All who see that person's form and hear the sound of their voice, and whose bodies are touched by their discharge or impurity, will be liberated from the lower realms. If one recites it seven times in the ear of a dying person, or twenty-one times on the bones of a dead person, that person will be liberated from the lower realms. The possessions of the Sangha of the ten directions, even if a thousand Buddhas do not grant confession for defilement, reciting this dharani one thousand and eight times will purify it. Even crossing a pit of fire filling three thousand worlds is worth seeking this Dharma.
