He used his supernormal powers to observe and calculate the number of leaves on the tree, and after twelve years and seven days, he knew everything. At that time, the Blessed One himself manifested as a sage named Blue Lotus and came here. They exchanged pleasantries with each other. The sage Light said, "Hey, Brahmin, in the human world, is there a being who can know how many leaves this king of trees has?" He said, "Yes, I can also know." Light said, "Please count them." Blue Lotus did not look at the tree, but in an instant, he entered into contemplation of the number of leaves and said: Sixty kotis of thousands, sixteen kotis surpassing, thirteen kotis of trillions, ninety-six kotis of pimpala, thirty-nine kotis of karala, thirty kotis of nayuta, eight thousand kotis of hundred thousands, ninety-two kotis of leaves.
