Because there are practitioners on this mountain that eats sweet fruit, let's stay here. When the prince arrived there, all the birds, beasts, and wild animals living on the mountain were happy and welcomed the prince. At that time, a monk named Achuta, who was five hundred years old and possessed excellent qualities, was living on that mountain. The prince went to him, prostrated, and said: Which direction of this mountain has springs and good fruits, suitable for living? Achuta said: This mountain is a blessed land everywhere, so you can live anywhere. Because this is a secluded and pure place. Did you, Prince, come to study the Dharma with your children and wife? Before the prince could speak, Queen Mante said: Venerable, how long have you been practicing on this mountain? The monk said: It has been about four or five hundred years since I came to this mountain. The queen said: If you still cling to the distinction between "I" and "mine," when will you attain the path? Even if you stay on the mountain forever, if you don't cling to "I" and "mine," what difference is there between you and stones and wood? Only then will you attain the path. The monk said: I do not know such a correct principle. The prince said to the monk: Venerable, have you heard of the prince of Yawa, the crown prince named Dondrup? He said: I have often heard of him, but I have not seen him. The prince said: I am him. The monk asked: Where are you going? The prince said: I desire the path of the Mahayana. The monk said: You will soon attain the path of the Mahayana. At that time, please let me be your attendant, the best of those with miraculous powers. Having said that, he led the prince and pointed out the place to live. After that, the monk braided the prince's hair according to the Dharma, untied the bun, ate the fruits of the trees, and drank spring water. The prince gathered wood and grass, and built a small grass hut for himself, and also built a grass hut for Mante and her children. At that time, the boy's name was Yari, seven years old, able to dress himself, and followed his father. The girl's name was Genoyan, six years old, wearing animal skin.

His belly was big. His buttocks protruded. His legs were bent. His head was bald and had no hair. He was as ugly as a demon. The wife also did not want to see him and often cursed him, saying that it would be easy to die. Another time, the wife went to fetch water. On the way, she met a group of young husbands, and those husbands mocked her, saying, is this what a family looks like? Saying that you are so beautiful, how can you marry such a person? The wife said to those husbands like this. The old man's head is as white as moss growing on a tree. He would rather die at night, but he cannot die, what should he do? Then she took the water pot and went home. She said to her husband, I went to fetch water.
