In the great tent, yogis like us and our retinues, without neglecting protection until enlightenment, we invite and enthrone the supreme life-force of vidyadharas. Holding the sandalwood great club that repels demonic battles, holding the fresh skull playing with the heart's blood of the wicked, crushing the hearts of heretics with stretching and contracting postures, I prostrate and praise the one who possesses the nine dances of blazing. To the yogis who rely on you, the protector, may the unruly hordes who harbor hatred and wickedness be destroyed like grass in the fire of the end of time. We enthrone the master of power of subduing demons. The ten protectors who guard above, below, and in all directions, the great lords of the eight classes of arrogant beings, together with the attendant deities, war gods, emanations, and retinues, I prostrate and praise, surrounded by an immeasurable army. May you, the Dharma protector, raise the supreme banner of my accomplishment, the power of my army, and the help of my companions, and may we be victorious over the opposing forces. We enthrone you as the great banner of fame. You who protect the teachings of the Buddhas of the three times, who wield power over all the realms of the three kayas, who are unrivaled in greatness and power in the three realms, I prostrate and praise you, the protector of the three realms. You who guide beings in danger of birth and death, who heal the great disease of the three poisons with the medicine of wisdom, who directly realize the supreme wisdom of non-abiding, I invite and enthrone you as a companion on the ultimate path. Praising you, the lord of hosts, may we perfect all great gatherings, attain the power of the lord of hosts like the lord of the world, and may all our wishes be fulfilled. May the glorious Buddha's teachings flourish, and may wealth, power, longevity, merit, and fame increase. Having attained the power inseparable from you, the glorious protector, may the glorious splendor blaze in all directions. Lord of Great Bliss, the supreme unchanging eternal youth, In the three worlds, only the form of a youth, The supremely joyful and delightful form, The net of Dakini clouds manifests beautifully, Joyfully offering with the play of Great Bliss union, To the Lord of Hosts, the King of Power, the Master of Assemblies, The play of appearance and existence, bliss and emptiness, is well manifested, The Samantabhadra offering clouds pervade the Dharmadhatu, Respectfully offering and with compassion to all beings, Reverently bowing to the play of attachment and Great Bliss, O Protector, All-pervading Lord, Illusionary Dancer, With the dance of Great Bliss, attachment, and joy, May you delight all three realms and fill my heart With the splendor of compassion and nectar. My body, a lotus, is struck by the arrow of the eye, Drawing the minds of others as desired, and whatever is seen, Stealing the steadfastness of the mind, shaking and bowing. Grant the accomplishments of power, making the three realms free. Destroy the darkness of suffering for me and those near, And with the blazing light of Great Bliss, may all perceptions Melt unhindered in a state of joy, And may you ripen the pure, unchanging Bindu. On the twenty-third day of the fifth month. Following is the section on the Protectors. The supplication to the Four-Armed Glorious Wisdom Protector: Hūṃ raṃ raṃ (藏文，梵文天城体：हुँ रं रं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ raṃ raṃ，汉语字面意思：吽 让 让). From the mandala of red-black flames, Upon the lotus, sun, moon, and corpse, The Glorious Wisdom Protector is, Body color dark blue-black, large belly, One face, four arms, seated in semi-lotus posture, The two right hands hold a curved knife and a sword, The two left hands hold a skull cup and a khatvanga, Opening the mouth, rolling the tongue, baring the fangs, Wrathful frown, three eyes red and swirling, The mustache, eyebrows, and hair are yellow, Adorned with skull cups, precious Jewels, and snakes, A garland of human heads, wrapped in tiger skin, I prostrate and praise the Great Terrifier, The powerful, arrogant one of the three realms, The terrifying, flaming father and mother form, I prostrate and praise the assembly of Karma Protectors, Food, prepared food, and drinks, and Tormas and various foods, and Sound, smell, taste, and touch, Nectar, flesh, blood, I offer the torma, I pray that you joyfully accept them, Having accepted these conducive offerings, Destroy the armies of demons to ashes, Completely annihilate all obstructing forces, Cut off the life force of the enemies, come!
