Staying in their own homes, secluded inside, they would not allow anyone to enter. They requested, "O Bhagavan, please ensure that King Ribs-kyi Mu-khyud and others emerge from their homes and come here, so that they may not turn back from unsurpassed enlightenment and receive predictions from the Bhagavan." The Buddha Jewel Essence entered the samadhi called Accomplishing Wisdom of Concentration. From his mouth emanated blue, yellow, red, white, madder-colored, crystal, and silver-like rays of light, and he manifested as Brahma before those in the homes, saying, "Friends, arise! The Brahmin Ocean Dust has completed seven years of sacrificial offerings, and the Bhagavan is also going elsewhere. For the sake of prostrating to and serving the Bhagavan and his retinue, Arise!" Urged by Brahma, they arose and urged King Ribs-kyi Mu-khyud, and all of them arose and departed. As the king departed, the gods of the sky played music. Then, the king and the thousand sons, and all of them together, prostrated to the Bhagavan and sat down. Then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust said, "Great King, please rejoice in the offerings and services you have performed for the Bhagavan and his retinue for three months, and dedicate the merit of generosity and rejoicing to unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment." He similarly advised the thousand princes and other beings as well. Then, the Tathagata Jewel Essence thought, "This Brahmin has caused these beings to enter the stage of enlightenment and has placed them in the irreversible state. I should predict them and also show those Buddha-fields." Thus, he entered the samadhi called Unforgetting the Mind of Enlightenment and smiled. As he smiled, he illuminated immeasurable and limitless Buddha-fields with great light, and also showed King Ribs-kyi Mu-khyud and others the qualities and arrangements of the Buddha-fields. The Buddha-fields of the ten directions are beyond counting.

Those Bodhisattvas, having seen that vision, gathered to pay homage and make offerings to the Bhagavan. After offering to the Bhagavan with great Bodhisattva emanations, desiring to hear the prophecy of the Bodhisattva's aspiration, they remained before the Bhagavan. Then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust said to King Wheel Enclosure, "First, take up the description of the qualities of the Buddha-field." The king then folded his palms towards the Bhagavan and said, "Bhagavan, I strive for enlightenment, and I dedicate all the roots of virtue from making offerings to the Bhagavan, etc., to unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. I have contemplated the qualities of the Buddha-field for seven years. In the field where I attain enlightenment, may there be no sound of the three lower realms, no negativity, no death, or other sufferings. May the qualities of life, body, samadhi, and clairvoyance, etc., and the vessel and essence of the world be vast and completely pure. Please take hold of such a realm, I have made the aspiration." For details, one should look in the sutra itself; it is not elaborated here. Thus, when the causes and conditions for accomplishing such a completely pure vessel and essence realm are complete, until the aspiration is completely fulfilled, practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, when the time comes, at the foot of his own Bodhi tree, in a single instant of generating the mind of enlightenment, he attains unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment and becomes a Buddha. At that time, the light of the Buddha's body and the retinue of Shravakas, and the number of the Bodhisattva Sangha, the length of life, and the qualities of the field, etc., become such that no one other than the omniscient wisdom can count them. Then, in the fields of the ten directions, the praises of that Buddha and that Buddha-field are proclaimed, and apart from beings who abandon the Dharma or commit the five heinous crimes from elsewhere, all beings who hear my name will come to my field, and so on, making extraordinary aspirations. Then, the Tathagata Jewel Essence gave the word "Excellent" to King Wheel Enclosure, and said to the great king.

Excellent! Your aspiration is very profound. Great King, behold! From here, passing westward over hundreds of millions of Buddha-fields, there is a world called "Extremely Beautiful Like Indra," where dwells a Tathagata named "Lord of the Voice of Indra." He lives, exists, and teaches the Dharma. In that field, there is no designation of Shravakas or Pratyekabuddhas, nor is their story told; only the Great Vehicle is spoken of. All beings there are born miraculously, and there is not even the name of woman. When that Buddha passes into Nirvana and the True Dharma declines, after sixty intermediate kalpas have passed, that world will become "Mount Meru Light." There, a Tathagata will appear, named "King of Wisdom, Immeasurable Qualities." The qualities of the field are like the field of the previous Buddha. The measure of his lifespan is sixty intermediate kalpas. After he completely passes into Nirvana, the True Dharma will abide for sixteen intermediate kalpas. After the True Dharma declines, when a thousand intermediate kalpas have passed, the name of that world will become "Supreme Joy." There, a Tathagata will appear, named "Light." The qualities of the field and the measure of his lifespan are the same as the previous Buddha. When his Dharma declines, that world will become "Spoke." There, a Tathagata will appear, named "Precious Lord of Voice," who will abide for five intermediate kalpas. The qualities of the field are the same as before. After he passes into Nirvana, the True Dharma will abide for seven intermediate kalpas. After his True Dharma declines, in that Buddha-field, countless immeasurable Tathagatas will appear and completely pass into Nirvana, yet that wor- ld neither disintegrates nor forms. There, in the future, when countless kalpas, like the sands of one Ganges River, have passed, and twice as many countless kalpas as the sands of the Ganges River have arrived, that world will become "Sukhavati" (the Land of Bliss). Great King, you will attain unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment there, becoming a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, named "Amitayus" (Immeasurable Life). The king inquired: Bhagavan, the field
