་བཞག་ནས་ཅི་ནས་མི་སད་པ་དེ་ལྟར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཉི་མ་གུང་ཡོལ་ནས་ཟན་ཟ་བའི་དུས་ལས་འདས་ཏེ་ཤིང་གཞན་དག་གི་གྲིབ་མ་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་གཞོལ་ཞིང་འབབ་པ་ན། ཤིང་མྱ་ངན་འཚང་དེའི་གྲིབ་མས་ནི་གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་དེའི་ལུས་མི་གཏོང་ངོ་། །སྐྱེད་ཚལ་དེའི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་འབྲས་བུའི་ཤིང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་ཤིང་མྱ་ངན་འཚང་དེ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་འདུད་པར་གྱུར། རི་དྭགས་དང་བྱ་མཐོང་ན་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་ཞིང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པར་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྤྱོད་ལམ་ཞི་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་ཀུན་ནས་བསྐོར་ཏེ་འཁོད་དོ། །གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་གཉིད་ལོག་པའི་རྨི་ལམ་དུ། བདག་ཉིད་མི་གཙང་བའི་ཕུང་པོའི་སྟེང་ན་འདུག་པ་དང་བདག་མི་ གཙང་བས་གཡོག་པ་དང་། བདག་གིས་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་ལྕེས་བལྡག་པ་དང་། པདྨའི་སྟེང་ན་འདུག་པ་དང་། རིའི་རྩེ་མོར་འཛེགས་པ་དང་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཕལ་མོ་ཆེས་བདག་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བ་ཡང་རྨིས་སོ། །དེའི་སྐབས་སུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་མི་དང་བློན་པོ་ཡུལ་མི་དེ་དག་གིས་ཆོལ་བའི་མི་བཀྱེ་བ་དེ་རྣམས་གནས་གཞན་དང་གཞན་དག་ན་ཀུན་ཏུ་འཁོར་འཁོར་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་དེར་ཕྱིན་ཏོ། །དེར་གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་ལྷའི་འབྱོར་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་མཐོང་ནས་མཆོག་ཏུ་ཡ་མཚན་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། འདི་ནི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཆེ་བར་གྲགས་པ་ཞིག་གོ་སྙམ་དུ་རིགས་ནས་རིངས་པར་དེ་དག་རྒྱལ་པོ་འཚོལ་བའི་མི་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་རྒྱས་པར་བསྙད་དོ། །དེར་གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་སད་ནས་དེ་རྨི་ལྟས་ཀྱི་དཔྱད་པ་ལ་མཁས་པས་རྨི་ལམ་དེ་དག་དཔྱད་པ་ན། མི་གཙང་བའི་སྟེང་ན་འདུག་པ་བདག་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཆེན་པོའི་བདག་པོ་ལ་གནས་པའི་སྔ་ལྟས་དང་། མི་གཙང་བས་བདག་ཉིད་གཡོག་པར་རྨིས་པ་ནི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཀྱི་འབྱོར་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཐོབ་པའི་སྔ་ལྟས་སོ། །ནམ་མཁའ་ལྕེས་བལྡག་པ་དང་པདྨའི་སྟེང་ན་འདུག་པ་ནི། རྒྱལ་པོའི་མངའ་དབང་ཆེན་པོས་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་ལ་འདུག་པའི་སྔ་ལྟས་སོ། །རིའི་རྩེ་མོར་འཛེགས་པ་ནི་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྟེང་ན་འདུག་པའི་སྔ་ལྟས་སོ། །སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བ་ནི་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཕལ་པོ་ཆེས་བདག་ལ་བཀུར་སྟི་བྱེད་པ་དེའི་སྔ་ལྟས་ཡིན་ཏེ་འདི་ལྟར་རྨི་ལམ་རྨིས་པ་དང་། ལྟས་མཐོང་བ་ལ་དཔག་ན་ངེས་པར་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་རྒྱལ་པོར་འགྱུར་རོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་འཚོལ་བ་ལ་འོངས་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཡུལ་གྱི་མི་རྣམས་ལ་སྦྲན་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་འདུས་པས། རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཀྱི་དབང་བསྐུར་བའི་ཡོ་བྱད་དེ་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ ཚལ་དེར་ལྷགས་པ་ན་ལྷའི་འབྱོར་པ་དེ་དག་མཐོང་ནས་ཡ་མཚན་དུ་གྱུར་ཏོ། །གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་མཐོང་ནས་ལྷའི་པདྨ་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ལ་སྐྱིལ་མོ་ཀྲུང་བཅས་ཏེ་འདུག་གོ། དེ་ནས་དེའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས་བསྐུལ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་བཞིས་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་འོས་པ་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་ཕུལ་ལོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་གདུགས་དཀར་པོ་དང་རྔ་ཡབ་ནོར་བུའི་ཡུ་བ་ཅན་འབུལ་ལོ། །སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ལྷའི་བླ་རེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲས་པ་འགྲེམས་སོ། །རླུང་གཏོང་བ་དང་བར་སྣང་ལ་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ནི་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཆར་འབེབས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་ཆེན་བཞིའི་རིས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ལྷའི་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཆར་འབེབས་ཤིང་ལྷའི་རོལ་མོའི་སྒྲ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བསྒྲགས་སོ། །གོས་ཀྱང་འཐོར་རོ། །རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་དང་། སྐྱེད་ཚལ་དང་ནགས་ཚལ་དུ་བཅས་པ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་རྡོ་དང་གསེག་མ་དང་གྱོ་མོ་མེད་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་བཞག་གོ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དང་བ་དན་ནི་བསྒྲེངས། དར་གྱི་ལྡ་ལྡིའི་ཆུན་པོ་ནི་ཀུན་ཏུ་བྲིས། དྲི་ཞིམ་པོའི་བདུག་པའི་སྣོད་ནི་བཏགས། མེ་ཏོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་ནི་གཏོར་ཏེ་ལྷའི་གནས་འདྲ་ཞིང་། ལྷའི་བུ་ལས་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཅན་གྱིས་གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་པའི་ཕྱིར། བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱི་བཀས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དེར་ལྷའི་ཁང་བརྩེགས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བཞི་ལས་བྱས་པ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་སྤྲུལ་ལོ། །དེ་ནས་མི་དེ་རྣམས་ངོ་མཚར་དུ་གྱུར་ནས་གུས་པར་བསྒྲིམས་པས་ཚམ་ཚོམ་མེད་པར་གཞོན་ནུ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ལྷའི་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་ལ་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ་ནས་བཀུར་སྟི་ཆེན་པོས་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཀྱི་འབྱོར་ པས་དབང་བསྐུར་རོ། །དབང་བསྐུར་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་གཞོན་ནུ་དེའི་ལུས་ལས་སྣང་བ་གང་གིས་ཉི་མའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གྱི་འོད་མེད་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་ཐད་དཀར་དཔག་ཚད་གཅིག་ཁོར་ཡུག་ཏུ་ཁྱབ་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་འོད་བྱུང་བར་གྱུར་པས་དེ་མིང་སྔར་ལས་འགྱུར་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་སྣང་བྱེད་ཅེས་བྱ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེར་ལ་ལས་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་ཤེས་སོ། །ལ་ལས་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོ་སྣང་བྱེད་ཅེས་བྱ་བར་ཤེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ལྷ་དང་མིའི་འབྱོར་བ་དེ་དག་དང་བཅས་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་དེར་སོང་ངོ་། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་སོགས་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ལ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིམ་གྲོ་བྱས་ནས་དོང་ངོ་། །རྒྱལ་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱང་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དེ་ན་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བྱེད་དེ། ཡུལ་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་འབྱོར་པ་དང་། རྒྱས་པ་དང་། བདེ་

Then, after the sun had passed noon and the time for eating had passed, and the shadows of other trees were leaning and falling to the east, the shadow of that tree, the tree of sorrow, did not leave the body of the youth Sonam Tobgye. All the flowers and fruit trees in that garden also bowed towards that tree of sorrow. The wild animals and birds, all those that were pleasing to see and auspicious, also sat around him in a peaceful manner. In his dream while sleeping, the youth Sonam Tobgye dreamed that he was sitting on a pile of impure things, that he was covered with impure things, that he was licking the sky with his tongue, that he was sitting on a lotus, that he was climbing to the top of a mountain, and that most people were prostrating to him. At that time, the people of the city, the ministers, and the villagers who had sent out searchers were wandering around in other places and then went in that direction. There, they saw such a divine glory of the youth Sonam Tobgye and were greatly amazed, thinking, "This must be someone famous for his merit," and quickly told all the people searching for the king about it in detail. Then, the youth Sonam Tobgye woke up, and because he was skilled in the interpretation of dreams and omens, he analyzed those dreams. Sitting on impure things was a sign that he would become the owner of a great kingdom; dreaming that he was covered with impure things was a sign that he would obtain great wealth of the kingdom. Licking the sky with his tongue and sitting on a lotus were signs that he would sit on a lion throne with the great authority of a king. Climbing to the top of a mountain was a sign that he would be above everything. Many people prostrating to him was a sign that most people would respect him, and judging from the dreams he had and the omens he saw, he thought that he would definitely become king there. Then, the people who had come to search for the king summoned the local residents, and when everyone had gathered, they took the implements for the enthronement of the kingdom and arrived at that garden, and saw those divine glories.

From then on, it became a wondrous event. The youth Sonam Tob also saw those things and sat in the lotus position on the great lotus. Then, urged by his merit, the four great kings offered a lion throne suitable for a great person. Indra offered a white umbrella and a jewel-handled yak tail fan. The gods of the Thirty-Three Realms displayed divine garments adorned with various jewels. The gods who send the wind and dwell in the sky rained down various divine flowers. The gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings rained down divine jewels and also proclaimed the sounds of divine music. Clothes were also scattered. The surroundings of the king's palace, including the gardens and forests, were all cleared of stones, rubble, and pebbles. Victory banners and flags were raised. Clusters of silk streamers were painted everywhere. Incense burners with fragrant incense were hung. Various flowers were scattered, resembling a heavenly realm. For the sake of the youth Sonam Tob's enjoyment, various sons of the gods, by the command of Indra, conjured up a heavenly palace made of four kinds of jewels, possessing various forms, in that garden. Then, those people were amazed and respectfully exerted themselves, without hesitation inviting the youth Sonam Tob to ascend the heavenly lion throne, and with great respect, they enthroned him with the wealth of kingship. As soon as he was enthroned, a light emanated from the youth's body that obscured even the light of the sun's orb, and such a light spread in a circle of one yojana, so his name changed from before and became King Illuminator. There, some knew him as King Sonam Tob. Some knew him as King Illuminator. Then, King Sonam Tob, together with the wealth of gods and humans, went to the surroundings of the king's palace. Indra and the other gods also properly honored that king and then departed. King Sonam Tob also ruled the kingdom in that king's palace, making that place full of wealth, prosperity, and happiness everywhere.
