罗刹和天、龙、夜叉等乃至如来都护持他们。如是说。再者，在《不退转法轮经》等中屡次宣说如下：顶礼如来、应供、正等觉释迦牟尼佛。我等之导师释迦牟尼之名号，闻者皆不退转菩提，何况向如来及其舍利塔散一花。转生为畜生者，仅闻其声，亦成无上菩提之种子，次第成佛。这是如来往昔之愿力，亦是诸佛之法性。如是说。又于五千四百五十三佛名经中：顶礼如来月光。若念诵、受持其名号，恒常不断，早起作意，则于四十千劫忆念宿世，且永不忘失菩提心。顶礼如来普净一切有情之王。若恒常忆念此名号，则于今生一切业障罪垢皆得清净究竟，且于十四百千年中忆念宿世，终至菩提之间，善根永不穷尽。顶礼如来眼普净王。达地雅塔。 匝秋匝秋嘉纳匝秋梭哈。（梵文天城体：तद्यथा। चक्षु चक्षु ज्ञान चक्षु स्वाहा।，梵文罗马拟音：Tadyathā. Cakṣu Cakṣu Jñāna Cakṣu Svāhā.，汉语字面意思：如是。眼，眼，智眼，梭哈。）若持此名，则如天人世间之眼，于四十劫忆念宿世，善根乃至菩提亦不穷尽。顶礼如来牛王香光。若念诵此名号，则其身于一百三十年中散发香气，且永不忘失菩提心。顶礼如来花吉祥。达地雅塔。 布贝布贝苏布贝梭哈。（梵文天城体：तद्यथा। पुष्पे पुष्पे सुपुष्पे स्वाहा।，梵文罗马拟音：Tadyathā. Rākṣasas and gods, nāgas, yakṣas, etc., up to the Tathāgata, protect them. Thus it is said. Furthermore, it is repeatedly stated in the Sutra of the Wheel of Non-Regression, etc., as follows: Homage to the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Śākyamuni. Those who hear the name of our teacher Śākyamuni will not regress from Bodhi, what need is there to mention scattering a single flower to the stupa of the Tathāgata and his relics? Those who are born as animals, even if they only hear the sound, will become seeds of unsurpassed Bodhi and gradually become Buddhas. This is the former aspiration of this Tathāgata and also the Dharma nature of all Buddhas. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the Sutra of the Names of Five Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Three Buddhas: Homage to the Tathāgata Moonlight. If one recites and upholds his name, constantly and continuously, and contemplates it upon rising in the morning, one will remember past lives for forty thousand kalpas and never forget the mind of Bodhi. Homage to the Tathāgata, the King Who Completely Purifies All Beings. If one constantly remembers this name, then in this present life, all karmic obscurations and sins will be completely purified and perfected, and one will remember past lives for fourteen hundred thousand years, and until Bodhi, the roots of virtue will never be exhausted. Homage to the Tathāgata, the King Who Completely Purifies the Eyes. Tadyathā. Cakṣu Cakṣu Jñāna Cakṣu Svāhā. If one holds this name, then one will become like the eye of gods and humans, and one will remember past lives for forty kalpas, and the roots of virtue will never be exhausted until Bodhi. Homage to the Tathāgata, the King of Fragrant Light of the Bull King. If one recites this name, then fragrance will emanate from his body for one hundred and thirty years, and one will never forget the mind of Bodhi. Homage to the Tathāgata Flower Auspiciousness. I prostrate to the Bhagavan, Shakyamuni. I prostrate to the Bhagavan, the one who gathers and holds all dharmas. I prostrate to the one who transcends expression and thought. I prostrate to the one who is incomparable. I prostrate to the limitless dharma. I prostrate to the one who is difficult to comprehend. I prostrate to the power of the power that abides in strength. I prostrate to the ten fearless powers. I prostrate to the lord of the three realms. I prostrate to the great teacher who guides all. I prostrate to the one who cuts all bonds. I prostrate to the one who has reached the end of the far shore. I prostrate to the one who has already transcended all worlds. I prostrate to the one who is completely separated from the stream of samsara. I prostrate to the liberation of samadhi. I prostrate to the one who is without object like space. I prostrate to the king of dharma among many. I prostrate to the one who destroys the hosts of the four maras. I prostrate to the great loving one like a father to his only child. May one always see the face of the Buddha, no matter where one dies and is reborn in lifetime after lifetime, and may one realize the nature of the Buddha and reach great nirvana. By these, may those beings whose root vows have completely deteriorated and who are confused by afflictions be liberated, and may they accomplish benefit and happiness, immeasurable merit, and perfect enjoyment, and may they also directly realize the nature of the Buddha. Thus it is said. Furthermore, at the time of death, some virtuous friends recite the names of the Three Jewels three times: Namo Buddhaya.
