In many places, giving life is not seen as sinful. In the Buddhist scriptures, it says: "Whichever fruit becomes small, that great sin should not be done. Small sins with great meaning, the wise should always do." Thus it was said, but out of compassion, he could not bear to kill. There, he went to the Shyaseng (Skya bseng) forest. Lodan (Blo ldan), who possessed the words of the Dharma, did not like the kingdom, and Yulkhor Sung (Yul 'khor srung) became powerless, and Tabka ('thab dka') became the king. Then, there are many stories of those who became allies of Nachen (Rna can) and Tabka ('thab dka'), and the sons of Shyaseng (Skya bseng), joining the battle. Thus, at the time of the battle, Sithub (Srid sgrub) prayed, and Khyabjuk (Khyab 'jug) himself became the charioteer of Sithub's (Srid sgrub) chariot and led him to the battlefield. There, Sithub (Srid sgrub), looking at the entire assembly of the army, the son of Kunbi (Kun pA'i) looked there, all were present as relatives, oppressed by extreme compassion, and said timidly: "Khyabjuk (Khyab 'jug), seeing the relatives, wanting to fight and being there, my body becomes timid, and my mouth also becomes completely dry." And so on, and "For whom do I desire the kingdom and the enjoyment of happiness, they abandon their lives and wealth and are here to fight with me." After saying these things, he does not fight. Seeing him unhappy, Khyabjuk (Khyab 'jug), in order to kill the evil-sounding ones, generated joy, Bumkye (Bum skyes) made the chariot of the fearful king Nachen (Rna can), and likewise, I killed other heroes of the world. Do not be unhappy in your heart, go and kill. In the battlefield, you will surely be victorious over the enemy. And, "He who makes all this victorious, know that he is imperishable. The imperishable and inexhaustible, that cannot be killed by anyone. This body will have an end, but those with bodies are said to be eternal. Because it is perishable and immeasurable, go and fight, Bharata (Bha ra ta)." For example, after throwing away old clothes, others will take new ones. Likewise, after abandoning the old body, they will take other new bodies. After saying these things, following those words, when Sithub (Srid sgrub) waged war, the lineage of Tabka ('thab dka')...

Having killed countless beings, including eighteen kinds of creatures, he became victorious in the political struggle. Fourth, the conclusion of the final chapter. The ornaments of sound and meaning shine in different ways, and the paths of easy and difficult, the merits and faults of poetry. Thus, in brief, it has been fully shown. Third, finally, in the meaning of the auspicious conclusion. Collecting the concluding meaning of the complete scripture, and the authorship of the author, and the translation colophon of the translator, there are three aspects. First, in order to accomplish the style of poetry, the path of ten qualities shown, the thirty-five ornaments of meaning, paired easy and difficult, riddles and avoiding ten faults, through the presentation of these three chapters, the faults of not combining poetry well, and the merits of combining well, any wise person with full understanding, will be immersed in the splendor of expressive language, possessing auspicious fortune, combined with perfect words, what is this like? Just like being intoxicated by wine, the beauties whose eyes can intoxicate the mind when seen, and like meeting beautiful young men and experiencing joy, these words generate joy in the heart, and the speaker of such words will gain the fame of a wise man in the world. Thus it is. The authorship is: This is the detailed division of difficulties from the Ornament of Poetry, written by the teacher Daṇḍin, which is the third chapter. The translation colophon is: This scripture was first translated into Tibetan by Shong. This Mirror of Poetry, written by Daṇḍin, adorned with excellent, immeasurable qualities, by the command of the Sakya (present-day Sakya County, Tibet) Dharma King Phakpa Rinpoche and the minister Shakya Sangpo, was perfectly translated by the Indian Khenpo, the great poet Lakṣmīkara, and the Tibetan translator Bhikṣu Shongton Dorje Gyaltsen at the Sakya (present-day Sakya County, Tibet) Monastery. Later, the Debang translator Lodro Tenpa also made some translation modifications and gave good explanations and hearings. This Debang translator said: Because of the practice in previous lives, in this life, I understand these scriptures like playing. And so on.
