། །此之名号受持者，将从一切烦恼中解脱。于获得殊胜之世界，顶礼如来应供正等觉，息灭一切恶趣者。受持此之名号者，将从一切恶趣中解脱。于世界善妙显现处，顶礼如来应供正等觉，视一切有情为可怜者。受持此之名号者，一切世间人皆欢喜。顶礼如来欢喜之吉祥，顶礼如来旃檀之吉祥，顶礼如来勇猛，顶礼如来摧伏一切魔力，顶礼如来具冠，顶礼如来一切救护，顶礼如来破除邪信，顶礼如来金坚，顶礼如来护光。如是所说之诸佛名号，受持及供养等，将从一切恶道恶趣中解脱，并能完全清净安住于劫之业障，乃至五无间罪等，将生于善趣，并逐渐现证无上正等菩提。若因信心和忆念衰退而造罪，舍弃正法，诽谤圣者，造五无间罪，杀生，盗取三宝之物，以及为了生于无间地狱和三恶道之有情，为了使朋友和亲人完全解脱，塑造如来之身像，无论是绘画或泥塑，以此供养，并为那些有情的解脱而祈祷，为了那些善根而回向，将从恶趣中解脱等，宣说了无量利益。༈ །大云经中说：于南方世界名为显现清净处，顶礼如来应供正等觉佛，智慧无尽者。于南方世界名为一切平等处，顶礼如来应供正等觉

। । By holding this name, one will be liberated from all afflictions. In the realm of the world that has obtained distinction, I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, who pacifies all bad destinies. By holding this name, one will be liberated from all bad destinies. In the realm of the world that appears well, I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, who sees all sentient beings as miserable. By holding this name, all worldly beings will be manifestly delighted. I prostrate to the Tathagata, the glorious Joy; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the glorious Sandalwood; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Hero; I prostrate to the Tathagata, who utterly destroys the power of all demons; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the One with a Crest Jewel; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Protector of All; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Dispeller of Wrong Beliefs; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Golden One; I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Light Preserver. By holding the names of these Buddhas as taught, and by making offerings, etc., one will be liberated from all bad realms and bad destinies, and the karmic obscurations that remain for eons, including the five without interval, will also be completely purified, and one will be born in happy destinies and gradually awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. If, due to the decline of faith and mindfulness, one commits sins, abandons the sacred Dharma, slanders the noble ones, commits the five deeds of immediate retribution, takes life, steals the property of the Three Jewels, and for the sake of sentient beings born in the Avici hell and the three lower realms, and in order to completely liberate friends and relatives, one should make images of those Tathagatas, whether painted or made of clay, and offer them with offerings, and pray for the liberation of those sentient beings, and dedicate the roots of virtue for their sake, one will be liberated from the lower realms, etc., and immeasurable benefits are taught. ༈ । From the Great Cloud Sutra: In the southern direction, in the world called Manifestly Pure, I prostrate to the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, whose wisdom is inexhaustible. 我向珍宝胜幢佛顶礼！在南方名为意乐的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，无垢光藏佛顶礼！在南方名为极喜的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，以种种幻化而令清净之名佛顶礼！在南方名为喜好正法的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，云护佛顶礼！在南方名为一切外道处的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，狮子嬉戏王佛顶礼！在南方名为莲花幢的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，妙高山王现胜佛顶礼！在南方名为珍宝守护的世界里，向如来、应供、正等觉，成为守护一切正法顶髻之佛顶礼！这些佛的刹土是完全清净的，没有五浊、妇女和声闻独觉之名，一切都喜好大乘。听闻这些佛的名号后，受持、读诵、并为他人宣说的善男子或善女子，不可能堕入地狱或畜生之处，以及非天之列。对于那些持诵这些佛名的人，毒、武器、火、水、国王、盗贼、人、非人、龙、夜叉、狮子、恶劣众生、老虎、狗、狼、蛇的恐吓都不能造成障碍，对其梵行、诵经、钵和法衣造成障碍是不可能的，除了业的异熟果报。为了从他人处获得供养或恭敬等，即使只是听闻这些佛的名号，也不可能堕入恶趣。持诵这些名号的人的家中，佛会安住，并且深信不疑的人会转变为金刚的自性，对于他们来说，一切恐惧都会当下寂灭。

I prostrate to Buddha Ratna Ketu! In the southern world called 'Contented Mind,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Immaculate Light Essence! In the southern world called 'Extremely Joyful,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Fame Purifying Through Various Emanations! In the southern world called 'Fond of the Holy Dharma,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Cloud Protection! In the southern world called 'Abode of All Heretics,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Lion Playing King! In the southern world called 'Lotus Banner,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Mount Meru Manifestly Supreme! In the southern world called 'Treasure Protector,' I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Buddha Who Has Become the Crest of Constantly Protecting the Holy Dharma! The fields of these Buddhas are completely pure, without the names of the five degenerations, women, or Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and all delight in the Great Vehicle. Those sons or daughters of good family who, having heard the names of these Buddhas, hold, recite, and teach them to others, will have no possibility or place to be born in the hells, animal realms, or the ranks of the Asuras. For those who hold the names of these Buddhas, there will be no obstruction from poison, weapons, fire, water, kings, thieves, humans, non-humans, nagas, yakshas, lions, cruel beings, tigers, dogs, wolves, snakes, or threats. There will be no possibility of obstructing their pure conduct, recitation, alms bowl, or Dharma robes, except for the ripening of karma. Even if one hears the names of these Buddhas for the sake of receiving offerings or respect from others, there is no possibility of being born in the lower realms. In the home of those who hold these names, the Buddhas will reside, and those who have faith will transform into the nature of vajra, and all fears will be pacified in that very moment.
