此外，以慈悲和悲心，驱逐一切黑色毒蛇，便可获得此药。若以此眼药涂抹眼角，则能超度那名为“尸虫、木马山”的艰难山谷，细小虫聚之地，由此得解脱者将成为具大福德之人。尔后，当至名为“罗婆婆”之山，以及其后的名为“怖容铜林”之大森林中，那里有巨蛇名为“铜眼”，极难忍耐，以剧毒之气息能致人死亡。其穴中有水积六个月，水量盈满；因饥饿受逼迫，六个月不得眠，最终得解脱。又在“光明根”之石门洞穴中开启，得含香之眼药，昼夜放光。服此药并诵读“未曾有”佛智之偈，即能不受大蛇及他害。尔后，七大山被光芒之矛所遮，须着铜铠而行。其后，渡过“沙勒玛丽”之林及七变幻之河，登上名为“三峰”的高山。三峰之顶有金刚焰射，须以铜鞋加持双足而行。继而，经“三峰河”、复至名为“铁峰山”、及其河岸，至铁塔之山、其河，复过名为“三十八曲”的难行之山与同名之河，继而到细碎出生之山。其后，至名为“烟目”的山侧，遍满毒蛇吐烟之障难。其顶有大洞，以岩石围绕，内藏宝珠光之孔穴，及大药名“养命”。其中之种子，具头足手腹，并持咒力，行之则不为毒蛇所害。再后，至名为“毒蛇七山”之地，众生不得安居；并越过如是七河，攀上名为“白峰顶至天”的高山。其一侧有名为“日提基”之城，庄严以如意树，犹如天宫。

Furthermore, with loving-kindness and compassion, the black poisonous serpents are expelled, and thus the medicine is obtained. If one applies this eye-medicine to the corners of the eyes, one may traverse the difficult valley called 'Corpse-Worm and Wooden-Horse Mountain,' a place of countless tiny worms, and from there, the virtuous one will gain liberation. Thereafter, one reaches the mountain called 'Rarava-bha,' and behind it the terrifying 'Copper Forest,' a great jungle. Within dwells a great serpent called 'Copper-Eye,' hard to endure, whose poisonous breath causes death. In its cavern, waters gather for six months, filling completely. Tormented by hunger, unable to sleep for six months, one finally attains liberation. Again, in the cave of 'Radiant Root Rock,' when opened, there is fragrant eye-medicine, shining day and night. Taking this medicine and reciting the Buddha’s wisdom verse called 'Unprecedented,' one will not be harmed by great serpents or others. Afterward, seven great mountains, covered by spears of light, are crossed wearing copper sandals. Then, passing through the 'Shalmali forest' and seven rivers of transformation, one climbs the lofty mountain called 'Three Peaks.' On its summit, vajra flames blaze; one must walk with copper-bound feet. Then comes the 'Three-Peaks River,' followed by the 'Iron Peak Mountain,' and its riverbank, and the 'Iron Tower Mountain' with its stream. Next is the perilous 'Thirty-Eight Bends Mountain' and its river, followed by the 'Fine-Fragments Birth Mountain.' Thereafter lies the 'Smoke-Eye Mountain,' where poisonous serpents fill all sides with smoky vapor. On its summit is a vast cavern encircled with stone, wherein are the jewel-light chamber and the great medicine called 'Life-Sustainer.' Its seeds possess heads, legs, arms, and bellies, and empowered with mantra strength, they may be carried unharmed, immune to venomous serpents. Then come the 'Seven Poison-Serpent Mountains,' uninhabitable by beings; and after crossing seven such rivers, one climbs the 'White Peak Reaching Sky.' On one side lies the city named 'Rihitika,' adorned with wish-fulfilling trees, resembling a divine abode.

于是，导师心力广大者，名为“摩伽”（Magha），如同百赐之主般广为称誉，能利益一切有情。此人说道：“我将前往婆达罗洲（Vadara）之地，显示彼处道路之全部教授。”言毕，授记之天女遂隐不现。于是他心中欢喜，依照天神所示，纵遇大难，仍悉皆度过；行程十二年，遂抵达“日嗬底迦”（Rihitika，或利提迦城）之大城。其间导师摩伽病苦折磨，不得入城，只能暂居城门。后以医者之力，方得入内，相互对谈。当地明智之人询问后，知其寿命仅余六月。虽心不快，然仍以药疗与调护，致其康复，且与众人相亲厚。渐渐病体平复。导师自述往事，摩伽备加赞叹，并欣然为其助伴。因婆达里洲岛屿从未有人见，但可从大海诸方标记推测其向。于是造舟名“冬俄”（Dong-ngo），与摩伽同舟，乘顺风而行，航程数百里。途中观见水色多样，遂问摩伽。摩伽答曰：“此海之中有五座铁山，复有诸如铜与银等之差别，故致大海色泽变幻。”此时摩伽旧疾复发，虽超越寿限，但导师意志坚固，仍能前行。复为友人设法救治。继而复乘舟渡过江河宝藏，入珍宝之山麓密林。然高耸之山峰难以攀登，故改道环绕，于林下之草地安寝。心中叹曰：‘已行至此，然犹未闻婆达里之岛名；且至交亦已亡没。’然思惟：‘此行若成若败，纵死亦无悔。’时有名为“供养施青”（mchod sbyin sngon po，意为“青施供”）者至，言道：“从此往东一段路，有第三峰顶，上有以地所筑之台阶。”

Then the guide, of great courage and strength of heart, named Magha, renowned like Indra of the hundred gifts for benefiting all beings, said: “I shall journey to the land of Badara and reveal all the teachings of the path that leads there.” Having spoken thus, the prophetic goddess vanished from sight. Filled with joy, he followed as the deity had instructed, overcoming immense hardships, and after twelve years he reached the great city of Rihitika. There, the guide Magha was stricken by illness and, unable to enter the city, dwelt at the gate. Later, through the skill of a physician, he was admitted and conversed with others. A wise man, skilled in such sciences, determined that the guide’s life would last only six months. Though disheartened, yet through medicine and proper treatment, his health improved, and in a short time he became well-beloved, and his sickness subsided. He recounted his story; Magha praised him and joyfully became his companion. The island of Badara had never been seen, but by examining the signs of the ocean’s directions, they crafted a boat called Dong-ngo. Boarding together, with favorable winds, they sailed hundreds of miles. Seeing the varied colors of the sea, he asked Magha, who replied: “In this ocean are five iron mountains, and others of copper and silver, whose qualities alter the ocean’s hues.” At that point, Magha’s sickness relapsed, and though his time was past, the steadfast and strong-hearted guide pressed onward, providing care for his companion’s body. Again they boarded the vessel, crossed the rivers of treasure, and entered the dense forests beneath the jeweled mountain. Yet the high peaks reaching to the heavens were impassable, and from every side the ascent was hard. Thus they rested in the meadows beneath the cliffs. He reflected: “Though I have traveled so far, still I have not heard the name of the land of Badara, and my dearest companion has perished.” Yet he resolved: “Whether this purpose be accomplished or not, even in death I shall not regret.” At that moment, there came one named Blue Offering (mchod sbyin sngon po, meaning ‘Blue Benefaction’), who said: “From here, if you go east for a measure of distance, there is the third mountain peak, upon which is a staircase made of earth.”
