From the moment of beginning to lose the qualities of youth, like the setting sun, filled with white hair and wrinkles, and the weakening of the body, one gradually enters the state of old age. Therefore, it should be known that this is the constant state of momentary continuity. Similarly, the so-called inferior and superior, the inferiority of inferior rebirths and श्रेष्ठ rebirths lies in being reborn in the three lower realms, while श्रेष्ठ rebirths, or superior rebirths, are rebirths as gods and humans. These are uncertain, as one may be reborn from the lower realms to the higher realms, from the higher realms to the lower realms, and from human to human, etc. There are various rebirths of the same kind and different kinds, therefore it is impermanent, and it is through the continuity of moments that such rebirths occur. If it were permanent, there would not be various different forms. The so-called luminous and, luminous rebirth refers to the gods of the Enjoying Emanation and Controlling Others' Emanations among the six desire realms, as well as the gods of the form and formless realms, who are called luminous because their enjoyment and samadhi depend solely on their own minds, and they can enter as they wish. How do they enter? The gods of the Enjoying Emanation can emanate goddesses of whatever color, shape, clothing, and ornaments they desire, and enjoy them; similarly, the goddesses can also emanate gods as they desire in their minds, and enjoy them; the gods of Controlling Others' Emanations can also transform and enjoy themselves as they wish in order to experience the pleasures of desire with other gods. The gods of the form and formless realms can also enter and manifest whatever samadhi concentration they desire, according to their own minds. Such a situation cannot exist in a permanent dharma, and it should be known that it arises from the momentary mind. The so-called non-luminous, non-luminous rebirth refers to the remaining beings other than the aforementioned gods, from the Tushita heaven to the hells, because they cannot accomplish everything merely through their own thoughts, so they are called non-luminous. Their minds and enjoyments also

One should understand the impermanence of the moment. In general, sentient beings of the three realms are not entirely fixed in one state. Light can turn into non-light, and non-light can turn into light. Because of inner distinctions, various kinds of lives arise, therefore it is impermanent, and its continuation is also momentary, which should be understood. The so-called "going to another place" refers to the life of going to another place, that is, dying and transferring from where one has been born in another place, thereby going in the manner of being born in another place. Or, from the form realm downwards, even with the same body, one does not stay in the same place, but goes to other places, which also proceeds and goes with the continuation of the moment. Because for a permanent phenomenon, such a situation is impossible. The so-called "with seeds" refers to the life with seeds, that is, being born with the afflictive habitual tendencies or seeds that cause birth in the three realms, that is, except for the remaining arhat who has exhausted the afflictions to be abandoned by the paths of seeing and meditation, and the last moment of his aggregates, other arhats, non-returners, once-returners, stream-enterers, and all ordinary beings of the three realms, because they have the seeds of afflictions, the continuation of their five aggregates arises, which is being born with seeds. And their arising is that these phenomena with cause and effect are established in an instant. What is called "the nature of seedlessness" refers to the life of seedlessness, although it is the nature of having no seeds to be born in samsara, the aggregates still arise with the nature of the former being the cause and the latter being the effect, that is, except for the last moment when the remaining arhats enter into nirvana without remainder. Even though the remaining arhat does not have the seed to be born again, due to the momentum of previous karma, he still has the remainder of the aggregates, and before entering nirvana without remainder, there is still the arising of momentary continuation. And after the last moment of the remaining aggregates, there is no longer the arising of continuation, because it has entered the realm of phenomena without remainder of aggregates. Therefore, as long as there is life, it is momentary. Thus, previously it was with seeds, and later it will become without seeds, therefore it is impermanent, and it can be determined that it is a momentary continuation.
