Although various things such as cutting off rebirth have been explained in various commentaries, they are only one-sided and not complete. These last two sentences are profound in meaning, and only here are they clearly separated and explained. Thus, it is understood that within the scope of knowable things, the only thing that can be trusted and is eternally unchanging is the Dharma. One should deeply believe that all Buddhas of the past, present, and future, including the Buddha's sons and disciples, as well as the happiness and good paths of sentient beings, all arise solely from the manifestation of the Dharma, and thereby make the aspiration to uphold the true Dharma. Because the sutras say that it also includes the immeasurable aspirations of the Buddha's sons. Therefore, after recollecting the virtues of the Dharma, now that we have encountered this precious manifestation of the true Dharma, we should rejoice and uphold the Dharma according to our ability. Regarding this, Maitreya said: Writing letters, making offerings and giving, listening, reading, and receiving, teaching and reciting, thinking and meditating. Thus, we should practice in the manner of the ten Dharma practices and strive to make life meaningful. In this way, just hearing a single verse of the "True Dharma", upholding, teaching, and thinking about its meaning, its benefits are also immeasurable and boundless, which should be widely known from the sutras. Third, the way to recollect the virtues of the Sangha: It is divided into two parts: explaining the virtues of the Sangha, and those who possess these virtues are praised as the supreme object of offering. The first part is further divided into two aspects: the complete purity of the lineage and the virtues of the supreme field of merit. First, the Mahayana Sangha, from "Mahayana Sangha" to "entering harmoniously" is explained. Among them, Sangha refers to those who cannot be separated from the path even by hundreds of millions of demons, therefore it has the name of unwavering intention, which means noble beings. Here, the Buddha's vehicle is beyond the world, therefore it is great. Or, the noble ones who abide in the vehicle with seven great aspects, restrain the continuum with the discipline of morality that is free from all forms of faults, thereby entering well; entering reasonably with the learning of the mind of samadhi that completely determines the meaning; not falling into extremes such as permanence and annihilation, liberating the continuum with the wisdom of correct view, thereby directly

Entering. All beings, without any disagreement in views, discipline, altruistic activities, etc., enter into Nirvana in harmony, which is called entering in harmony. Or, as the term "well entered" is mentioned in the summary, entering the correct path that averts all downfalls is to be well entered. This shows that outsiders do not have the correct path, so they are not well entered. In the detailed explanation, it is said to enter into reason. Reason is Nirvana. Entering into it is from the perspective of the result. The straight noble path, as the sutra says: "What is straight? The noble path." This is shown from the opposite aspect of the path. Harmony means that all who enter the noble path go to the city of Nirvana without turning back, so they are in harmony. Without disagreement is shown from the perspective of the individual who enters. Or, in sequence, from the perspective of being free from the four losses of the path: lost, mistaken, deviated, and reversed, such entering is called entering. In essence, entering the correct and unerring path that is free from the four inversions such as non-virtue is a person of pure lineage in the world. Second, the teaching from the joining of palms, etc., up to "the great purification of merit completely," is: Because it is a person of pure lineage who realizes the profound nature of reality, it is worthy of others showing respect with the gesture of joining palms, and because it is the supreme guide of beings, it is meaningful to prostrate to this person, and it is worthy of prostration. Adorning oneself with supreme qualities, it is the field of the glory of merit. Glory is the general name for good or perfect. Merit is also glory, and glory is also that. All the glory of merit arises from relying on this person, so it is called its basis. This flawless and virtuous person, even if offered with the wealth of the three thousand worlds, will not become an obstacle to oneself. Therefore, the offerings made to this person are completely used, not only without the fault of using the offerings, but also the great purification of merit that accomplishes the vast accumulation of others. In short, through reverence such as joining palms and prostrations, etc., it is worthy of taking refuge, it is the field of inexhaustible glory of benefiting others, and it will not be defiled by offerings.
