The important thing is that people go to the assembly hall among the gods of the Thirty-Three on the fifteenth day to discuss the Dharma with the gods, saying: Friends, if the Buddha, the Bhagavan, appears in the world, he will be endowed with the merit of teaching the Dharma, etc. At that time, there were also King Crest Wisdom, Pervasive Wisdom, Starlight, and nine thousand other kings who went to the assembly hall of the Thirty-Three gods to discuss the Dharma with the gods. Friends, one should take the side of those who speak the Dharma, and not take the side of those who do not speak the Dharma. Likewise, one should take the side of those who speak truthfully, peacefully, truthfully, emptiness, and selflessness, and not take the side of the opposite. The Buddhas speak of emptiness, but do not speak of the individual. Friends, the Bhagavan said that the twelve internal and external sources are separate from their own nature. During the discussion, many gods spoke in a clear voice, saying: Friends, if it is emptiness, how does karma manifest? If there is no self and no self-belonging, who will be born from the manifestation of the karma of this assembly of gods? Other gods said: Friends, do not slander the Buddha's teachings! The appearance of the five omens and the rebirth of the son of the gods are what you have seen with your own eyes. Does the son of the gods seeing the lord of death cause any harm to me? No matter where we gather, we cannot completely save the son of the gods from harm. Because the god did not see me at first, and likewise did not see me from the second to the fifth. I did not see the self who wanted to die, I did not see the self who was dying and dead. There is no self and no self-belonging here, and all dharmas are empty of self or self-belonging. Therefore, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, speaks the truth. Then, King Crest Wisdom said to those nine thousand kings: Gather together! Alas, this assembly of gods is not harmonious, they do not understand or comprehend the teachings of the Tathagata. We should temporarily go to Jambudvipa (Indian subcontinent) to discuss the Dharma, if all dharmas are not empty...

我仅仅因为拥有自我和我所拥有的事物，如果想在天界殿堂里辩论佛法，那么这些天界的眷属就会陷入颠倒，对佛陀的教法产生诸多怀疑。来吧，我们到赡部洲辩论佛法吧。然后那些眷属聚集到一起， 从深处对国王托吉洛珠（智慧顶）说道：您是出生在中央地区的人，不是东方、南方、西方、北方的边地之人。您是完全通晓佛法之人。托吉洛珠对边地的国王们说道：你们暂时各自挑选东方二十五位国王，同样南方、西方、北方也各自挑选二十五位，即挑选那些聪明、博学且有智慧，不轻率，没有未经考察和错误，不急躁，能够辨别我的传承的一百位国王。那些国王们遵照命令，挑选了一百位国王。然后国王托吉洛珠与一百位国王一起，像天鹅国王一样，在天空中以神通飞升，前往雪山之王（喜马拉雅山）那里，并在那里幻化出殿堂，所有的天王们也都来了。在那里，中央幻化出国王托吉洛珠用七宝制成的宝座。国王托吉洛珠向十方顶礼后坐在宝座上，九十九位国王向他的脚顶礼后，在他的周围就坐。三十三天（忉利天）的天人们感到高兴、满意和喜悦，心想对于赡部洲的人们来说，由于显现了神圣的佛法，暂时佛法不会隐没，于是降下天界的曼陀罗花雨，并坐下来听法。然后国王托吉洛珠对另一位国王的使者说道：朋友，在这雪山之王的顶峰中央，住着一位名叫正士善慧（贤善智慧）的人，请你邀请他，让他看到这些聚集的国王眷属。说完，他立刻以神通前往那位正士那里，顶礼后传达了信息。那位正士听到如来持地（释迦牟尼佛）完全涅槃的声音，流下了眼泪。

Because I only possess self and what I own, if I wish to debate the Dharma in the heavenly palace, these heavenly retinues will become confused and have many doubts about the Buddha's teachings. Come, let us debate the Dharma in Jambudvipa. Then those retinues gathered together, From the depths, they spoke to King Toki Lodro (Wisdom Peak): You are born in the central region, not in the borderlands of the East, South, West, and North. You are one who fully understands the Dharma. Toki Lodro said to the kings of the borderlands: For now, each of you select twenty-five kings from the East, and likewise, twenty-five each from the South, West, and North, that is, select one hundred kings who are intelligent, learned, and wise, not rash, without unexamined thoughts and errors, not hasty, and able to distinguish my lineage. Those kings obeyed the command and selected one hundred kings. Then King Toki Lodro, together with one hundred kings, like a swan king, ascended into the sky with magical powers and went to the King of Snow Mountains (Himalayas), and there they manifested a palace, and all the heavenly kings also came. There, in the center, King Toki Lodro manifested a throne made of seven precious jewels. King Toki Lodro prostrated to the ten directions and sat on the throne, and ninety-nine kings prostrated to his feet and sat around him. The gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens (Trayastrimsa) were happy, satisfied, and joyful, thinking that for the people of Jambudvipa, because the sacred Dharma has manifested, the Dharma will not disappear for a while, so they rained down heavenly Mandarava flowers and sat down to listen to the Dharma. Then King Toki Lodro said to another king's messenger: Friend, in the center of the peak of this King of Snow Mountains, there dwells a Rishi named Gewai Lodro (Virtuous Wisdom), please invite him and let him see these assembled king retinues. Having said that, he immediately went to that Rishi with magical powers, prostrated, and conveyed the message. That Rishi, hearing the sound of the Tathagata Earth Holder (Shakyamuni Buddha) passing completely into Nirvana, shed tears.
