However, this is merely a means of understanding it. Gradually, one can enter this state by becoming familiar with the methods of those paths of action. For those sharp-witted disciples who are to be guided by sudden enlightenment or Dzogchen, they do not rely on easily applied methods, etc., but are able to enter this way solely through the power of the guru's oral instructions and the transmission of blessings. In any case, this is the supreme fruit of all other completion stages. That is, through the guru's oral instructions, one's own mind-essence is directly and nakedly recognized as primordial, uncreated, self-born wisdom, and it is placed in a state free from affirmation and negation, fabrication and confusion. Among these, hearing the oral instructions of recognition is the approach, like opening the eyes in order to enter the great mandala of self-existing perfection. Understanding its meaning oneself is the near approach, like seeing the mandala. Practicing as understood, thereby experiencing the wisdom of one's own nature, is the accomplishment, like entering the mandala. When practice is stable, and the clinging to the activities of the path and the sectarianism of the eight vehicles disappears, and confidence in the meaning of Dzogchen is gained, it is the great accomplishment, like receiving empowerment in the mandala. Therefore, entering this great mandala of self-nature cannot be done through characteristics, substances, etc., but is entered through the energy of self-awareness. To that, abiding without fabrication is the method of abiding, and from that, the wisdom that sees the meaning of self-nature without fabrication arises as self-illumination, which is the path of Dzogchen, the fruit of the method of abiding. Second, there are three ways in which wisdom arises from practicing the path in this way: the wisdom of appearance, the wisdom of emptiness, and the wisdom of union. The first is, on the level of the generation stage, appearing as artificial deity forms; on the level of the completion stage, from the state of clear light, represented by the twelve similes of illusion, deity forms composed only of wind and mind, etc., infinite appearances are merely self-appearances. The second is, through the stability of the generation stage's samadhi, the deity appearances are withdrawn, and one contemplates non-objectification, and the completion stage experiences the four emptinesses based on the yoga of methods with signs, that is, seeing the co-emergent clear light at the time of the final emptiness. The third is the nature of all phenomena, the wisdom of the sphere of reality
