So, the white lotus, the lord of the world, the one who holds the lotus is himself. The extensive commentary on the King of Condensed Tantras, the Kalachakra, following the root tantra, the twelve thousand shlokas of "Vimalaprabha," from which the supreme and immutable wisdom is attained, called the third chapter of the "Great Condensed Explanation," is explained here. The holy king, of all victors, compassionate lord holding the white lotus, before the protector with the body of wisdom, I prostrate to Ajita himself. Thus it is said. This third "Condensed Explanation" is extremely profound, and it is said that Atisha was very pleased with Dromi Lotsawa, so much so that even a copy of this book was not shown to anyone until later. Now, the explanation of the central channel's breath is taught. The eight vowels, such as "Li," etc., these one hundred and twenty-eight verses, etc., are mostly explained by the ancients as the place for examining the activities of body, speech, and mind. However, here, the types of central channel breath are mainly taught, and the great significance of examining the activities of body, speech, and mind is not apparent. Therefore, this is the nature of all aspects of knowledge and knowable objects, the supreme and immutable accomplishment of the Great Seal, the wisdom of the meaning to be expressed, with the meaning of one verse, extensively determined by the third "Condensed Explanation," after which, by means of skillful methods, where to strike the key point, thereby accomplishing the foundation for accomplishing the Great Seal, which is the central channel, and the wisdom wind based on it, therefore, as previously stated, it is explained as a continuation of the previous text. So, what are the eight vowels such as "Li"? That is, "Li, U, Ri, I, A, Am, Ah, Aam," these eight, these become the nature of the five qualities of objects such as form, and dust, darkness, and mental strength, that is, the eight qualities. Li is the quality of fragrance and earth. Similarly, U is the quality of form. Ri is the quality of taste. I is the quality of touch. A is the quality of sound and space. Am is the quality of mental strength. Ah is the quality of dust. Aam is the quality of darkness, the latter being a very long vowel. For this very long vowel, the indestructible, all-supreme emptiness is represented by the single consonant "Ha," which is a clarifier, that is, it is represented by a semi-vowel to reduce

Therefore, dividing the eight vowels, including semi-vowels, in a way that distinguishes them from each other. Wherever the truth of origination possesses one quality, all others are bound to be present. Therefore, multiplying these eight vowels by the seven non-semi-vowels yields fifty-six and a half, which is taken as the meaning of one foot. Thus, together with the foot, taste and arrows, etc., are the seeds of the fifty-six and a quarter breaths that initially descend from the Brahma aperture after a child is born. That is to say, for a child born during an unequal time of union, such as the sheep, the breath in the central channel flows from the left, corresponding to the short vowels. For a child born during an equal time of union, such as the ox, the breath in the central channel flowing from the right corresponds to the long vowels due to the influence of the qualities of the place. Thus, the way to distinguish the flow of the left and right channels is like this. Here, some say that in order not to include the meaning of semi-vowels, first multiply the two sets of seven vowels to get fourteen, and the two semi-vowels are added together to become one, which is mixed to be fifteen. Multiplying that by fifteen yields two hundred and twenty-five, and multiplying by the two halves, since they all become four, divide by four to get fifty-six, which is the number of breaths, and the extra one is the foot. Here, even if it is mentioned in the stages of gathering like Li, it is only symbolic. Since the left nostril proceeds through the stages of generation such as space, the seed should also be done in the stages of expansion. In the chakras such as the navel, due to the certainty of the five qualities, etc., the life force is in accordance with the way the stages of generation and gathering of space, etc., occur, so the seed syllables should also be understood in this way, that is, by understanding that the left channel flows with short vowels during unequal times of union, and the right channel flows with long vowels during equal times of union. Here, the phrase "born at what time of union" refers to the astrological time displayed by the external constellations at the time of the child's birth, as well as the internal time of the mother's life force, and the internal time from which the child's own initial life force descends. Although there are these three views, most people think that the last view is unreasonable. But it seems more reasonable where the child's own initial flow comes from, that is, immediately after the child is born, after the karma wind has flowed, from which the left or right channel begins to flow, and from there the two flows begin to alternate.
