Thinking, what method is there to enter? I wondered what fault of offering prevents such entry. Because the Buddha and the Sangha eat at the proper time, I wondered if it was because it was uncertain when the food would be finished, so they could not enter here? Then, that Brahmin arose early in the morning, surrounded by many Brahmins and Brahmin women, riding in a chariot of a white mare, and went before the Tathagata. Seeing the Tathagata sitting under a tree, very beautiful and with subdued senses, he thought: I was wrong to think of the Tathagata as just a monk. This Bhagavan is excellent! I should offer him excellent food and clothing, etc. Then, bowing to the Tathagata, he spoke his name three times. O Bhagavan, I confess the fault of having regarded you as just a monk. O Bhagavan, I will attend to the Sangha with all necessities for as long as I live. The Bhagavan replied: The Buddha's appearance in the world is not for the sake of one person, so he will not remain until the end of his life. The Brahmin requested: Then, please allow me to make offerings for seven days. The Bhagavan did not speak, indicating permission. Then, the Brahmin Zla Dag gathered his relatives at his house and said to everyone: Please exert yourselves with whatever power and ability you have! Then, he made the courtyard water field twelve yojanas. He informed the Dragon King: I will invite the Bhagavan and his retinue, please be aware. So the Dragon King sprinkled the courtyard with scented water. Similarly, he instructed the Yakshas to prepare seats, and instructed the Gandharvas to play music. He instructed the potters to make tents. Similarly, the Nagas blew cool winds, making it cool, and also decorated with jewels and pearls. There the Bhagavan and his retinue sat on the seats, and the gods rained down heavenly incense and flowers, and the Gandharvas played music. At that time, by the miraculous power of the Tathagata, the courtyard became a hundred yojanas, surrounded by a lapis lazuli wall, and decorated with crystal railings. There were various kinds of food

Covered with virtuous deeds, it was doubly covered with wish-fulfilling silk. At that time, from the sun and moon to the sons of the gods at the edge of the Chakravada Mountain, those with power and splendor filled that place. Then, after the meal, the Brahmin Moon requested the Bhagavan: "I will give this offering to all sentient beings, and with this root of virtue, may all sentient beings attain unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment." When he made this request, the Bhagavan smiled, and from the sun and moon to the gods at the edge of the Chakravada Mountain, it was filled with pure golden light. Then the Brahmin Moon requested: "Bhagavan, as far as the light emitted by the Bhagavan reaches, all sentient beings who are touched by it have developed unwavering faith in the Bhagavan. Bhagavan, whatever the ripening of this root of virtue is, I will give it to all sentient beings. Bhagavan, what is the cause and condition of this smile?" The Buddha said: "Brahmin, all those sentient beings who are reached by this light will never turn back from the path of unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment, and they will all attain enlightenment in pure Buddha-fields, benefit sentient beings, and completely enter into Nirvana. They have all planted the seeds of enlightenment." Having said this, the Buddha and his retinue rose from their seats and departed. In this way, in order to prophesy those sentient beings, the Tathagata honored and revered him for seven days. Even though the Tathagata did not give me a prophecy, I was not discouraged, nor did I think that I would not attain unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, in the past, when the Bhagavan himself became a Bodhisattva named Youthful Conduct, the Tathagata Great Aggregate taught the Bodhisattva Pitaka, the path of enlightenment, and that Buddha, together with the Shravaka Sangha, served extensively with all necessities for ninety-six billion years, and made aspirations for unsurpassed enlightenment, but did not receive a prophecy of Buddhahood. Furthermore, when the Tathagata named Jewel Limb appeared, the Chakravartin King

In that delightful place, the Blessed One transformed into a person named Merchant Wise Intelligence, explaining the path of the Bodhisattva's treasury. That merchant, with all means of comfort, served the Buddha Jewel, Dharma Jewel, and Sangha Jewel retinue for a thousand years. Although he aspired to attain the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi, he did not receive a prophecy. Later, the Buddha Dīpaṃkara prophesied him. Furthermore, in the past, countless eons ago, during the time of the Tathagata named Boundless Perseverance, the Blessed One transformed into a Brahmin girl named Boundless Wisdom. When that Buddha was expounding his immeasurable Buddha-fields, she made offerings to that Buddha and vowed that her own Buddha-field would become just as vast, dedicating all virtuous roots to this end, without abandoning diligence. In order to completely purify the vast Buddha-field, she made offerings to countless billions of Buddhas, thereby purifying the vast Buddha-field and attaining Buddhahood. Now, the Blessed One, the manner in which different Buddha names are realized in each of the ten directions, and starting from the vast and inconceivable adornments of the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Amoghasiddhi, the teachings on these should be understood as explained in detail in the Ratnakuta Sutra. Moreover, in the past, when he was a caravan leader, with the wealth of the Ganges River, he built a boat bridge for the Tathagata named Chariot Fortune, along with his retinue of sixty-two thousand Arhats, and ferried them across, satisfying them with delicious food, thereby aspiring to unsurpassed perfect Bodhi. Also, when he was a great king, he offered to the Buddha named Brahma, along with his retinue of sixty-two thousand Arhats, a house made of excellent sandalwood, adorned with various ornaments, and decorated with flowers and incense, etc., and served them with food and all means of comfort for three months. Also, when he was a king, to the Sandalwood Buddha and his retinue
