བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གདོད་དགའ་སྟེ། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་གི་ཁྱོན་དཔག་ཚད་བདུན་སྟོང་ལས་མེད་ན། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདིས་ནི་བདག་རེ་བ་ འོང་མི་ནུས་ན། འདི་ལྟ་བུ་སུ་ཡིན་སྙམ་དུ་ལངས་ནས་བསུས་ཏེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཁྲི་ལ་བཞག་ཅིང་ཁ་ཟས་སྣ་ཚོགས་བྱིན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་ཇི་ལྟར་འོང་བ་དྲིས་པ་དང་། འཛམ་གླིང་གི་མི་རྣམས་དབུལ་ཞིང་ཕོངས་པས་སྡིག་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་བྱས་ནས་ཚེ་འཕོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ངན་སོང་དུ་ལྷུང་བ་དེ་ལ་བདག་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བས་ལམ་རིང་པོའི་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་དང་བསྡོས་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་སློང་དུ་འོངས་སོ། །ནོར་བུ་དེས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་ཕན་གདགས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས་མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་འཚལ་གྱིས་བདག་གི་ཡིད་དང་མི་འགལ་བར་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྙེད་དཀའ་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་འདིའི་ཕྱིར་འོངས་ན་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་འདུག་སྟེ། བདག་གི་མཆོད་པ་བཞེས་ཤིང་ཆོས་བསྟན་ན་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྦྱིན་ནོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཀྱང་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱ་བར་སྨྲས་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཉིན་གཅིག་བཞིན་ཁ་ཟས་རོ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཕུལ་ཞིང་རོལ་མོས་ཀྱང་མཆོད། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་དེ་ལ་དྲན་པ་ཉེ་བར་བཞག་པའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྟན་ནས་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བར་ཆས་པ་ན། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དགའ་ཞིང་གཙུག་གི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀྲོལ་ཏེ་ཕུལ་ནས། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱོད་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་ན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཉེ་གནས་མཆོག་ཏུ་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །ནོར་བུ་འདི་ལ་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཅི་ཡོད་ཅེས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་དྲིས་པ་ན། འདིས་དཔག་ཚད་ཉིས་སྟོང་དུ་དགོས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་ སྐོང་ངོ་སྙམ་ནས། སྔ་ཕྱིར་རྙེད་པའི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་གསུམ་གོས་ཀྱི་མཐར་བཅིང་སྟེ་སྒོར་ཕྱུང་བ་དང་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་འཁོར་བཅས་ཀྱིས་བསྐྱལ་ལོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཕ་ཟད་ཅིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྣམས་ལག་པར་ཐོགས་ཏེ། སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པ། འདི་རྣམས་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡང་དག་པ་ཡིན་ན། བདག་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕུར་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕུར་ཏེ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གེགས་ལས་ཐར་ནས་ངོགས་སུ་ཕྱིན་ཅིང་། དེ་ན་ཅུང་ཟད་ངལ་བསོ་ཞིང་གཉིད་ལོག་པའི་ཚེ། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཀླུ་ཕྲན་རྣམས་བགྲོས་ནས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་ན་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་གསུམ་ལས་མེད་དེ་སུམ་ཆར་མི་འདིས་ཁྱེར་ན། འདི་ཕྱིར་བརྐུའོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བརྐུས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སད་ནས་བལྟས་པས་ནོར་བུ་མེད་པར་མཐོང་སྟེ། འདི་ནི་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཀླུས་བརྐུས་ཀྱིས། བདག་གི་མཐུ་ཅི་ཡོད་པས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་བཅུས་ཏེ་བསྐམ་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས། ནོར་བུ་ཕྱིར་མ་ཐོབ་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ལག་པ་སྟོང་པར་ཕྱིར་མི་འགྲོ་བར་ཡི་དམ་བཅས་ཤིང་། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ངོགས་སུ་སོང་སྟེ་རུས་སྦལ་གྱི་ཁོག་པ་ཞིག་བླངས་ནས་ལག་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་བཅུས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷས་དེའི་བསམ་པ་ཤེས་ནས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སོ། །རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་ནི་གཏིང་ཟབ་ཅིང་ཡངས་ཏེ། དཔག་ཚད་སྟོང་ཕྲག་སུམ་བརྒྱ་སུམ་ཅུ་ཡོད་པས། འཛམ་གླིང་གི་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་མཚོ་བསྐམ་མི་ནུས་ན་ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུས་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨྲོས་ཏེ་དོན་མེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། མི་གཅིག་གིས་སྙིང་ནས་ ལས་བྱས་ན་ཅི་ཡང་མི་འགྲུབ་པ་མེད་དོ། །བདག་གིས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྙེད་པས་འགྲོ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཕན་བདེ་བྱ་སྙམ་ཞིང་། དེའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས་འཚང་རྒྱ་བར་འདོད་དེ། དེ་ལ་སེམས་མ་ཞུམ་ན། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་བསྐམ་པར་མི་ནུས་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ལྷ་ཁྱབ་འཇུག་ལ་སོགས་པས་རྒྱང་མ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གཅིག་པུས། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་བཅུས་ཏེ་འགྲོ་བ་མང་པོའི་དོན་དུ་དཀའ་བ་བྱེད་པ་མཐོང་ནས། གཅིག་ནས་གཅིག་ཏུ་སྦྲན་པས་ཐམས་ཅད་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་གན་དུ་ལྷགས་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྣོད་ཀྱིས་ཆུ་བཅུ་བ་མཐོང་ནས་ལྷ་དེ་དག་སོ་སོས་ལྷའི་གོས་ཕུད་པ་ཆུར་སྨྱུགས་ཏེ། ལན་གཅིག་ཕྱིར་ཕྱུང་བས། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་དཔག་ཚད་བཞི་བཅུར་འགྲིབ་བོ། །ཡང་ལན་གཉིས་སྨྱུགས་པས་དཔག་ཚད་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་འགྲིབ་བོ། །ལན་གསུམ་སྨྱུགས་པས་དཔག་ཚད་བརྒྱ་ཉི་ཤུ་འགྲིབ་པས་ཀླུ་དེ་དག་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་དྲུང་དུ་ལྷགས་ཏེ། ཐོངས་ཤིག་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་སྐམས་པར་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་བརྩོན་པ་དེ་བཏང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་ཅི་ཞིག་ཏུ་དགོས། བདག་གིས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཕན་པའི་དོན་དུ་དགོས་སོ། །ཀླུས་སྨྲས། སེམས་ཅན་ལ་ཕན་པའི་དོན་དུ་དགོས་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ནང་ན་ཡང་སེམས་ཅན་མང་དུ་ཡོད་ན་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་བསྐུར། སྨྲས་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ནང་ན་གནས་པ་ཡང་སེམས་ཅན་ཡིན་མོད་ཀྱི་དེ་ལ་ཕོངས་པའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མེད་དེ། འཛམ་གླིང་གི་མི་རྣམས་ནོར་གྱི་ཕྱིར་གཅིག་ལ་གཅི

菩萨最初欢喜，如果赡部洲的范围只有七千由旬，那么这颗宝珠不能满足我的期望。心想这是谁呀，起身迎接，安置在珍宝之座上，并给予各种食物。然后询问是如何来的。回答说：赡部洲的人们贫穷困苦，造作各种罪业，死后立即堕入恶道，我对此心怀慈悲，不惜长途跋涉的辛劳，前来向您这位大国王乞求如意宝珠。希望这颗宝珠以利益众生的福德，能够迅速成佛，请您不要违背我的意愿，赐予宝珠。龙王说道：如意宝珠非常难得，您既然为此而来，那就住一个月吧，接受我的供养并宣讲佛法，我就赐予宝珠。菩萨也答应照办，于是龙王每天都供养一百种味道的食物，并以音乐供养。菩萨在一个月内向他讲述了忆念正法的各种法门，准备离开时，龙王非常高兴，解下头顶的宝珠献上，并祈愿道：伟丈夫，您成佛时，愿我成为您最亲近的侍者。菩萨问龙王这颗宝珠有什么威力，龙王回答说：这颗宝珠能像下雨一样满足方圆两千由旬内的一切需求。菩萨心想，于是将先前和后来得到的三个宝珠系在衣角上，走出宫殿，龙王及其眷属都来送行。之后，菩萨走了一段路，拿起宝珠，发愿道：如果这些是真正的如意宝珠，愿我能飞向天空。话音刚落，便飞向天空，脱离了海洋的阻碍，到达岸边。在那里稍作休息，睡着的时候，海中的小龙们商议说：这片海域只有这三颗宝珠，现在这个人拿走了三分之一，我们应该去抢回来。

The Bodhisattva was initially delighted. If the extent of Jambudvipa is only seven thousand yojanas, then this precious jewel cannot fulfill my expectations. Thinking, 'Who is this?' he rose to greet him, placed him on a throne of jewels, and offered him various foods. Then he asked how he had come. He replied, 'The people of Jambudvipa are poor and destitute, committing various sins, and immediately fall into the lower realms after death. Out of compassion for them, I have endured the hardships of a long journey to request the wish-fulfilling jewel from you, the great king. May this jewel, through the merit of benefiting sentient beings, quickly attain Buddhahood. Please grant me the jewel without contradicting my wish.' The Dragon King said, 'The wish-fulfilling jewel is very rare. Since you have come for this purpose, stay for a month, accept my offerings, and teach the Dharma, and I will grant you the jewel.' The Bodhisattva agreed to do so. The Dragon King offered various foods with a hundred flavors every day and also made offerings with music. The Bodhisattva taught him various aspects of mindfulness of the Dharma for a month. When he prepared to leave, the Dragon King was very pleased, removed the jewel from the top of his head, offered it, and prayed, 'Great man, when you attain Buddhahood, may I become your closest attendant.' The Bodhisattva asked the Dragon King what power this jewel had. The Dragon King replied, 'This jewel can fulfill all needs within a radius of two thousand yojanas like rain.' Thinking this, the Bodhisattva tied the three precious jewels he had obtained earlier and later to the hem of his garment and left the palace. The Dragon King and his retinue came to see him off. After the Bodhisattva had walked a certain distance, he took the jewels in his hand and made a prayer: 'If these are truly wish-fulfilling jewels, may I fly into the sky.' As soon as he spoke, he flew into the sky, escaped the obstacle of the ocean, and reached the shore. There he rested a little and fell asleep. At that time, the small dragons in the sea discussed, 'There are only these three jewels in this ocean, and now this person has taken one-third of them. We should go and snatch them back.'

