It should be viewed in the extensively spoken Sutra itself. Whenever, in the time of great terror in the future, one who hears and holds this samadhi, it is as if they have made offerings to me and the Buddhas of the past, as well as the Buddhas of the future. And so on. Good Guardian, how should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva meditate on this samadhi? Good Guardian, just as I am now in front of you, teaching the Dharma in that way. Good Guardian, a Bodhisattva should view the body of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, each of the major marks of a great being, as arising from a hundred merits. The marks should also be grasped. Having grasped them, one should train in this way: Ahala, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha is so beautiful and wondrous, in the future I too shall have such a completely accomplished body. And so on, the way of directing the mind is taught, and having directed the mind in such a complete and excellent way, one should also investigate what is called 'I' and what is Bodhi, and thus generate certainty about the absence of inherent existence. The praise of benefits, etc., should be viewed extensively in the Sutra itself. In the 'Seven Hundred Prajñāpāramitā,' it says: There is a samadhi called 'Mañjuśrī's Sole Array,' and if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices that samadhi, they will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. It also says: 'Mañjuśrī's Sole Array' is a synonym for the unborn. A son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter the samadhi of 'Sole Array' must first completely inquire about the Prajñāpāramitā, and then they will enter the samadhi of 'Sole Array.' Why is that? Mañjuśrī is unborn, which is unshakeable, unshakeable, not to be shaken, inconceivable, not to be thought, immeasurable. A son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter the samadhi of 'Mañjuśrī's Sole Array' should rely on solitary bedding and delight in the absence of commotion.

Having done that, without holding any signs in mind, sit in the lotus position. There, in a non-objective manner, contemplate a Tathagata. All dharmas should also be contemplated. Whichever Tathagata is contemplated, his name should also be held. Having heard that name, focus on it, and visibly look towards the direction in which that Tathagata resides. Contemplate. If that very Tathagata is contemplated, then by contemplating him, it will be as if the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas, who have appeared in the past, future, and present, have been contemplated. Why is that? Because the Tathagata himself is one. Manjushri, how does one obtain the immeasurable qualities of a Buddha and the immeasurable fearlessness of a single Tathagata, and similarly, having obtained the Samadhi of One Arrangement, how does one know the immeasurable distinctions of the categories of Dharma through one unborn? Here, whatever is lost, and whatever is spoken by the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the Perfectly Complete Buddhas, and whatever Ananda has fully grasped, that many categories of Dharma will appear here. By cultivating the Samadhi of One Arrangement, one will abide for as long as its duration, and one will be able to teach the Dharma including the four continents. Manjushri, some Bodhisattvas may think, what is this Samadhi of One Arrangement? To them, it should be said: Properly uphold and abide in this proclamation of inconceivable qualities, and the more you properly uphold and abide, the more you will see the qualities of this Samadhi. Act without hesitation in the manner that has been shown. Thus it is said. This cannot be cultivated by those who have a view of signs. For example, if someone has a precious jewel that has not been polished, and someone else asks about its value and qualities, one would say: Know that its qualities are immeasurable. Polish it, and then you will know. Having said that, one would give the jewel to that person and have him polish it, just as one would see the qualities of the jewel. Similarly, just as the sunlight pervades everything.
