or understands the acceptance and abandonment along with their methods, and also makes others understand, that Teacher is considered valid. It is not established that someone who knows all the unnecessary number of worms, etc., is valid. Therefore, whichever person sees far away, or does not see, as long as they see the suchness that they want to pursue, that is enough to consider that Teacher as valid. If merely seeing far away is a valid person, then, O you who desire liberation,

Yogis and others, please return, abandon the wise who teach the Four Noble Truths, and rely on the far-seeing vulture, the far-hearing wild boar, and the dakinis who know the minds of others, etc., and your purpose will be accomplished. This is a response to unreasonable speech. Relying solely on far-seeing, etc., is of no help in seeking liberation, because establishing the reliability of the teacher does not require such things. Therefore, the ability to reveal the Four Noble Truths without error through the power of reality alone establishes the teacher's reliability. Arguing in the conventional way is the cause for establishing reliability, while demonstrating in the reverse way is also a sign for knowing whether something is reliable. Once this is established, it can be inferred that he knows countless hidden things, because there is proof and no contradiction, so it can also be established that he knows all things. However, it is not necessary to prove that he is omniscient by listing each hidden thing, such as the number of insects, and pointing out, "He knows this." Even if the teacher knows, no one can grasp so much, and there is no need to grasp it, so it should not be grasped. It is not that there is no proof of omniscience, but it will be explained how he diligently cultivated the method of abandoning the two obscurations with great compassion, reaching the ultimate extreme. Second, demonstrating the valid proof: Thinking, etc., are explained lawfully in the conventional way. Saving, etc., are explained as cognition in the reverse way. The first part includes: the perfection of cause and effect. The first part includes: separate demonstration and conclusion. The first part includes: the perfection of intention, explaining the intention of benefit. The perfection of application, explaining the teacher. The first part includes: the main text and the refutation of it. The first part: What is the proof that the Bhagavan has become a reliable person? The proof is that great compassion has been repeatedly cultivated in many lifetimes and has finally reached perfection, and that is its essence. So, what is great compassion? The answer is, without regard for others, equally wishing all sentient beings to be free from suffering, which is a nature without hatred. Like this, repeatedly cultivating and reaching the ultimate perfection, it will irreversibly transform into the essence of that wisdom. Second part: Habituation does not
