Since it severs and does not abide by engaging in any practice, it does not abide in anything. It is not stolen by opposing factors, and the four wisdoms that know the meaning of the equality of dharmata, as well as the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment and the ten perfections, etc., all the virtuous qualities of the path and the qualities of the result, are gathered in the meaning of the practice as explained, and one knows it with one's own awareness. Since all dharmas are gathered in the mind, one abides without error in the essence of mind and meditates, and that alone is the ultimate or final destination of the path. Otherwise, no matter how one meditates, the true dharmadhatu, the luminous essence, will not be clear and will not become awareness. The eighth general meaning is the teaching of the method for realizing the definitive meaning through the method of transmission. What is the method for realizing the definitive meaning through the method of transmission? Just as one points to the moon with a finger, one indicates the unconditioned through correcting and striving. Therefore, taking the bodhicitta correctly through the means of skillful means and symbols is also what accomplishes bodhi, and therefore it is great bodhi, as the Buddha, the Bhagavan, the teacher of gods and humans, has thoroughly proclaimed. Those who do not have the fortune to realize directly should also strive for the method of realizing through transmission. Therefore, what will be explained here is the place or cause for generating and meditating on the ultimate bodhicitta itself. What is it? It is samadhi and mudra. Among these, through familiarizing oneself with the three samadhis of suchness, all-appearing, and cause, one makes them stable so that they are not stolen by opposing factors, and like the king's seal, one binds and meditates on the three mudras of the Buddha's symbols: the great body mudra, the mind samaya mudra, and the activity karma mudra. Then, one generates the nature of mind as the great dharma mudra, which is the symbol of speech, and recites and meditates on its essence. Samadhi and mudras, etc., are dharmata, and if one generates and meditates on the mind as it is, without difference, then the ultimate bodhicitta will arise from that. When meditation becomes manifest, one will realize for oneself that all dharmas are not other than one's own mind, and by meditating on it, one will accumulate merit and purify obscurations, and one will also realize it through the door of the wisdom deity blessing the continuum.
