I will tell a meaningful story. He was very happy and said: Dharma is not taught without a price. To this, the young man said: Even if I give the clothes worth twenty kotis that I wear on my body, and the jewels worth forty kotis that I wear on my body, I will teach if I abandon my body from this bird's nest on the mountain. After he made such a promise, he taught a meaningful verse, and abandoned his body from the top of the mountain, and by the power of truth without being scolded or harmed, the four kings grabbed him and saw him leave safely, and praised his miracle. Furthermore, in the past, in the kingdom of King Brahma-datta in Varanasi, the Blessed One himself transformed into a householder named Suddhodana, who became able to compete with the wealth of Vaishravana. He went to the ocean to acquire wealth and fulfilled the wishes of the people. At one time, he obtained a string of extremely beautiful pearl necklaces that came from other treasure islands, and presented them as a gift to the king, who was very pleased. At that time, upon hearing the king's daughter Saraswati singing a song of beautiful words, the householder was very happy, his hair stood on end, and he returned to his home, not interested in food or anything else, only thinking about the beautiful words. He thought: Although I have obtained a large amount of jewels for twelve years, I have not obtained any jewels of beautiful words. What is the use of these stones obtained with great effort? Beautiful words are the real jewels! Thinking this, he sent a person to request the king's daughter to give alms of beautiful words. That daughter said: Beautiful words can be obtained with money. If you are willing to give up all the jewels you have acquired for twelve years, I will give alms of beautiful words. The householder very respectfully took all the jewels he had acquired for twelve years and went to the king's residence himself to listen to the beautiful words. The king said to the householder: Can beautiful words fill the earth? Wealth is something that needs to be acquired with great effort, why did you do this? If there is no food, can beautiful words be eaten? The householder said: Generating attachment and hatred

What did the great accomplished one do? He said that even filling the entire earth with precious jewels would be too little to repay the kindness of hearing the well-spoken words that eliminate faults and accomplish virtues. So he wrote those well-spoken words on golden tablets and spread them in all directions. At that time, the daughter of the king who spoke well was Shariputra himself. Furthermore, in the past, in the royal palace of the king named Four Courts, when the Blessed One himself was born as King Shibi, he ruled the kingdom according to the Dharma, gave away whatever was desired, served the sick and the helpless, and led sentient beings to practice the ten virtues, thereby increasing the heavenly realms. Indra, in order to test him, transformed into the form of a Rakshasa and sat on top of the king's palace, saying, "Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, they are of the nature of arising and ceasing." After saying this, he sat there. The king thought, "This is opening the door to Nirvana and showing the path to Bodhi!" So he folded his hands and said, "Friend, please speak the second half of that verse." The Rakshasa said, "I am hungry, if you give me warm human flesh and blood, I will speak." The king thought, "It is not right to harm others, so in order to hear the well-spoken words, he promised to give his own body." At this time, Indra said, "Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, they are of the nature of arising and ceasing. Having arisen, they cease, their quieting is bliss." The king pondered carefully and thought, "This is the door and the path to Nirvana, all Buddhas will surely arise from this." So he took up a weapon and said, "Please accept the price I pay for hearing the well-spoken words!" He gave away all the flesh of his chest and so on, but the Rakshasa was still not satisfied, so the king thought, "I will give away my entire body." For the sake of unsurpassed Bodhi, he made the aspiration, "I will give away my body." When he said this, the earth shook in six ways, and the gods rained down flowers. Then, Indra thought, "I cannot restore his body as it was before, I must moderately arouse his joy." So he asked, "When you cut your flesh like this, do you not feel any displeasure?" The Bodhisattva replied, "I do not have the slightest displeasure, but I am moved by compassion for those sentient beings born in hell and other places."
