Since there are no terms in the world for accomplishment, it is impossible to show anyone where to learn to infer meaning and the ways of engaging and disengaging. Through speculation, pursuing the future and speculating about the past, etc., one can also measure and prove things that are not manifest in the present with the mind. If there is no inference with speculation, then all actions of doing good and avoiding evil based on signs will cease to exist, and everything will become like a newborn baby, completely ignorant. Relying on a sign like smoke, how can one understand the object to be proven, like fire? That is the sign, and it is also established as a property of the similar class, the object to be proven follows that sign, and if the object to be proven disappears, then the sign also disappears in its pervasiveness. If the three aspects are complete, then there will be no mistake in the establishment of the object to be proven. By means of direct perception and inference, the sign of establishing any of the four, from that, one can infer and ascertain some hidden things, such as the sense faculties. If so, then it is also necessary to establish any object to be proven through any relationship of either identity or arising from that, through the relationship of arising from that, proving the cause by the result is the sign of the result, and through the path of the relationship of identity, this is the sign of nature. And appearance possible, non-appearance or contradictory appearance, preventing any object to be prevented, this is the sign of non-appearance. Thus, if all types of signs are summarized, they exist in these three. If analyzed by the ultimate reason for discriminating the ultimate truth, that is, the reason spoken of in Madhyamaka and Tantra, then in reality, all appearances such as samsara and nirvana are originally the equality of non-differentiation. If analyzed by the ultimate reason for discriminating conventional truth, that is, the reason spoken of in Vajrayana, then when the continuum is pure, what is seen is only the pure vessel and essence world. Therefore, all of this abides in the pure nature of its state. Therefore, things arise depending on causes and conditions. Non-things are merely not arising from causes and conditions, merely relying on the distinction of what is to be negated to be established. Therefore, both the real object like a vase and the non-real object like emptiness that prevents a vase are not established in reality, therefore empty of its own nature. The ultimate state, that is, the ultimate truth, the basis of emptiness is the vase.

For example, the two emptinesses that are severed from it, their own characteristics are not different. Appearances like a vase and the emptiness of its non-establishment are inseparable, appearing as empty and empty as appearing, and it is not the object of verbal discrimination, so it cannot be expressed by any means such as names, words, and symbols. Then who will realize it? It is to be realized by the wisdom of the individual yogi's own knowledge. How many kinds of establishment are there in the world? It is summarized as existence establishment and being establishment. How many kinds of refutation are there? It is summarized as non-affirming negation, which does not add other dharmas after refutation, and non-negation, which adds other dharmas after refutation. Relying on valid cognition such as direct perception that does not deceive, one refutes what is unreasonable and establishes what is reasonable. After the terms are properly defined, the inference for oneself precedes, and for others, in accordance with that reasoning, one speaks of the inference for others, which establishes the validity of one's own system and refutes the invalidity of other systems. Refuting other systems involves establishing the three-aspect reason in one's own mindstream, like the inference for oneself, or even if the three aspects are not complete, relying on the opponent's acceptance as the reason, refuting the opponent with fallacious language, which is a correct refutation. For the conventions of what is seen on this side, there are also situations of reality and appearance, because there are inconsistent appearances. The impure seeing of this side is the world, and the pure seeing relies on the vision of the noble ones, so there are two kinds of universally accepted valid cognitions. They are like a person who only sees his own country and the eye of a god who sees both his own country and the former. The differences between these two valid cognitions that are not confused are also distinguished by essence, cause, effect, and function. First, the essence is the non-deceptive wisdom of the object of knowledge, the totality of things. The cause is the senses and so on, properly grasping their respective objects with direct perception and so on, that is, according to the reality of things, without reversing them, such as the non-conceptual eye consciousness properly grasping its own object, blue, and the conceptual mind consciousness grasping the existence of fire from the sign of smoke. Born. Oh. The function is to eliminate the doubt and superimposition on the object seen on this side. The result is to completely grasp the meaning of the matter at hand without error. Two
