That is the female. The one with soft fur is the male, and upon hearing this, the king was amazed. Similarly, a snake charmer showed two snakes to the king, but did not know which was male and which was female. Regarding this, Saga spoke to the great physician, and Saga laughed, saying, 'If he doesn't even understand such a simple matter, how much more so the king and ministers, who are adorned with perfect discernment and discrimination!' The great physician said, 'Do you know? It is easy: take the tip of a lamp wick or reed, wrap it with cotton or wool, and touch it to the back of the snake. The one that cannot tolerate the touch is the male, and the one that can tolerate it is the female.' Also, some merchants from the south carried sandalwood tree trunks, but did not know which was the root and which was the top. Saga said, 'If you throw it into a pond, the root will sink to the bottom.' Furthermore, the king, in order to test who was skilled at identifying jewels, hung a jewel on the banner at the top of a tower, and below the banner was a pond in which the jewel's reflection and light appeared. The king said, 'Whoever can identify this precious jewel will receive a great reward.' Other ministers entered the pond, trying to grasp the reflection, but could not obtain it. Saga said, 'Because the jewel is hung on the banner at the top of the tower, the reflection appears in the pond. One should go to the top of the tower and take the jewel from the top of the banner.' Everyone did as he said, and so everyone praised him as being clever. After that, Saga was very handsome, and six ministers saw him and wanted to seduce him with wealth, gold, silver, and so on, to meet with him, but they did not succeed. After continually striving and speaking in this way, Saga asked the great physician, 'According to the customs of your country, what is it like when a young and beautiful woman is seduced by another man?' The great physician said, 'This is the custom of everyone: men desire all women, but the woman herself must know. If the woman is wise, she cannot be seduced.' Saga said, 'Son of the king, if one were to rebuke and punish such a person, would there be no danger?' The great physician said, 'Trust me.' After that, Saga said, 'What do you use the word "na'o" for?'

Then, he made a statue of Man Chenpo out of wood, covered it with ordinary clothes, and placed it there. Saga told the six ministers that Man Chenpo was weakened by illness and that they should come secretly at a certain time without letting others know. Then, six large boxes were made and placed there. At the appointed times, those ministers came, had their hair shaved, were tied up, and placed in each box. The next day, it was proclaimed that Man Chenpo had passed away, and the queen's entourage and most of the people wept. Saga carried the six boxes to King Kyepa and said, "The divine physician Man Chenpo has passed away, and the wealth, gold, and jewels he accumulated are sealed in these boxes." The king said sadly, "He died today, and today these are offered to me." At that moment, Man Chenpo himself, adorned with flowers, came to the king from another place, bowed, and said, "O Lord, you would not even mercifully hold an umbrella, is the king going to accept reconciliation today? Even if I did not take it, you took it from my house." Saga also said, "Great King, Man Chenpo has gone from here to another world. These are his treasures, please accept them, O King. Great King, I am a widow, separated from my family, so they despise me and rob me of my property." Then, Man Chenpo also demonstrated the excellent wisdom of the ministers. When King Kyepa saw the six ministers in the boxes with their hair and beards shaved and their hands and feet curled up, he laughed and said, "Man Chenpo, whose idea was this?" He explained in detail that it was Saga's idea. The king thought, "Alas, the wisdom of a woman has tricked these ministers in this way." He was very pleased and gave her great respect. Throughout the country, the wonderful wisdom of Saga, the farmer's daughter, was proclaimed. After that, the king thought that Man Chenpo was very fortunate to have found such a wise and virtuous wife with intelligence.
