Showing that sound and mind are not the objects of it, and showing that it does not possess the elaboration of all objects, but is the object of individual self-awareness wisdom, if one does not know how to make these two appear as non-contradictory and of one meaning, but in all cases considers the ultimate truth as not exceeding the object of sound and mind, and only establishes it in the realm of speculation, this is what the Pramana Sutra says: If someone leads (others) into Dharma nature from the path of speculation, then he has greatly diminished the teachings of the Sage. Moreover, the Lord of Reasoning, Dharmakirti, also said that the ultimate truth is not the object of speculation, and if someone says the opposite of this, then he has distorted the meaning of the Buddha's profound teachings, what is the need to do so? However, if one is separated from the elaboration of unreal negation, then one cannot find any object of focus, so one is very afraid of this, and shows a terrified expression, and begins to refute the school of unreal non-elaboration, with the motivation of wanting to diligently establish emptiness as having an object of focus, those who want non-elaboration, first take all the scriptures and reasonings that state that sound and mind are not the object as a preliminary, and then take the scriptures and reasonings that state that sound and mind are the object, and the opponent's commitment as a harm, no matter how they establish contradiction, they will never exceed the appearance of being able to establish, because it is impossible to establish the truth of the ultimate truth as an object of focus, and exceeding the object of sound and mind, becoming the meaning of non-object and non-elaboration that has become the object of individual self-awareness, is called realizing the ultimate truth in conventional terms, the former proponents think so. The meaning of these two can be explained separately, and there is a correct reasoning to establish that the meaning is non-contradictory. Therefore, for those who think that the two truths are contradictory, the criticisms they make are like the way of answering with the ultimate door and the conventional door as mentioned in the past, and this is the same here. These seemingly able to establish refutations cannot harm the meaning of the previous school, even to the extent of shaking the tip of a hair, and the person who says so is only showing off the fruit of his wisdom that sees the meaning of the scriptures as contradictory. Therefore, this one answer alone is enough to encompass everything you say below.

Although an answer has already been given, I will offer a slight response in each area because it is difficult for those of lesser intellect to understand. Furthermore, in the debate text, it is stated: 'The sound that enters into emptiness is without conceptualization, because it is merely designated by name and conceptualization.' Therefore, it does not exist by its own characteristics. Also, it is asserted that there is realization, as stated in the Ṭīkā: 'Through the power of the Victorious One and one's own prior habits. Furthermore, when the path of the wise is seen through the means of factual strength and reasoning, it is said that one acknowledges seeing it through the mind that relies on reasons.' It is said: 'The mind that easily travels on a crooked path is wearied by wandering through wrong thoughts, ravines, and muddy swamps. Look at this vast Dharma-eye, which sees the end of samsara, nirvana, and dependent origination!' Thus, it is urged. In response, it is stated: 'This statement and the Dharma that becomes the object of mind and speech below are acknowledged as being unable to withstand scrutiny. If that is the case, emptiness would also become like that, because it is without inherent existence,' and so on. These two statements have the same scope of reasoning. To summarize the point, if something is merely designated by name and conceptualization and does not exist by its own characteristics, then if one acknowledges that emptiness cannot be realized, the sound that enters into emptiness would become without conceptualization. This is the refutation. The meaning of this is not so. Although all phenomena are merely designated by conceptualization and do not exist by their own characteristics, it is not said that if there is no designation by conceptualization and no establishment by self-nature, then one with such an object would not realize emptiness. If one examines the object, as long as there is clinging, it is said that it is not the ultimate truth. If it is expressed in words or designated as 'this' by the mind, as long as one examines that object, it cannot be scrutinized, and therefore it can be refuted, because that is the meaning. If that is the case, emptiness would also become like that, because it cannot be scrutinized, does not have its own characteristics, and is merely designated by conceptualization? If one asks in this way, if one considers emptiness to be the emptiness of non-reality and non-negation, then it is very much in accordance with what is desired, because that is what is thought, this is the answer. And you have also acknowledged that the sign is established by reason in the same way. Therefore, the conventional ultimate truth is merely a gateway to entering emptiness.
