If it is necessary to rely on objects, then for the same object, there would be no different appearances for each. Without an object, clear appearance is also impossible. From a tiny object, various world arrangements of sentient beings appear, as well as dream appearances, and short periods of time appearing long, etc., all of these would completely disappear. Here, in the explanation of Shakya-buddhi, it says: "The so-called some consciousnesses refer to any entering consciousness. The so-called inner habit refers to the power existing in the alaya consciousness. The so-called causing to awaken refers to the unobstructed production of the power to produce special consciousness." So it is said. Third, like this, when objects become different, if, like seeing those arrangements of objects that have already existed, it is established by experiencing external objects in the object, then how can one say that it does not exist? When different objects, similar to seeing any arrangement of the boundless realms of space, when the habits of object appearance that exist in it are in accordance with those habits, then one experiences such different appearances. Because the habits of such object appearance are awakened, it is like the appearance of traveling through many different objects in a dream. Even so, appearance cannot establish external objects, because the mind itself appears in two ways. That is, without relying on external objects, merely the awakening of inner habits will manifest various appearances, therefore, even for the single mind, there are two ways of appearing as the object to be grasped and appearing as the grasping mind. For what reason? Because in the two ways of grasping and being grasped, the conceptual thought of the mind itself at that time does not exist, so it is experienced in that way, and later conceptual thought recalls that there are such two ways, so these two ways of the mind are established. Because there are two ways, the grasper experiences through the grasped, self-awareness itself is the result of valid cognition, that is, in the case of this universally expressed valid cognition, the meaning of expression is established only through experiencing seeing, hearing, etc. Second, the way of appearance depends on the measure of the result of meaning. Meaning exists, but self-awareness is the result. For this, one must abandon the unreasonable. First, meaning exists, but it does not appear itself. Therefore, self-awareness as the result is reasonable. First

La. The situation is only the experience of mind itself. Phenomena arise, clinging to them as if they were real. Other than that, it is not reasonable. First, as stated in the Pramana Sutra: 'Or it is the fruit of self-awareness, Its nature determines the function, The appearance of the object itself, Is measured by this pramana.' As it is said, from the perspective of phenomena appearing as external objects, even according to the Sautrantika school, external objects are measurable, and the apprehended aspect is the pramana, while the apprehending aspect becomes the self-aware fruit of experiencing the apprehended aspect. As mentioned earlier, two modes are established in the mind. Therefore, whatever appears and whatever is experienced is merely the experience of the mind itself. Thus, when cognizing blue and other things, for this appearance of consciousness, if one desires an external object as the cause of appearance, and this object is different from consciousness, or if one does not desire an external object, but only speaks of it as an internal habit, both of these views hold that when the mind grasps an object, the thing of the external object is not established, it is only the appearance of consciousness, and there is no other experience besides that. If this verse is translated in this way, it must be explained in this way, but it seems slightly different from the explanation of the two aspects of mind. Alternatively, desire and non-desire are the cause of appearance, that is, the object itself is regarded as pleasant and unpleasant, and both of these are the experience of the aspect of consciousness that has not been established as a thing. Connect it in this way. Second, thus, although it is only the experience of mind, the consciousness arising from the strengthening of habits gives rise to clinging because it appears as real. When the part of the consciousness arising from the strengthening of habits is established as real on the apprehended aspect, at that time, the sense consciousness seems to be connected with the object of the external object. At that time, in reality, the senses and objects are also only the appearance of consciousness, and there is nothing else besides that. However, the mind, due to confusion, regards the nature of experience as an external object, and the subsequent consciousness also confirms it in this way and gives rise to clinging, just like the senses and objects in a dream. At that time, if it is said from that point of view, the knowledge of the object or the perception of the object can be established as the fruit of pramana, but if analyzed truthfully, it is the fruit of self-awareness, because the so-called 'like object' should not be reasonable other than the apprehended aspect. Third, refutation and desire are both impossible.
