As he said, he would give me as much wealth as possible and use mantras to ward off. So, messengers were sent to the enemy king with wealth, but they could not ward off and instead brought in the army. After that, King Nyen-den was pleased with each other's kingdoms and made the gods happy. Life is short and will eventually pass away, so know that one meal, one set of clothes, one bed, and one wife are enough. The wise do not argue with others, even if a sentient being has a mountain of gold, he will not be satisfied, but will increase his attachment to what he has gained. Friends, please consider for a moment and give up fighting. The wise should cultivate contentment, and although they later agreed, the desire could not be suppressed, so a letter came saying, if you kill me, my kingdom will be yours, and if I kill you, your kingdom will be mine. At that time, King Nyen-den thought that in whatever realm there is attachment, there will be suffering, and if there are aggregates, the requisites of sentient beings are needed, and if there are no aggregates, they are not needed. So he gave up the throne, went forth and practiced, cultivated the four Brahmaviharas, and was born in the Brahma world. Also, in the past, countless inconceivable eons ago, a Buddha named Vipashyin appeared in the world, and at the time of the manifestation of his teachings, in the place of Varanasi (ancient Indian place name, now Varanasi), there was a great, wise, upright, and supreme king, the son of the ruler of sixty small kingdoms, who was called Prince Kshanti, brave in giving and possessing great compassion. At that time, there were six ministers who were irritable, cunning, and deceitful, who harmed the innocent, and who were always jealous of the prince because of their own faults. At that time, the king was afflicted with a serious illness, and the prince asked the ministers what the condition of his father the king was, and they said that the king would soon pass away, because no good medicine could be found. The prince was very unhappy and fell to the ground. The six ministers discussed in private, the prince...

If this anger is not removed, we will never be happy. Then, one person said, "If he has no fault, how can it be removed?" Another said, "There is a way." Having said that, they went to the prince and said, "We have searched in sixty border states and eight hundred cities for medicine to keep the king alive, but we have not found it." The prince asked, "What medicine does the king need, so you couldn't find it?" The minister said, "The medicine requires the eyeballs and feet of someone who is born without knowing how to be angry. If that is not found, the king will not live." Hearing this, the prince was unhappy and thought again, and said, "I have that." The ministers said, "Even so, it is difficult to do." The prince said, "If my father can be freed from illness, even if I give up my body hundreds of thousands of times, there is nothing difficult." Then, the prince prostrated to his mother and said, "My body can be offered as medicine for the king. If you are worried that he will not live, please prostrate to my mother and do not make her unhappy." Hearing this, the mother fainted and fell to the ground. After sprinkling her with cold water, she said again, "My father will not live long, so I will make my father live." The prince also prostrated to the ministers, the small kings, and many attendants. The minister called a butcher of low birth, broke the prince's leg bones, dug out his feet, dug out his two eyeballs, pounded them with medicine, and offered them to the king, and the king's illness was cured. After the king recovered from his illness, he asked the ministers, "Where did you find such good medicine that can save lives?" They replied, "This medicine was prepared by Prince Forbearance." Hearing this, the king fainted and fell to the ground, and asked slowly, "Where is Prince Forbearance now?" He was told, "He is now outside treating his body with medicine, worried that he will not live." Hearing this, the king cried out and threw his body on the ground, saying, "I am shameless, why did I eat my son's flesh as medicine?" Having said that, he ran to his son. Before the king arrived, the prince had passed away. The king, ministers, queen, and attendants surrounded him, and the mother also threw her body on the prince's corpse, crying and lamenting. Then, the king and the small kings burned the body with sandalwood, and the bones became seven kinds of jewels.
