It should be known that the nature is free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, like the eight similes of illusion. As it is said in the Compendium: "Whatever Bodhisattva understands dependent origination, knows this wisdom of no birth and no cessation, like the sun without clouds emitting rays and dispelling darkness, having destroyed the thick darkness of ignorance, one will attain self-arising." As it is said. Third, examining the result, is what is to be produced something that exists or something that does not exist? If the result inherently exists, then what is the need for a cause? The two cannot be cause and effect of each other. However, if the result does not exist, does the cause produce it? If the result itself is merely non-existent, then what is the need for a cause? Because non-existence generally has no cause, and it has already abided in the nature of non-existence. If it is said that although the cause does not produce non-existence, this cause makes the non-existence of the result into an existing thing, that is not possible. Even if hundreds of thousands of causes are gathered and effort is made, no dharma that does not exist in its own nature can be transformed into a thing itself. No matter what causes are gathered, the horns of a rabbit cannot be transformed into existence, because non-existence does not depend on anything. The reason why non-things cannot be transformed into things is also because it is not reasonable to transform without abandoning the thing of non-things, and to transform after abandoning it. Thus, in the state of non-existence, it is not a thing, because the two exist mutually exclusive. It is also impossible to abandon non-things and newly transform into things. Thus, abiding in the state of non-existence, in the time of non-existence, it is not possible for existence to exist, so it never has the opportunity to exist as a thing. If it has not been born as a thing, then it will never be separated from non-things, and as long as non-things do not abandon their own characteristics, it is never possible for things to exist, so how can non-things be transformed into things? It is not reasonable to transform. Therefore, if it is impossible for non-things themselves to be transformed into things, then saying that non-things are transformed into things is just a word. Because as long as it is a non-thing, it has completely abandoned things, and it has become that.

There is not. Even if there is no transformation, if you cling to existence, then look at these sprouts and so on, as if the son of a barren woman has been born. Just as non-things do not transform into things, things also do not transform into non-things. Because these two are mutually exclusive, the reasoning spoken in the case of non-things can also be converted here to be understood. If a thing transforms into a non-thing, then it becomes a combination of the two natures of thing and non-thing. In this way, nirvana itself is not existent, and things are not truly existent, therefore, all these beings are always unborn and unceasing in the three times. Even so, the appearance of beings with various desires is unreal, like a dream. If analyzed with reason, there is no solid essence, like a tree in water. Therefore, there is no difference between nirvana and non-nirvana itself, because there is no bondage and no liberation, and it always abides in equality. Second, the function of realizing emptiness is to maintain equanimity towards one's own eight worldly concerns, and to spontaneously generate love for others. First, since things that are empty of inherent existence, where would there be gain and loss? Similarly, where would there be being respected or insulted, happiness and suffering, joy and displeasure? If one truly seeks with reason, what things would one be attached to, and what person would one be attached to? If one observes well, how would this living world die in this world? What will happen in the next life, and what has happened in the past? Who are relatives and friends? All dharmas are like the sky, with the wisdom to examine the nature of things, If someone like me can fully comprehend, they can maintain equanimity towards the eight worldly concerns. Thus it is said. Second, like this, those beings who wish for their own happiness, because of fighting with enemies and being happy with relatives and friends, their minds are extremely agitated and happy, as well as the sadness of unfulfilled desires, striving for desires, arguing with others, cutting and piercing each other's bodies, and other many sins committed by the three doors of body, speech, and mind,
