Entering into that, experiencing naturally clear and unfabricated ease on the very nature of one's own mind, abiding in the arising of non-fabrication and freedom from the effort of means, is the Great Perfection, of which there are three. These three are also established from the aspect of the wisdom that realizes the state of purity and equality, which are indivisible. However, in essence, the illusory body also appears as emptiness, and luminosity is also unceasing in its self-appearance, so it is union. But it is shown in this way by means of the greater and lesser. Similarly, these names of purity and equality, if measured by the meaning of both words, are spoken from their respective aspects. Any one word can also show both. When purity is spoken, it shows purity as the divine realm in conventional truth, and purity as being free from the characteristics of elaboration in ultimate truth. When equality is spoken, it also shows equality as the equality of Buddha and sentient beings without distinction in conventional truth, and equality in the sphere of non-elaboration in ultimate truth. Therefore, whichever of these two words is spoken, it can represent the meaning of being enlightened from the beginning, so it is taught in various ways in the tantras, which should be understood. Such illusory body and the like, these three wisdoms, have differences in experience and realization, and experience also has various kinds such as stability and instability. Other ways of distinguishing them include the meaning of words that correspond to the Perfection Vehicle, the general meaning that corresponds to the generation stage, the hidden meaning that corresponds to the complete stage with signs, and the ultimate meaning that corresponds to the signless Great Perfection or the result, these four ways can also be applied individually. These four ways, the latter is more excellent than the meaning of the former, and all tend towards the ultimate meaning, which should be understood. Also, drawing the experience of the four emptinesses solely through the samadhi of familiarization with the fine line of the path and the like, and the ways of grasping luminosity during absorption, deep sleep, and death are generally similar, but there is a great difference in the way of stopping the subtle movement of wind and mind. Wherever the subtle wind and mind have not dissolved, that is not the ultimate luminosity. The luminosity sphere in which all eighty self-natures of conceptual thought, together with their mounts, have dissolved, possessing the nature of unceasing awareness radiance, is the wisdom that is distinguished from the two, mind and wisdom, and is not mind, but is the nature of reality, not a phenomenon, the order is oneness with the sphere, it is the awareness radiance without grasper and grasped.

Therefore, and because the nature of mind is the union of appearance and emptiness, beyond expression. Although there are many things to be said here, they will be said elsewhere. Such a principle is taught even in the Paramita Vehicle, let alone the Vajra Vehicle. In the Sutra Requested by Blo-gros rgya-mtsho, it says: If the sky can be defiled by afflictions, then traces can also be shown on it. The self-nature, clear light, perfect Bodhicitta, it can never be defiled by afflictions. Also, in the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: The mind always desires the self-nature clear light, it is spoiled by sudden faults. Another mind other than the Dharma-nature mind is called the non-clear light self-nature. Also, in the Uttaratantra, it says: Whatever is the self-nature clear light of the mind, it is immutable like the sky. Attachment, etc., arising from untrue thoughts, it will not be defiled by sudden stains. As it is said. At this time, if there is no real understanding of the meaning of the base truth inseparable union, then the base clear light cannot be determined. The so-called clear light, if only from the perspective of emptiness, then when all minds and mental factors disappear, the mind is completely non-existent. If there is no mind, even if there is emptiness like the sky, who can recognize it? If it is understood from the perspective of the clear awareness of the ordinary mind, and it is said that the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped can also be found, then why can't the eighty kinds of self-nature conceptualizations be found in it? The principle is the same. Therefore, the Dharma-nature of the mind is originally inseparable from the realm of wisdom, beyond the scope of grasping and being grasped conceptualization. Originally, like the sky, it abides in a state of immutability. When the sudden grasping and being grasped conceptualization disappears like a cloud, through the power of the path, the wisdom that arises from the Dharma-nature's own power, without grasping and being grasped, self-illuminatingly experiences, this is called the vision of clear light. If the wisdom of self-power does not waver, then it is neither delusion nor liberation, it just abides in the base. If it wavers from self-power, deviates due to conditions, becomes inconsistent with the base, and becomes grasping and being grasped, then it is called mind, which is delusion, and is the root of holding all the habits of samsara, like grass roots.
