When the unreal conceptualization or illusion is exhausted, and the nature of reality is attained through the complete separation of non-apprehension of the apprehended and the apprehender, this is considered liberation, because the cycle of existence, which is different from the conceptualization of illusion, does not exist even to the slightest extent. Thus, the unreal conceptualization itself, in terms of convention, exists as such, so all pervasively pure and bound liberation are reasonable. If it does not exist, then everything will become unreasonable. Third, it is divided into three parts: explaining the meaning of the three natures, and the way to enter into them. First, as stated in "Examination and," etc., it is possible to establish the distinction of three natures in the pervasively conceptualized, which three? Namely, the pervasively conceptualized, the dependent, and the perfectly established. How is it established? Because external objects appear and there is a dualistic appearance, although it is meaningless, it appears as meaningful, and from that part, it is established as illusion or pervasively conceptualized. Such an appearance is nothing other than unreal conceptualization, so from the part of its basis of appearance, it is established as the dependent consciousness of its own nature. Since the apprehended and the apprehender are not established in meaning at all, it is said that its nature is the perfectly established nature of non-duality. Second, it is explained by "The object is," etc. The way to enter into the nature of the pervasively conceptualized, which is encompassed by the three natures, is: relying on taking or knowing and familiarizing oneself with the things that appear to be real, as the nature of the maturation of inner habits, the conceptualization of not taking external objects as real will increase. Thus, relying on not taking external objects, the non-apprehension of the apprehender itself will also increase. Therefore, the external object itself is not established, like a dream, taking it as the nature of the inner mind, this is the nature of knowing that the external object is not apprehended or not established. Therefore, it should be known that taking all appearances as the nature of mere pervasive conceptualization, or taking it as the nature of mere consciousness, and not taking external objects are the same or have the same meaning. From the aspects of establishment and negation, no matter what is explained, the key point is the same in meaning. Second, how to explain afflictions, with what to afflict

This explains how one is defiled by afflictions. First, it is explained with two verses such as "untrue." Here, in the cycle of the three realms, there is no other agent that causes affliction; it is due to one's own conceptualization. So, what is called untrue conceptualization? It is that which appears as the duality of grasper and grasped, all the mind and mental factors included in the three realms. This shows that the undefiled mind does not belong here. So, what is the difference between the main mind and the accompanying mental factors? From the aspect of merely seeing the essence of the object, it is called the main mind or consciousness. From the aspect of the particular way of holding that sees the special qualities of the object, it is called a mental factor. Among these, the main mind, that is, consciousness, if divided, there are eight consciousnesses. Among them, the alaya consciousness is the only one called the consciousness of cause or basis, because it is the basis of the seven consciousnesses. The second aspect, the seven consciousnesses that arise from the alaya consciousness, are those that closely enjoy their respective objects. Regarding the classification of mental factors, feeling is closely enjoying the experience of pleasure, pain, and neutrality of the object; perception is holding in the manner of completely cutting off the characteristics of the object; other mental factors besides these, such as intention and aspiration, all the corresponding formations are the function of causing the nature of that consciousness to enter the object. For example, from the aspect of the mind moving and entering the object, it is the mental factor intention; from the aspect of abiding, it is established as samadhi, etc. Therefore, what is included by feeling, perception, and formations are mental factors. Secondly, it is explained with "for obscuring," etc. So, how is it that due to the power of conceptualization, one continuously enters samsara and is defiled by afflictions? Because the twelve links of dependent origination are interconnected without interruption, they will cycle like a chain. What is that? Ignorance afflicts beings, because it obscures seeing the true meaning. That is to say, ignorance that obscures seeing the true meaning, due to clinging to self and what belongs to self, leads to the arising of subsequent links such as the formation of karma. Similarly, formations

It afflicts sentient beings because it plants the seed of future existence in consciousness. Similarly, "afflicts" should be applied to all, including consciousness, because consciousness, imbued with habitual tendencies, leads sentient beings to the place of birth, name and form grasp the body of craving, the six sense sources completely perfect the state of name and form, contact relies on the combination of object, faculty, and consciousness to completely sever the changes of the object, feeling experiences the aspects of ripening happiness and suffering, craving draws near the next rebirth, grasping makes the next rebirth manifest, existence makes the next birth actually accomplished, and birth is the basis of suffering such as aging. Since aging and death are the nature of suffering, these two afflict sentient beings because they cause suffering. Thus, the twelve links of dependent origination, in the manner of the former giving rise to the latter in an unbroken sequence, afflict sentient beings. Whatever birth arises from the cause of contaminated afflictions, it is the great mass of suffering, represented by aging, which changes state, and death, which severs continuity, as well as sorrow and lamentation. Each moment of the contaminated aggregates is either painful in its very nature, or appears to be happy but is subject to change, or whether happy or painful, it eventually becomes a cause of suffering. From the perspective of being related to the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the all-pervasive suffering of conditioning, the contaminated aggregates are the basis of suffering. Thus, these twelve links of dependent origination can also be summarized into three
