Having said this, the soldiers knew his power to suppress the other side. They also thought that if they killed this prince, the king would regret it, so they returned. He arrived at an empty city, where he asked a beautiful maiden named Metok Tuwa about the situation. She said, "I am the king's daughter. In this city, about sixty yakshas have destroyed all the people and livestock. I alone, unfortunate, have been left to serve them, so you must be careful of the arrival of the yakshas." The prince also spoke of his own conduct. That girl was very fond of the prince, saying that she wanted to be taken as his wife, and he agreed. Afterwards, when the yakshas came, the prince put on armor, took up his bow and arrows, and without abandoning his compassionate heart, engaged in battle with the yakshas. By the power of his merit, even the arrows shot by the yakshas with great force could not harm him. And the arrows he shot pierced the bodies of the yakshas, causing blood to flow. Although they fought for a long time, his arrows did not run out. There, after killing most of the yakshas, the remaining yakshas paid homage to the prince, requesting him to put down his bow and saying that they would show the treasures. So they offered many treasures. There, his fame spread, and that place became prosperous. Other people from other places also came to that place. Hearing that the prince's fame had greatly increased, the king sent messengers with gold to pay homage to him. The messenger praised him, saying, "You have subdued the yakshas with great power and ruled the country, how wonderful!" The prince said, "Subduing the yakshas of the world is not so amazing. I have subdued the difficult-to-conquer yakshas of afflictions, and I want to become a victor in the city of Nirvana, to become the ruler of the Dharma King." The messengers and others also praised this. Afterwards, he installed a minister's son as the king of that city. He himself, as if summoned again by his father, became the king, becoming the Dharma of the ruler of the four continents.

He governed the kingdom well. Furthermore, in the past, when the Sugata Virtuous Maker appeared, the Blessed One himself became the great captain, the householder Dharma Nature. When he began to build a precious stupa of the Thus-gone One, the Brahmins who hated the teachings opposed it. The warrior king Empty Powerful was sent, and he threatened the Brahmins and successfully completed the householder's stupa, making aspirations to become a Buddha. Empty Powerful made aspirations to become his hearer, who was the monk Dharma Polity. Again, in the time of the Brahmin Good Intelligence, Dharma Polity became the Brahmin Good Intelligence. In the time of the Buddha Cycle Destroyer, in the noble land (India), the merchant's son Sandalwood Given, also called Horse Given, after his father went to the ocean, Horse Given was deceived by his mother's words and engaged in sexual intercourse with his mother, thus becoming husband and wife with his mother. Then, when his father returned, he was also killed by this son. Again, he went to another country and lived as husband and wife. There, an Arhat monk from his own country asked, "Is your mother well?" Suspecting that he knew, he killed him as well. One day, seeing his mother indulging in desire with a beautiful merchant's son, Horse Given killed his mother with a sword, committing three inexpiable sins, and the people, urged by the gods, drove him out of the city. He regretted it and asked many monastic communities to ordain him, but they refused, so he became angry and set fire at night, burning the monks. At that time, a Bodhisattva advised him, "You are not fit to hold the place of training, but always recite 'I prostrate to the Buddha.'" He taught that by hearing the name of the Buddha, you will be liberated at the end of time. Then, Horse Given died and was burned in hell for a very long time. Finally, after a long time, he became a huge sea monster in the ocean, a great fish-swallower with a body as large as Mount Meru. When all the merchants who went to the ocean were about to enter its mouth and had no means of escape, the merchant leader Ear Holder said, "Prostrate to the Buddha," and as they did so, the sound was heard by the divine ear of the Blessed One, who was dwelling in Victory Grove, and he contemplated it, the Buddha.
