之后，唉玛！烦恼九个月在那的腹中居住，吸吮乳汁之后就在那里那样做。对于像这样执着于非法等的众生，不乐意行持菩提的行为。心想独自一人的利益要成办，于是在一棵树下，对五取蕴的生灭随顺观察，获得了独觉的菩提。他这样想：我为了众生行持了很多苦行，也没有利益到谁。我现在对谁慈悲，从谁那里乞食来吃呢？他用天眼观察这个世间，看到所有的食物都已耗尽，看到金色国王那里有一小升剩余的食物。之后心想我慈悲地从他那里乞讨来吃吧。于是像天鹅王一样在空中飞翔，在金色国王的金色王宫里，国王金色与五千大臣一起坐在楼阁之上，降临在那里说话，为了食物而来。国王流着眼泪说：我这样统治着世间，却不能供养一位仙人。司库，家里如果有一点饮食，就供养这位仙人吧。他说：天啊，您知道的，所有的食物都耗尽了，只有您剩下的食物一升了。国王心想：吃了就能活，不吃就一定会死。又想到： 吃了也一定会死，活着就足够了。供养给像这样的应供处吧，于是召集眷属们说：唉！这是金色国王最后一次布施，之后要随喜啊！以此善根，愿世间所有的人都彻底断除贫穷。将那一小升装入独觉的钵中，将钵交到他的右手中。他接过之后，在空中离去了。国王在能看到的地方一直合掌瞻望。之后国王对眷属们说：各自回到自己的住所去吧！不要在这里遭受饥渴而死。他们说：我们在天神您拥有威严和福分的时代，在您身边嬉戏玩乐，

Then, alas! Afflictions reside in her womb for nine months, and after sucking milk, they do so right there. For sentient beings who are attached to such non-virtue, I am not happy to practice the conduct of Bodhi. Thinking that the benefit of oneself alone should be accomplished, under a tree, he observed the arising and ceasing of the five aggregates of clinging, and attained the Bodhi of a Pratyekabuddha. He thought, "I have practiced many austerities for the sake of sentient beings, but I have not benefited anyone. Now, to whom shall I be compassionate, and from whom shall I beg for food to eat?" With his divine eye, he looked at this world and saw that all food was exhausted, and he saw that King Golden Color had a small bushel of leftover food. Then he thought, "I will compassionately beg from him and eat." Then, like a king of swans, he flew in the sky, and in the golden palace of the king, King Golden Color, together with five thousand ministers, was sitting on the top of the palace, and he descended there and spoke, saying that he had come for food. The king shed tears and said, "Even though I rule the world in this way, I cannot offer alms to a single hermit." Treasurer, if there is a little food and drink in the house, offer it to this hermit. He said, "O God, you know that all the food is exhausted, and there is only a bushel of your leftover food." The king thought, "If I eat it, I will live, but if I don't eat it, I will surely die." He thought again: Even if I eat, I will surely die, living is enough. Let me offer it to such a worthy object, and then he gathered his retinue and said: Alas! This is the last time that King Golden Color is giving alms, may you rejoice afterwards! By this root of virtue, may all the people of the world completely cut off poverty. He poured that small bushel into the Pratyekabuddha's begging bowl and gave the bowl to his right hand. After he took it, he departed into the sky. The king watched with his palms joined together as far as he could see. Then the king said to his retinue: Return to your respective places! Do not die here of hunger and thirst. They said: When we, the gods, have glory and fortune, we play and rejoice in your service,

Then, that Pratyekabuddha consumed all the food. Then, in that very instant, four thick clouds arose from the four directions, and a cold wind also arose. The entire continent was swept clean, and various foods rained down. Like this, rice, flour, warm porridge, meat, radishes, leaves, sesame seeds, and brown sugar, etc., rained down. King Golden Hue was delighted and satisfied, and he summoned all those around him, saying: Alas! From offering just one portion of food, such a sprout has appeared today. The fruit, leaves, and flowers will appear later. Then, on the second day, for seven days, rain of wealth and grains fell. Like this, sesame seeds and thick rice porridge, etc., all kinds of grains rained down. Then, for seven days, rain of butter fell, for seven days, rain of sesame oil fell, for seven days, rain of fine cotton cloth fell, for seven days, rain of various kinds of food fell, for seven days, rain of gold, silver, crystal, lapis lazuli, red pearls, the essence of jewels, and coral, these seven precious things rained down. Through the power of King Golden Hue, the poverty of all the people of Jambudvipa was cut off. ༈ Furthermore, in the past, in this Jambudvipa, when people's lifespans could reach immeasurable years, there was a king named Devoted or Observance of Vows Supreme, who ruled over eighty-four thousand small kingdoms, had eighty thousand consorts and attendants, and thousands of ministers. At that time, one day, a fleshy tumor like an egg appeared on the crown of King Observance of Vows Supreme's head. That tumor was clear, painless, soft, and light. It gradually grew larger and became as big as a gourd. When it split open, a handsome youth with golden skin and dark blue hair emerged from within. The diviners prophesied: This child possesses signs of extraordinary qualities, he will become a universal monarch ruling over the four continents. And the boy's name was also given as Born from the Crown.
