When he became Urva, the sage with five supernatural powers, with powerful splendor, by abstaining from killing, grasped the path to the heavens. He heard that whoever grasps the path to the cessation of afflictions grasps the path to omniscience. Having heard this, I thought that knowing the path to all is the best and most excellent. The cause of accomplishing the path to all is karma, and the cause of karma is affliction. Its cause depends on improper attention. Thus, karma accomplishes the basis of maturation. Knowing that if there are no afflictions, one can attain the cessation of karma and the aggregates of maturation, he led many people onto that path. With that root of virtue, he thoroughly understood the knowledge of all dharmas. First, the place of crafts, then medicine, the Veda of life, and for the purpose of accumulating resources to make beings free from disease, he proclaimed the doctrine of terminology. For the purpose of accumulating one's own resources, and for truly protecting them, he proclaimed the treatise on archery. After that, in order to accomplish what is to be done, he proclaimed the treatise on astrology. Then, in order to avert suffering and attain happiness, he proclaimed the wisdom of liberation. Furthermore, in order to eliminate the suffering of beings, he also proclaimed the place of crafts, and various kinds of workplaces, knowing the three times, grammar, knowing signs, and various kinds of examinations. Moreover, when the king sage became known as Siddhartha, the one who understands existence, he knew all the distinctions of the feeler and formations, etc., knew good and evil, knew what was done, learned and became proficient in worldly crafts and all workplaces, he thought: By learning which craft can one be without birth, destruction, death, and displeasure? As he pondered in this way, he did not find any craft, these actions are like the vessels of a potter, and he also knew that beings neither exist nor are without death. Thinking that if beings do not manifestly gather, there is no death and birth, he attained such samadhi, and abiding in equanimity, he remembered the different bodies of beings, and remembered the different self-identities of each of the beings as numerous as the fine dust of the fields.

No. Also remembering by what causes and conditions it was accomplished in that way? Thinking, from where can one obtain the knowledge that does not allow the nature of self to be manifestly accomplished? Knowing that there is nothing other than not manifestly accumulating, and that it is accomplished in that way by ignorance and craving manifestly accumulating. And realizing that without that, existence is not accomplished, therefore the wise ones thus generate the light of wisdom, and it is seen that they become irreversible. Furthermore, when a dancer's daughter named "Courageous Woman of Beings" was born as one who was supremely beautiful and skilled in dance and song, many people gathered to her, and one who captivated the eyes with gazing, in the midst of the assembly, with the melody of verses such as "These youthful days pass like the water of a mountain stream," taught the Dharma, and in that way, established many beings in benefit and happiness. Furthermore, having become a magician named "Various Crafts," in front of many people, he displayed various forms of magical crafts, and taught that all phenomena are like illusions, thus accomplishing the benefit of many sentient beings. Furthermore, one named "Gandharva Known by All Beings," with the appearance of producing hundreds of thousands of musical sounds from a single string of a lute, making the assembly of beings happy, went alone to a solitary place, and thought, "These beings are deceived by the sound of the lute, but they do not know that this sound is of the nature of cessation." Thus, by properly examining it, by knowing the appearance and seeing it, he obtained the forbearance of realization, and thus, by teaching the Dharma, he placed many beings on the irreversible ground. Furthermore, in a previous life, there was a blacksmith living in a rocky mountain, and he had a beautiful daughter. He vowed not to give her away for the sake of lineage, beauty, or wealth, but only to someone equal to him in skill. A Brahmin boy went to their house to beg for food, and the girl, carrying food, asked, "Have you given it to others or not?" He said, "My father says that he will give it to someone equal to or better than me in skill, so it is difficult to give it to anyone." How does your father know the skill? He said, "He also knows how to float a needle on water." The Brahmin boy thought, "Although I do not seek this girl, I will break her pride." So he borrowed the blacksmith's tools and made a large iro

Even if you put in seven thin needles, they would float on the water like that. Then he went to that blacksmith's house and asked who wanted to buy needles. That girl said, "Are you crazy, or without brains? Why sell needles at a blacksmith's house?" He said, "I'm not crazy or anything, but I want to show how I accomplish my work." The girl said, "What kind of craft do you know?" He said, "I know how needles float on water." She called him inside and put water. From one to seven needles would float, and even a thick needle would float. Even if you put seven needles into her eyes, they would float on the water. That blacksmith thought, "This person is much better at crafts than I am." Although he adorned that girl with all the jewels and gave her to him, that Brahmin's son said, "I don't seek this for that purpose, I only showed the craft to break your arrogance." Then he did not marry that girl. The blacksmith at that time was Bhagavan (the Blessed One), the other blacksmith was the wandering ascetic Mogalla, and that girl was the incomparable mother. The Blessed One said, "Even now, she would not accept this even if it were offered." Moreover, a person named Blacksmith Good Understanding, was born as someone who was skilled in blacksmithing and crafts, and whose fame spread in all ten directions. Moreover, a person named Weapons Blacksmith Victorious Army, when he was born as someone extremely excellent in crafts, the gods urged him with verses: "From the Infinite Thus-Gone-One, knowing that all dharmas are unborn is the most excellent of all crafts." After hearing this dharma, in that very place, he obtained forbearance towards the dharma of non-arising. Moreover, a person named King Righteous Sage Ocean of Wisdom, when he was born as someone who, through the path of outsiders, was detached from desire and had compassion for the world, he searched in the forest for what the six tastes were, for the benefit of us and others. The gods of the forest, with their palms together, said, "The tastes of the various trees are this and that." Then, by observing all the arising diseases, the mixture of wind, bile, and phlegm, he became skilled in medicine that combined their antidotes. He divided (the condition) into three: certain death, can live, and can be cured then lives, cannot be cured then dies. Even if certain death, he would alleviate the feeling of suffering.
