So! The Brahmin boy Good Intelligence, taking the four great donations, offered them to the Khenpo, who in turn gave the five hundred Karshapanas back to Good Intelligence. That night, Good Intelligence had ten dreams: he dreamt that he drank the great ocean, that he walked in the sky, that he held the powerful sun and moon in his hands, that the kings made him ride in a chariot, and that he rode on great rocks, along with hermits, white elephants, swans, and lions. When he awoke, he wondered who could interpret this dream. Not far from him lived a hermit with five kinds of clairvoyance, and he asked him. The hermit said, "I cannot interpret it, but go to the king's palace, Marme Den, where the Buddha Dipamkara has been invited, and he will interpret it for you." So Good Intelligence made it a point to arrive at the king's palace where the Buddha Dipamkara was on that very day. There, the king had decreed that all flowers be collected in order to make offerings to the Buddha, and when no one else could find any flowers, the girl said to the garland maker, "Give me blue utpala flowers." The garland maker said, "The king has collected all the flowers." The girl said, "Look at that flower pond, and by my merit, it may be possible to find flowers other than blue utpala flowers." There, through the power of Good Intelligence's merit, she saw that there were seven blue utpala flowers, and the girl said to him, "Pick these." The garland maker said, "The king will accuse me, it is not right to pick them." The girl said, "Didn't you offer all the flowers to the king before?" He said, "I did." The girl said, "These are due to my merit, pick them and give them to me." He said, "How can I take these away without the king noticing?" The girl said, "These have come from my merit, pick them, and I will carry them in a water pot." Then the garland maker picked them and gave them to the girl, who took the flowers, put them in the water pot, carried them away, and went to the city. There, Good Intelligence, in order to make offerings to the Buddha,

He circled around the houses connected by flower garlands and the monasteries, searching for flowers, but couldn't find a single one. Returning again, when he went to the garden, he met the girl who came out of that garden. There, through the merit of Good Wisdom, he saw those Utpala flowers rising up from inside the water pot. Then he said to that girl: I will give you five hundred Karshapanas (Sanskrit Devanagari: कर्षपण, Sanskrit Romanization: karṣāpaṇa, Chinese literal meaning: an ancient Indian currency unit), give me these Utpala flowers. The girl said: At that time you didn't marry me, now you want Utpala flowers? I am not poor, and what can these things do? Good Wisdom said: I will offer them to the Buddha. The girl said: I will not take Karshapanas, with the result of offering these Utpala flowers to you, I wish to become your wife in all lifetimes, if you pray like that, I will not be poor. Good Wisdom said: I like giving, my wife, son, and even my own flesh can be given away. The girl said: If I can get that wish, I will not hinder you from giving in the future, whatever you want, I will also give. After saying that, she gave five Utpala flowers, two I will use to offer to the Buddha, may I always be a wife who is in harmony with you and practices the Dharma together when you practice the Bodhisattva conduct. Then that king cleaned the entire city and decorated it with various ornaments, the king himself holding a hundred-spoked umbrella, along with the ministers, the king being the son of a wealthy family, together with the ministers, welcomed the Buddha, paid homage and requested the Buddha to enter the city. The Blessed One, leading the monks and the Sangha, proceeded towards that city. When the Buddha placed his foot on the threshold of the city gate, the great earth shook in six ways, and there was a rain of divine flowers and incense, the deaf, blind, and insane regained their senses, those who were imprisoned and those suffering from the pain of childbirth, etc., were all liberated from all suffering, and everything turned into loving-kindness, horses, elephants, birds, etc., were all happy.

Sounds and other various wonderful phenomena arose from the Dharma nature of all Buddhas. The wise one, the intelligence, and that daughter also carried lotuses, to where the Buddha Dipamkara was, but it was filled with so many people making offerings that they could not reach the presence of the Bhagavan. At that time, that Buddha thought, "The merit of the Brahmin boy Good Intelligence is far greater than these ordinary people." So he conjured up a fierce rainstorm, creating space for those people. Good Intelligence got the opportunity and saw the Bhagavan, unable to take his eyes off him, and great joy arose. As soon as he offered the five utpala flowers, by the power of the Buddha, those flowers became as large as chariot wheels, forming a canopy, staying on top of his head, going when he went, and staying when he stayed. The daughter saw this and was happy, offering two utpala flowers to the Buddha's body, and those two flowers also became a canopy as large as chariot wheels, staying above the ears. Those places were turned into mud by the fierce rainstorm. The Brahmin boy Good Intelligence spread his golden hair in front of the Bhagavan, saying, "O Awakener of Wisdom, if I attain enlightenment, please quickly tread on my hair with your two feet that eliminate the joy of birth." Having said this, the Buddha Dipamkara placed his two feet on the hair of the Brahmin boy Good Intelligence. At that time, the Brahmin boy Intelligence, who was following behind Good Intelligence, became angry and said, "Look, the Buddha Dipamkara is treading on the hair of the Brahmin boy Good Intelligence as if he were treating livestock!" The Buddha Dipamkara looked back and said to the attendant monks, "Do not tread on his hair, this person is one who has planted roots of virtue for countless Buddhas." Then, the Tathagata Dipamkara said to the Brahmin boy, "In the future, after countless eons have passed, you will become the lamp of beings in the three realms in this Saha world, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha."
