当他请求说：“请把那一小块食物给我”时，国王完全放弃了自己的生命，把那一小块食物给了婆罗门。就这样，从一天到六天断食，但他看到其他人吃东西时感到高兴。天神因陀罗看到国王如此辛勤地修行，便显现了自己的身形说：“有像这样守护众生的，众生就有了依靠，太好了！你的苦行让我满意。现在就通告全国去获取所有的种子吧，我将在七天内降下能让谷物生长的强大雨水。”正如他所说，雨降了下来，消除了饥荒，带来了丰收和幸福。༈ 此外，世尊自己转世为名为寂静者国王，以大慈悲心开始布施一切。在供养的殿堂里，他给予食物、饮料、衣服和珍宝等一切所需之物。对于王妃的眷属、儿子们、大臣和国民，他也给予一切所需之物，但他的福德并不满足，他想：“我已经让人们满足了，但那些剩下的小动物们该如何满足呢？”他舍弃了自己拥有的一切，只剩下一件衣服，他心想布施自己的身体，于是他切割自己的身体，把肉扔到有苍蝇等生物的地方，坐在那里让它们吸血而满足。为了考验他，因陀罗化身为一只黑鹰，想要啄他的眼睛。国王毫不畏惧地说：“从我的身体里拿走你想要的一切吧！”然后，因陀罗以婆罗门的身形索要了他的眼睛。国王说：“我的身体没有任何阻碍，拿走吧！”于是因陀罗显现了自己的身形，赞叹和赞扬了他。༈ 此外，在过去世，世尊在名为莲花宫的国王宫殿的方向，转世为城市首领之女，名为具相女，她致力于利益他人。有一次，那个地方没有下雨，土地变得干旱，发生了严重的饥荒，众生非常痛苦。在那里，一个贫穷的妇女生了一个非常瘦弱的孩子，他遭受着强烈的饥饿。

When he requested, "Please give me that one morsel of food," the king completely gave up his life and gave that one morsel of food to the Brahmin. Thus, from one day to six days of fasting, he was happy to see other people eating food. The lord of the gods, Indra, seeing the king doing such great hardship, revealed his form and said, "With such a protector of beings, beings have refuge, it is excellent! Your hardship has pleased me. Now proclaim throughout the land to obtain all the seeds, and I will cause to fall a great rain of power such that the grains will grow in seven days." As he said, the rain fell, eliminating the famine and bringing a good harvest and happiness. ༈ Furthermore, the Blessed One himself became a king named Peaceful One, and with great compassion, he engaged in giving away everything. In the hall of offerings, he gave food, drink, clothes, and jewels, etc., whatever was desired. To the retinue of the queen, the sons, the ministers, and the people of the country, he also gave whatever was desired, but he was not satisfied with his merit, thinking, "I have satisfied the people, but how shall I satisfy those small creatures that remain?" He gave away everything he owned, leaving only one garment, and thinking of giving his own body, he cut his body and threw the flesh where there were flies and other creatures, and sat there letting them be satisfied with blood. To test him, Indra transformed into a black eagle and aimed to peck his eyes. The king, without fear, said, "Take whatever you want from my body!" Then, Indra, in the form of a Brahmin, asked for his eyes. He said, "There is no obstacle to this body of mine, take it!" Then Indra revealed his own form and praised and extolled him. ༈ Furthermore, in a previous life, the Blessed One, in the direction of the king's palace called Lotus Palace, took birth as the daughter of the city chief, named Endowed with Beauty, who was devoted to benefiting others. Once, there was no rain in that land, and the land became dry, causing a great danger of famine, and sentient beings were very distressed. There, a poor woman gave birth to a very thin child who was suffering from intense hunger.

看到一个想要吃自己孩子的人。他说：“你是在做一个非常糟糕的事情吗？”那个女人心想：“这个人是慷慨的”，于是说了自己的情况，说她想吃孩子。他非常同情，流着眼泪，说了不应该吃孩子的话，但她说她太饿了，无法忍受。具相女心想：如果回家拿来吃，她会因为饥饿而在此期间吃掉孩子。如果我把这个孩子带走，她也可能会因为饥饿而死。于是她心想，为了从自己的身体中取出慈悲，我应该把肉和血给她。然后，那个女人对具相女说：“你在这里，我不好意思吃孩子，你走吧。”具相女说：“你有没有一点刀？给我。”她给了刀，具相女割下了自己像金瓶一样的两个乳房，给了她，然后回到了自己的家。她的丈夫看到她的身体和珍珠项链等沾满了血，从座位上站起来，问道：“你为什么割掉乳房？”她也说了事情的经过，说应该把食物给那个受饥饿折磨的女人。他也那样做了。就这样，具相女的奇事被众人议论。她的丈夫心想，别人也做不出这样的布施，以真谛的力量，让她的乳房恢复原样吧！话音刚落，就恢复了原样。之后，天神之王想要把这位布施胜过世间一切的具相女带到天界，自己占为己有，于是化作一个婆罗门的样子，以乞讨的姿态来到了具相女的家中。她拿着美味的食物，他说：“你布施乳房的名声传遍了世界，以这样的苦行，还追求天神之王的位置等什么呢？”她说：“我想要无上菩提，以这真实语，愿我变成男子。”话音刚落，就变成了男性的身体。

She saw someone who wanted to eat her own child. He said, "Are you doing something very bad?" The woman thought, "This person is generous," and told her situation, saying that she wanted to eat the child. He was very compassionate and shed tears, saying that she should not eat the child, but she said that she was too hungry to bear it. The woman with form thought: "If I go home to get food, she will eat the child in the meantime because of hunger. If I take this child away, she may also die of hunger." So she thought, in order to take compassion from her own body, I should give her flesh and blood. Then, the woman said to the woman with form, "You are here, I am embarrassed to eat the child, you go." The woman with form said, "Do you have a little knife? Give it to me." She gave the knife, and the woman with form cut off her two breasts like golden vases, gave them to her, and then returned to her home. Her husband saw that her body and pearl necklace, etc., were covered with blood, stood up from his seat, and asked, "Why did you cut off your breasts?" She also told what happened, saying that food should be given to the woman who was suffering from hunger. He did so as well. In this way, the wonder of the woman with form was discussed by the crowd. Her husband thought, others cannot do such charity, by the power of truth, let her breasts be restored to their original state! As soon as he spoke, they were restored to their original state. After that, the lord of the gods wanted to take this woman with form, who was more generous than all in the world, to the heavenly city and take her as his own, so he transformed himself into the form of a Brahmin, and came to the house of the woman with form in the guise of begging. She brought delicious food, and he said, "The fame of your giving away your breasts has spread throughout the world, with such asceticism, what else do you seek, such as the position of the king of the gods?" She said, "I want unsurpassed Bodhi, by this true word, may I become a man." As soon as she spoke, she became a male body.
