For five kalpas between, the Bhagavan, together with his retinue, depicted (offered) with all the instruments of happiness. Those thousand sons also served for five kalpas. Among those thousand sons, this Bhagavan was reborn as a prince named Moon Banner, and when he was alone, he wondered if there was a more supreme offering than those offerings. Due to the blessing of the Buddha, the gods from the sky said, "The offering of Dharma is the most supreme among all offerings." After hearing this, he asked, "What is the offering of Dharma?" The gods said, "Go and ask the Tathagata Medicine King." As they said, he went and asked the Buddha. The Buddha taught, "Son of good family, the offering of Dharma is, whatever profound Sutra Pitaka of the Tathagata, which does not conform to all the world, is difficult to realize, is invisible, is the treasury of Bodhisattvas, enters into Dharani and Paramitas, etc., proclaims the wheel of non-retrogression, is praised by all Buddhas, such as truly holding, reciting, thinking, and retaining, is the offering of Dharma." and so on. Therefore, Prince Moon Banner obtained the forbearance that accords with the Dharma, and then offered the Bhagavan with all his clothes and jewels, and requested, "I am happy to uphold the sacred Dharma, please bless me in this way." Then he renounced, practiced diligently, and soon obtained supernormal knowledge, Dharani, and eloquence. After the Tathagata passed away, he also turned the wheel of Dharma like the Buddha, preached the Dharma for ten kalpas, and caused countless billions of sentient beings to mature. Again, in the past, when a Tathagata named Meaningful Accomplishment appeared in the world, in the teachings of that Tathagata, the Bhagavan himself was reborn as a Bhikshu named Renown Light, who was proficient in the Mahayana, and thought, "Before I obtain the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi, even if my skin, tendons, and bones are dry, and my body, flesh, and blood are completely dried up, I will not abandon this diligence." Therefore, in front of the Tathagata, he wrapped his body with a piece of cloth, smeared sesame oil, and then lit a lamp in front of the Buddha. The flames burned, burning the body.

Sapa (Sakya Pandita), the guide, self-born, pure in heart, boundless and supreme, who has abandoned faults, arrogance, and transgressions. Generate compassion for beings who have entered the wrong path. Please reveal the supreme abode that sees all. Thus, he praised with verses. ༈ Also, in the past, there was a Tathagata named Hundred Rays, and the Buddhas emanated from the rays taught the Dharma, causing countless beings to obtain forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising. His attendant was a monk named Unimpaired Eye, who became this Bhagavan (Lord). Those beings who were tamed by the emanation of the Tathagata, who were skilled in the thoughts of those beings, when the Tathagata taught the Dharma, he himself also taught the Dharma, and after hearing it, he also served. Just by serving, countless beings became irreversible from the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. ༈ Also, in the past, beyond countless eons, there was a Tathagata named Undiminished Fame, and in his teachings, the Bhagavan appeared as one called the Bodhisattva Practitioner Lama, who took an unwavering vow. The manner of his vow was as follows: As long as beings in the Buddha-field where I attain enlightenment have not become vessels for unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, I will not manifest complete enlightenment into unsurpassed Bodhi. Likewise, may all beings born in my Buddha-field quickly attain clairvoyance and completely transcend suffering through the path of bliss. May all beings born in that field abandon unwholesome dharmas and possess wholesome dharmas. May all beings be irreversible from unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. May that field be without the three lower realms and the realm of Asuras, and may there not even be the sound of suffering. May all those born in that field become those with a final existence, except for Bodhisattvas who abide by their vows. Thus, he made a firm vow. That field was also cultivated to possess these and other qualities, so at the time of attaining Buddhahood, it should also be known that that Buddha-field is completely pure, and the liberation of Buddhahood is shown. ༈ Also, in the past, he was a king named Pure Intellect, and he also served countless Buddhas, and I with
