Therefore, knowing the self-nature, it is spontaneously accomplished without separation from the essence. The nature of reality is established as the union of appearance and emptiness, and impure appearances do not exist in reality. Therefore, the nature of reality manifests as body and wisdom in the state of luminosity. Its distinctions are immeasurable, possessing the Buddha's teachings that surpass the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River. It is accepted not only in mantra but also in the common Great Vehicle. As the Uttaratantra Shastra says: "Immeasurable, surpassing the sands of the Ganges, endowed with qualities that are inconceivable and incomparable, the stainless realm of the Thus-Gone One is free from all faults with habitual tendencies." Thus, it shows that in the state of complete purity, the lineage that abides as the realm and self-nature of the fruition, in terms of essence, has no change or difference of good or bad. Therefore, in meditative equipoise, through the power of obtaining the clear appearance of the nature of reality, all phenomena that appear in this way do not go beyond the realm of the great equality of the nature of reality, and in equality, all inseparable appearances are the meaning of primordial purity. The supreme certainty that arises from this is the special subsequent cognition, which is the view of secret mantra. Thus, seeing the realm of luminosity as it is, obtaining the wisdom of the path of seeing of the sutras, in meditative equipoise, seeing the meaning of the great equality of the dharmadhatu in a non-dualistic way, in that state, although there are no elaborations such as pure and impure, existent and non-existent, by the power of directly seeing the dharmadhatu, in the state of subsequent cognition, the meaning of pure great equality is realized as it is. As the Uttaratantra Shastra also says: "Since the nature of mind is naturally luminous, seeing that the nature of afflictions is non-existent, whoever truly realizes that all beings are selfless and peaceful, and sees that all have entered into complete Buddhahood, is a wise one without obscurations. Homage to the immaculate, infinite beings, before the wisdom that sees the pure realm of beings." Thus it is proclaimed. Therefore, if one does not realize this kind of meaning of the pure great equality of the mantra path of inseparable cause and effect, let alone attain Buddhahood, one cannot see the truth of the nature of reality as it is. Or one might think that in the sutra path, it has not been taught that all appearances are the self-nature of primordial Buddhahood, the great purity, so it is impossible to see the truth by the sutra path alone.

The meaning of showing all dharmas as equality in the path, due to the habit of accumulating countless eons of accumulations, it is as if it has become a hidden meaning in one's own path. Even for the great purity of appearance and existence, certainty can be drawn naturally after a long time. For example, in the three pure lands, one can see the purity of the environment and beings, and realize the equality of samsara and nirvana. The practice of the pure land practitioner, the equality of samsara and nirvana and the union of pure lands, is the manifestation of pure equality spoken of in mantra. Therefore, by skillfully combining methods, one can quickly attain Buddhahood, and the methods of mantra can also be manifested by their own power. Moreover, as stated in the sutras, after obtaining the first bhumi, if one wishes, one can attain Buddhahood in seven days. Therefore, relying on mantra to quickly attain Buddhahood, and the meaning taught in mantra can only be realized after a long time, these two exist together. It should be understood that their intentions do not contradict each other, the key lies in one point. There are many things that need to be said here, but they will be discussed elsewhere. Therefore, ultimately, all dharmas abide in great equality, but in the relative truth, cause and effect, acceptance and rejection are different, and one does not wish for samsara itself to become a Buddha, therefore it is called the causal vehicle. Due to its influence, until one has not directly seen the truth, there is a state of confusion regarding the meaning of all dharmas becoming Buddhas. In the mantra path, even from the stage of initially cutting off superimpositions through hearing and thinking, one views the great purity of non-differentiation between samsara and nirvana, therefore the view is not confused. Therefore, since it appears as the nature of the origin, the path truth, and the cessation of suffering truth, afflictions are liberated as wisdom, and suffering is liberated as great bliss, therefore, viewing cause and effect as non-different, it is called the fruit vehicle and the vajra vehicle. Due to its influence, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are also indicated by the name vajra. Second, establishing the view of mantra itself, divided into individually establishing and commonly establishing. Two. The first is: establishing as pure, establishing as equal, establishing as non-different. The first is: establishing the way of purity, and refuting the unreasonableness of this. The first is: establishing appearance as deities, and establishing the object of awareness as wisdom. The first is: directly establishing with valid cognition that examines conventional terms, and the power of valid cognition that examines ultimate meaning.
