The house of Kalinga Kana is big. Many stones are dryers. Like this and so on. In Varanasi is Kashi. Divided by black hair. Like this and so on. Like this, many sentient beings, abandoning the attachment of desire. The Brahmin who well showed the Brahma conduct and accomplished meditation, such a person with great wisdom and courage, accomplished the benefit of sentient beings. The reason and direction are similar, the son of the king of the direction, named the boy dust, the Brahmin who led in front, turned into the story of nurturing the world and pervading the heavens, which is in the hundred items of the Sutra Pitaka. Also, in the past, when the Bodhisattva Great King became the master to whom the small kings paid homage. The country was governed according to the law, but due to the karma of sentient beings, there was no rain and drought invaded. The king thought that we did not properly manage the people according to the law, which was a mistake. So he asked the old Brahmin who led him to ask for a way to get rid of the disaster. They said that according to the Vedas, if a sacrifice is made to kill many living beings, it will rain. The king had great compassion and was displeased with the ritual of killing living beings, but in order to follow the family members, he did not speak badly and abandoned this language on other occasions. Also, they did not know that the king's mind was deep and unpredictable, and they discussed the sacrifice again. The king thought that these people rely on others and have no wisdom, and will show evil. Thinking that killing living beings pleases the gods, and that those animals will be born in heaven, this is false and extremely unreasonable, and should not be heard. But thinking of a way to do it. So pretending to be willing to sacrifice, he said: If you think of benefiting me like this, for this reason I want to perform a sacrifice of a thousand people, for this reason you should prepare the place and equipment, and know the auspicious day and good time. The leader said: In order to accomplish the wish, the king please take a bath for a while. We will prepare the sacrifice. If a thousand people are held at one time, your subjects will be unhappy.

It will cause displeasure, so be careful. The Brahmins said, "Indeed it is so." The king said, "Do not worry that the people will riot, I will definitely find a way to prevent the people from feeling displeased." Then, the king gathered the people of the city and said, "I want to perform a thousand-person sacrifice, but I cannot arbitrarily and unwillingly make anyone livestock. Therefore, from today onwards, whoever among you violates the rules and laws, my great detectives will search and investigate everywhere, and if anyone is found to harm their own race and country, they will be arrested to replace livestock, you must understand." The leaders joined their palms and said, "Lord, you are devoted to the welfare of the people, how can we oppose you? Even Brahma agrees with your actions. You are our model, and we will also agree with the wishes of the gods." Hearing these words. At that time, the king sent those trusted ministers, letting them take a grand entourage, and publicly arrest evildoers in all places. Every day, it was announced throughout the country: "For those who are upright and pure in conduct, the king will give protection. For the benefit of the people, the king wants to sacrifice with a thousand sacrifices of people as livestock, so from now on, whoever disobeys the king's orders will be tied to the sacrificial pillar and sacrificed instead of livestock." People were very afraid, gave up improper behavior, and properly observed precepts and vows. No longer hostile and fighting each other, listening to the teachings of the guru, respecting each other, sharing everything, and striving to do good, like the scene of a perfect age. At that time, the king said to those ministers who were satisfied and trusted, "I have always been thinking about protecting the people, and now they have become the objects of charity. Let the people enjoy these wealth and materials that I have accumulated for the sacrifice as they please." Just like this, charity houses were set up in all directions.