于是，龙族们偷走了宝珠。菩萨醒来一看，发现宝珠不见了，心想：这一定是海里的龙偷走了。我有什么能力呢？我要把海水舀干。于是发誓，在没有拿回宝珠之前，绝不空手而回。他来到海边，拿起一个乌龟壳，双手舀海水。这时，海神知道了他的想法，说道：这片大海深广无垠，有三十三万由旬（yojana），整个赡部洲（Jambudvipa）的人都无法舀干，更何况你一个人，这是徒劳的。菩萨说道：只要一个人真心 去做，没有什么不能成功的。我得到宝珠后，想让所有众生受益，想用这功德来成佛。只要我不灰心，为什么不能舀干这片大海呢？这时，遍入天（Vishnu）等众神从远处看到菩萨独自一人舀海水，为了众多众生而努力，他们互相告知，都来到菩萨面前。看到菩萨用器皿舀水，众神各自脱下天衣，浸入水中，然后取出，这样一次就减少了四十由旬（yojana）的海水。再次浸入，又减少了八十由旬（yojana）。第三次浸入，减少了一百二十由旬（yojana），龙族们惊恐万分，来到菩萨面前，说道：饶了我们吧，不要把海水舀干了！菩萨这才停止了努力。之后，龙族们问菩萨：您要这颗宝珠做什么？菩萨说：我要用它来利益所有众生。龙族说：如果为了利益众生，海里也有很多众生，为什么要舍弃它们呢？菩萨说：住在海里的也是众生，但它们没有贫困的痛苦，而赡部洲（Jambudvipa）的人们为了钱财

Then, the nagas stole the jewel. The Bodhisattva woke up and saw that the jewel was gone, and thought: This must have been stolen by the nagas of the sea. What power do I have? I will scoop up the sea water and dry it up. So he vowed that he would not return empty-handed until he got the jewel back. He went to the seashore, picked up a turtle shell, and scooped up the sea water with both hands. Then, the sea god knew his thoughts and said: This sea is deep and wide, with three hundred and thirty thousand yojanas. All the people of Jambudvipa cannot dry up the sea, let alone you alone, it is useless. The Bodhisattva said: If one person is sincere in doing things, nothing is impossible. After I get the jewel, I want to benefit all beings, and I want to use this merit to become a Buddha. As long as I don't lose heart, why can't I dry up this sea? At this time, the gods such as Vishnu saw from a distance that the Bodhisattva was scooping up sea water alone and working hard for the sake of many beings. They told each other and came to the Bodhisattva. Seeing the Bodhisattva scooping water with a vessel, the gods each took off their heavenly clothes, dipped them in the water, and then took them out, thus reducing the sea water by forty yojanas at a time. Immersed again, another eighty yojanas were reduced. The third immersion reduced one hundred and twenty yojanas, and the nagas were terrified and came to the Bodhisattva and said: Forgive us, don't dry up the sea! The Bodhisattva then stopped his efforts. After that, the nagas asked the Bodhisattva: What do you want this jewel for? The Bodhisattva said: I want to use it to benefit all beings. The nagas said: If it is for the benefit of beings, there are also many beings in the sea, why abandon them? The Bodhisattva said: Those who live in the sea are also beings, but they do not have the suffering of poverty, while the people of Jambudvipa are for money
