Etc., all aspects of the object, this is because it is inseparable from the absence of elaboration and focuses on it. Therefore, in the face of the great Madhyamaka, there is no commitment whatsoever, because it sees appearance and emptiness as equality, in order to realize existence and non-existence, is and is not, etc., because it is free from all refutation and establishment elaborations, abiding as it is, all dharmas, commitment is not established by reason, where no commitment is made. Thus, the ultimate meaning of abiding, although there is no commitment, yet in appearance, in the two truths of the conventional and ultimate, there is commitment, but those two, if relying on the abiding of the two truths inseparable, then it is only the appearance of each. If relying on the wisdom that sees the inseparable meaning, then the two validities are also, it is a temporary place, because it is impossible to hold the two truths by one. Therefore, the two validities of the conventional and ultimate truth are wisdom, if measuring vases etc. with those two, although two entities can be obtained, but when one exists, the other does not, therefore in the mind of ordinary beings, the two truths, do not appear in a way of alternating in turn. Two commitments to measure each, are established as existing. If so, the manner of contradiction between commitment to existence and non-existence and, commitment to the two truths, as said to others above, if saying that it is equally consistent with oneself, then we have made a distinction, distinguishing between the Madhyamaka of the path of discernment and, the two Madhyamakas of the main practice of equipoise, coarse and subtle or cause and effect, or the stages of consciousness and wisdom, having distinguished the size of the Madhyamaka, because of the explanation, how can that fault be established? Therefore, in the great Madhyamaka, no commitment is one's own system, it is ultimate, in the subsequent attainment, when the two truths appear separately, all the refutations and establishments measured by the respective validities of the two truths, are in order to eliminate each and every wrong conception, it is in order to refute and establish on the nature, because there is no commitment whatsoever. On the nature, the two truths also, there is no distinction between existence and non-existence, therefore the two commitments in any case, there is no establishment as true. In both also commitment, is because of the mere appearance, and in the two stages respectively, that truth is not contradictory. Not falling into faults such as enduring examination. Things also do not endure examination, non-things also do not endure examination, ultimately the two are the same, in the stage

merely an imputation. That which exists merely by reputation, without investigation, is just an appearance, not the actual state. The wisdom that discerns the absence of truth, considers what is seen to be the actual state and ultimate truth. However, that is also dependent on the conventional truth, and if the ultimate truth depends on the final end, it is merely a designation of ultimate truth. When the actual state and appearance contradict each other, the four faults of the two truths being different will occur. If the actual state and appearance are not different from each other, the four faults of the two truths being the same will harm it. According to this principle, even Buddhas and sentient beings are merely the actual state and appearance, but to consider them as cause and effect themselves should be understood as the view of the Lesser Vehicle. Regarding whether the actual state and appearance are the same or different, since there is no acceptance, sentient beings should be able to appear as Buddhas if they are Buddhas, and the path and practice would be meaningless, as well as the acceptance of the result existing in the cause, etc. All kinds of refutations by reasoning would not exist. Whatever the actual state is, since it is obscured by obscurations, it does not appear clearly, therefore, striving on the path is what both oneself and others agree upon. Since the two truths are not contradictory, how can the two views of "exists" and "does not exist" be contradictory? Since they are not mutually the same, the forms of the two acceptances are established. Therefore, as long as the two truths with their respective appearances, the activity of the mind exists, the two are equal in strength in every way, therefore, there is no acceptance of only one extreme, saying "does not exist," determining emptiness, saying "exists," determining appearance, when measured by the two alternating valid cognitions, the meaning obtained by each, or what is seen, is called the two truths. Since the two are neither the same nor different, therefore, regarding the two, absolutely rejecting one and grasping the other is not allowed. Regarding the two, with discriminating wisdom, separating the acceptances, for example, when the ultimate Dharmakaya is attained, all minds and mental factors, are said to cease under the power of convention. In the ultimate sense, there is no cessation either. In all sutras and treatises, however many kinds of negation and affirmation there are, some acknowledge the ultimate truth, some are spoken according to the conventional truth. If only the ultimate truth is relied upon, the path, Buddhas, sentient beings, etc. could be said to be "non-existent," but if it does not depend on the conventional truth itself, it will not become merely that one, even if it is "non-existent," all appearances of samsara and nirvana, since the appearance is manifestly established, therefore, under the control of conventional valid cognition, the path, Buddhas, mind
