Dedication of what is obtained, and the assembly of yogis becomes the cause of that assembly, the adornment of the mind is going to the body of the higher realms or the good destinies, and the equipment of the mind also turns into great enjoyment, so it is said. Moreover, for those four, there is faith practice, the three paths such as the path of seeing, or faith practice, displeasure, purity, and ultimately it is also said to be the four paths. The former seven are inferior because they gradually decline due to laziness, the fear of poverty in this life and the next, the desire for wealth, looking back at the past, liking the future, despising the object of generosity, the desire for higher realms, and the desire for fame. The second distinction is that even if one is not a noble being, the benefit of giving to one's own parents, the sick, the preachers, and the last existence, or the last birth, or the last Bodhisattva, that is, the one who attains Buddhahood in that very life, such as Siddhartha, is immeasurable merit. Secondly, incidentally, there are two differences: the difference between the size of the action and the difference between accumulating and not accumulating. Firstly, the action is great because it is constantly done at the end of the path, and it is great because of the field, and the basis is killing in the action of the body, lying in the action of speech, and great wrong view in the action of mind, and so on, and it is great because of the application, such as doing it personally with body and speech and being happy, and the mind that completes or ultimately completes it and the thought of intention are great, the end and so on, those six are small and great, and the action also becomes small and great, and if all six are complete, it is very great. Secondly, again, the sutra says that there are accumulated actions and non-accumulated actions, which are done without prior consideration, not casually, but deliberately thinking "this must be done", and the limbs of the action are completely completed, and there is no regret after doing it, and there is no antidote to harm that action, such as wrong view and falling, and it has the application ending retinue such as rejoicing, and it is certain to experience the ripening, which is called accumulated action, and other actions are regarded as non-accumulated actions. Similarly, one should also know what is accumulated but not done, and what is neither. Among them, the six incomplete things that are opposite to the above are done but not accumulated. The action that is accumulated but not done is, whatever is to be completely done with the body, but with the mind...

It has been completely done, and it has also been said verbally that this matter should be done, but it has not been done. Not accumulated and not done means doing something without specifically thinking about it. Furthermore, many differences in karma have been mentioned. Third, dispelling doubts, the distinctions within the Mahasamghika school, such as the East and West Mountain schools, say that offering to stupas with attachment should not be considered a donation for one's own benefit, because how can offering to stupas generate merit? Because there is no receiver or enjoyer. If you say that, it is not right, although they do not have the merit arising from receiving and enjoying, through the power of faith and so on, merit will arise from the cause of offering objects of worship to the stupa, for example, even if no one actually receives and benefits, cultivating loving-kindness and right view, etc., will also produce benefits. Therefore, there are two types of merit arising from giving: that arising from the enjoyer and that arising from the cause of giving. Offering to stupas, etc., only has the merit arising from the cause of giving. If you give with attachment to beings in the desire realm who are free from attachment, then both are present. If giving to a good field such as a benefactor can result in a pleasingly ripened result, then giving to a bad field such as animals will not result in a pleasingly ripened result? Because the pleasingly ripened result arises from a virtuous cause without any confusion, even giving to a bad field will produce a pleasing result. However, compared to a good field, the ripened result is small and matures slowly, like a fruit planted in a bad field. Even if you say that, special explanation is needed. Second, regarding ethics. Divided into common and specific, explaining the two types of completely pure ethics. First, the ethics of breaking vows are: non-virtuous indicative form and non-indicative form. Abandoning the ethics of breaking vows are the two types of indicative and non-indicative forms. Although it is not a natural sin, abandoning untimely food, etc., which is prohibited or forbidden by the Buddha, whether it is indicative or non-indicative, is ethics. Second, the complete purity of ethics means: possessing four qualities. What are they? Not having the fault of breaking vows.
