Offer flowers from... May the evil destinies of this world be forever severed, and may it be transformed into a mind of loving-kindness. Those who wander in the sky make offerings with flowers and the like. In order to hear the prayers of the Brahmins, all the gods from Akanishta down to... descend to Jambudvipa (Earth), and abide in the center of the sky, diligently engaging in the work of offering with divine incense and silk-adorned canopies and the like. Then, that Brahmin, with palms joined together, said to the Tathagata (Sanskrit: Tathāgata): Like Brahma, liberated by meditation. The light of the body is like Indra. Like a king, generously giving away wealth and grain, like a merchant possessing supreme jewels. Proclaiming peace, like a lion in the mountains. Unmoving, stable like Mount Meru. Like the ocean, without turbulence, like the earth, equally treating merits and faults. Like this, first praising with verses, then requesting: Venerable Bhagavan, I entrust countless billions of beings to the holding of complete enlightenment, may they each guard their own vast Buddha-fields, and may they also take hold of those sentient beings who are to be tamed, who are pure in mind, who guard their roots of virtue, and who are easy to tame. Those one thousand and four Brahmin youths who recite the Vedas, including the guardians of the stars, have been prophesied by the Tathagata to become Buddhas in the Fortunate Aeon. Those noble beings, although they can be tamed by the three vehicles that engage with desire, hatred, and pride, have completely abandoned the obscurations of afflictions and the dregs of the age of strife. Therefore, they also abandon those who commit the five heinous crimes, those who abandon the Dharma, those who slander the noble ones, those with wrong views, those who are separated from the seven noble riches, those who do not hold to father, those who do not hold to mother, those who do not hold to ascetics and Brahmins, those who do what should not be done, those who do not do meritorious deeds, those who are separated from the ten virtuous paths, those who do not fear the next world, those who do not seek the three good conducts, those who enter the three evil conducts, those who are abandoned by all the wise and virtuous friends, those who are trapped in the prison of existence, and those who have passed into the cycle of existence.

Having abandoned those who are sinking in the mire of samsara, obscured by the darkness of ignorance, destroyed by evil paths, and suffering great distress. Because even these holy beings have abandoned all beings of this Fortunate Aeon when the lifespan is ten years. They are in the waves of the ocean of existence, lost in the illusion of samsara, without refuge or support. And are not their own Buddha-fields good and pure, and have they not completely taken hold of beings who have accumulated roots of virtue, whose minds are pure and easy to tame? The Tathagata said: Brahmin, it is so. I will also prophesy that those who make aspirations according to the minds of each being, and the Buddha-fields established by the Buddhas are also completely taken hold of. The Brahmin reported: Venerable Bhagavan, my heart trembles like the leaves of a kingśuka tree, my mind is sorrowful, and my whole body is exhausted. Bhagavan, if the Bodhisattvas abandon those beings who are cast into darkness by the time of great strife, and those beings become the object of my compassion, then, Bhagavan, in the future, after countless kalpas like the sands of one Ganges River, when the second kalpa arrives, in that Fortunate Aeon, when the lifespan of beings can reach a thousand years, I will abide there, and during that long time, while practicing the conduct of Bodhi, may I never be weary of samsara. May I, with the power of samadhi (समाधि, samādhi, ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་, concentration), mature over a long time, and after seeing beings who can be tamed, be happy to completely take hold of them, and completely take hold of them by practicing the six paramitas (षट्पारमिता, ṣaṭpāramitā, ཕར་ཕྱིན་དྲུག་, six perfections). The Bhagavan said, "Completely abandoning the characteristics of things, that is the perfection of generosity." One should practice such generosity. In other lifetimes, if there are countless beggars, I will be extremely happy to give them food, drink, shelter, medicine, umbrellas, banners, and jewels, and whatever else they desire, and with a compassionate heart, I will give to beings without expecting reward, so that beings may be completely matured. And also, for the sake of benefiting those beings, the collections of offerings, etc.
