The minor kings requested Spyi bo skyes to be king, and he said, "If my father the king has passed away, what good is it to go there? If I have the merit and power to become king, then the Great Kings and Indra and others will request me and anoint me as king." As soon as he said this, the kings of the four Great Kingly lineages descended and, holding jeweled vases filled with scented water, poured it on his head, thus anointing him. The lord of the gods also bound a jeweled diadem on his head and praised his virtues. Before the people bound the throne and diadem, the gods did so in this way. Then the minor kings requested him to go to the central country, and he said, "If I have the power to become king, then the country itself will come to me. I will not go in pursuit of the country." As soon as he said this, the great country, including the king's palace, gardens, bathing ponds, and all that was needed, appeared there, and that country became known as "settled." The seven precious jewels, including the golden wheel, also appeared there, and he became a great Chakravartin king who ruled over the four continents. A thousand sons, brave and resilient, endowed with the most excellent limbs, and capable of utterly destroying the enemy's camp, also appeared completely, and he ruled the kingdom according to Dharma. At that time, in a forest near that vast city, there were five hundred hermits with five kinds of clairvoyance meditating, and there were very many birds making sounds there, which became thorns to their meditation. 我名为自性恶者，舍弃了令鸟雀掉落翅膀的诅咒，事情就那样发生了。那些鸟雀没有翅膀，用脚行走，国王巡视领地时看见了，便询问那是怎么回事。苦行者禀告说是被诅咒变成那样的。国王说：像这种对众生没有慈悲心的苦行者，不要住在我的国土里。像这样对待那些苦行者之后，他们心想：这位是统治四大部洲的国王，我们去须弥山的台阶上吧，便到那里居住下来。之后国王我，从那乳母那里得知人们用心思量，接近衡量。为了衡量和了解工匠和工作场所的情况，因此他的名字被称为力生。之后国王到外面巡视，看见很多人在挖地、耕田。国王问大臣们：这些人做什么？大臣禀告说：天神，一切众生都依靠食物为生，因此这些人耕田来维持生计。国王说：如果我有成为国王的福德，就让这些人不用工作，自然而然地出现具有百种滋味的食物，让所有人都吃饱喝足，没有饥渴。刚说完，所有食物都自然出现了。国王说：这是谁的福德？他们回答说：这是国王的福德，也是众生的福德。之后又去巡视，看见织布工在纺纱、织布。询问他们在做什么，回答说：虽然有食物，但是没有衣服，所以才这样做。国王祈愿所有衣服都自然出现，就像所有树木都自然生长出各种各样的衣服一样，让所有人都有穿不完的衣服。询问这是谁的福德，回答和之前一样。之后又看见有人拿着乐器，询问这是什么，回答说：虽然食物和衣服都很充足，但是这些人为了快乐和喜爱才演奏音乐。国王祈愿乐器自然出现，刚说完，所有树木都出现了所有的乐器，自动演奏并能听到。

I, named Self-Nature Evil, abandoned the curse that caused the birds' wings to fall off, and it happened that way. Those birds, without wings, walked on foot, and when the king went to inspect the territory, he saw them and asked what had happened. The ascetic reported that it was caused by a curse. The king said: Such ascetics who have no compassion for sentient beings should not live in my kingdom. After treating the ascetics in this way, they thought: This is the king who rules the four continents, let us go to the steps of Mount Sumeru, and they went there and settled down. Then the king, I, learned from that wet nurse that people think and approach measurement. In order to measure and understand the situation of craftsmen and workplaces, his name was called Strength-Born. Then the king went out to inspect and saw many people digging and plowing the fields. The king asked the ministers: What are these people doing? The ministers reported: God, all beings live on food, so these people plow the fields to make a living. The king said: If I have the merit to become a king, let these people not have to work, and let food with a hundred flavors appear naturally, so that everyone is full and satisfied, without hunger or thirst. As soon as he finished speaking, all the food appeared naturally. The king said: Whose merit is this? They replied: This is the merit of the king, and also the merit of sentient beings. Then he went to inspect again and saw the weavers spinning and weaving. He asked what they were doing, and they replied: Although there is food, there are no clothes, so they are doing this. The king prayed that all clothes would appear naturally, just as all the trees naturally grow all kinds of clothes, so that everyone has endless clothes to wear. He asked whose merit this was, and the answer was the same as before. Then he saw someone holding a musical instrument and asked what it was, and they replied: Although food and clothing are sufficient, these people play music for joy and love. The king prayed that musical instruments would appear naturally, and as soon as he finished speaking, all the trees produced all the musical instruments, which played automatically and could be heard.
