It is said that the king gave the yaksha his beloved and unopposed son, and the yaksha miraculously cut off the child's limbs one by one and devoured them, but the king did not become displeased because he desired the Dharma. The yaksha said to the king that he was still not full, so the king gave him his beloved wife as well, and the yaksha devoured her as before. "O king, I am still not full!" The king said, "If I have given my son and wife, what else do you want?" The yaksha said: "Give me your body, and I will be satisfied." The king said, "If I give my body, how will I listen to the Dharma? First teach the Dharma, and after hearing it, I will give up my body." Then the yaksha made a vow and taught the Dharma: "From attachment arises sorrow, from attachment arises fear, from fear, liberation. If there is no sorrow, where is fear?" Hearing this verse, the king was overjoyed and said, "Do with my body as you wish." The king, unwavering in his supreme thought, realized that Indra was greatly pleased and revealed himself, took his son with his right hand and his wife with his left, returned them, and praised and extolled them. The king also said to Indra, "It is good that you have fulfilled my wish for the Dharma." Again, in the past, there was a king named Brahma-datta who acted according to the Dharma. When a virtuous queen conceived a child, she desired to hear good teachings and told the king, and the astrologers spoke of the merits of the child in the womb. The king gave a hundred thousand gold coins and searched everywhere for good teachings, but could not find them. Then, in due time, a handsome boy was born and named "Searching for Good Teachings." When he grew up, he searched for good teachings but could not find them. One day, after his father passed away, he was placed on the throne. He instructed his ministers to search for good teachings as before, and gave a hundred thousand gold coins to search throughout Jambudvipa, but still could not find them. The king was greatly distressed by hope, and the lord of the gods, knowing this, transformed the yaksha into an ugly form to test him, and sat before the king and said, "The Dharma that is well practiced should be practiced, and the Dharma that is wrongly practiced should not be practiced."

. Practicing Dharma in this world, and also being happy in the next. Hearing this, the king was very happy and said: "Secret one, please also speak that verse, I will listen." He said: "If you do as I say, I will speak later." The king said: "What to do?" The Yaksha said: "For seven days, fill the fire pit with Singding wood. If you jump into it, I will speak that verse below." Hearing this, the king was happy and said, "Let's do it like that." And announced throughout the country: "After seven days, the king will throw himself into the fire pit to listen to the wonderful words, those who want to see the miracle, come." So hundreds of thousands of beings and many gods in the sky also gathered, knowing the Bodhisattva's altruism, they gathered to see the miracle. Then the Yaksha rose into the sky and said to the Bodhisattva: "Great King, please do as you have promised." Then the king placed the young prince on the throne, asked the ministers and people for forgiveness, and reassured the people. Coming to the edge of the fire pit, he said: "In this extremely terrifying fire pit, if I jump in without fear for the sake of the Dharma, may the power of my merit manifest here as a verse of true words as cool as a lotus lake." After saying that, he jumped in, and the fire pit turned into a cool lake full of lotuses. The King of the Gods saw the king's wonderful diligence that made gods and people have faith, the Yaksha's figure disappeared, and he returned to his own form. "Practice Dharma well." And so on, he said the previous verse again, the king wrote it down, wrote it on a gold plate, and spread it throughout Jambudvipa. Thus, the king sought wonderful words, and it was the Blessed One himself. Also, in the past, when the Blessed One himself became a youth named "Seeking Dharma," all the wonderful words he heard were written, received, recited, and all remembered. Then again, while seeking Dharma in all villages and cities, a person lived in a bird's nest in the mountains, he said: "I will tell you the name of the Tathagata.
