Therefore, if one says that there is mundane separation attainment because one has abandoned the past separation attainment and does not possess lower afflictions, then this fault will not change. For example, according to your view, the past path can also represent a portion of the peak of existence, because it has abandoned all afflictions below the eight afflictions of that place, or has been liberated from that place. The non-returner with dull faculties relies on meditation to transfer faculties, and because there is no mundane path to counteract the peak of existence, there is also no mundane separation attainment. The past separation attainment is also abandoned because it relies on meditation to transfer faculties, so both separation attainments are absent. However, it is asserted that the peak of existence does not possess afflictions. Furthermore, for example, like a child born from the first dhyana upwards to the second dhyana, etc.: "The virtues included in dhyana are abandoned by the decay when the ground is transferred." Therefore, even though there is no separation attainment of abandoning desire realm afflictions, it is because one does not possess desire realm afflictions. Being born above the first dhyana, etc., not possessing lower afflictions is because the seed exists, but the conditions for manifestation are not complete. Second, from which ground does one separate from attachment? There are two types: actual and inferred meaning. First, there are two types: generally explaining the invincible that can serve as a basis for separating from attachment from all grounds, and specifically explaining other dhyanas that are the basis for separating from attachment. First, there are two types: actual and incidentally examining whether the final liberation path of separating from attachment in the lower ground belongs to the nature of proximity or actual reality. First, from the nine grounds. First, with the uncontaminated invincible, one can separate from desire from all nine grounds. Second, incidentally, if one separates from desire from the lower ground by relying on proximity, then does the final liberation path entirely arise as the nature of proximity, or not? The desire realm and the first dhyana, the afflictions of the three grounds, if one overcomes with proximity, if the faculties are sharp, then the final path arises from the actual reality of dhyana, that is, even if the types of feelings are different, one can transfer equanimity to the joy and happiness of the actual reality. If the faculties are dull, then the final liberation path arises from proximity, not from actual reality, because the feelings of proximity and actual reality are different, so it is difficult to generate joy and happiness after equanimity.

Third and above, the fourth ground and above, which are free from attachment to the upper grounds, do not arise from the preparatory path, but arise entirely from the actual path. Because there is no different feeling, the actual path arises effortlessly. Second, the invincible has been described, and other than that, the noble ones, that is, the other eight uncontaminated grounds, can overcome their own ground and the upper ground, but not the lower ground, because it has already been overcome by the preparatory path alone. Second, regarding the incidental meaning, from the way of abandoning attachment to the lower ground, the distinction of the objects of the worldly path is derived, and from the nature of the last liberation path, the distinction of whether the knowledge of exhaustion gives rise to the knowledge of non-arising or not is derived, both. First, the worldly liberation path and the uninterrupted path are, in order, the worldly liberation path is peaceful relative to the lower ground, and so on, enriched by the word "etc.". It has the aspect of renunciation, so-called "upper", is the object of the upper ground, that is, it is focused on the upper ground. The worldly uninterrupted path, relative to the upper ground, is accomplished by great manifestation, and is coarse, etc., with the word "etc." indicating extremely many bad destinies, and because it is not in harmony, it is a bad foundation. Just as a wall will definitely not arise from that wall, a ground will definitely not arise from that ground, like an ugly wall, the lower ground with the aspect of seeing, is focused on the ground of the object of the upper and lower grounds. Second, then what kind of wisdom arises at the end of the knowledge of exhaustion? If the Arhat is sharp-witted and has the nature of non-retrogression, then because of non-retrogression, the knowledge of non-arising or wisdom arises from the knowledge of exhaustion. If the faculties are dull, then it is not so, from the knowledge of exhaustion only the continuum of the knowledge of exhaustion arises, or the correct view of the non-learner arises. The knowledge of non-arising is not so, because there is a time when afflictions arise, so it is possible to degenerate. The knowledge of non-arising does not degenerate. That non-learning view is present in all Arhats. For those who have the nature of non-retrogression, sometimes only the knowledge of non-arising arises from the knowledge of non-arising, and sometimes the correct view of the non-learner arises. Second, in terms of classification: The eighty-nine fruits of the ascetic are explained, and they are summarized into four, and the different names of the causes of those four, those four.
