What I have said about the thirteen is: From the time of ordinary beings, starting with listening to and contemplating the sacred Dharma, and seeking the Dharma up to the stage of practice with faith below the highest worldly Dharma, it is called increasing because it increases the seed of liberation. From the time of practicing with faith, when the continuous samadhi of the gateway to Dharma is attained at the highest worldly Dharma, up to the time between the first and seventh bhumis, it is called having superior intention, because it is to realize the two selflessnesses and attain the mind of equality between self and others. The Dharma realized from the eighth to the tenth bhumis is called great, because it is to attain the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of non-discrimination. Thus, the three divisions distinguished by realization are considered to be the Dharma that steadfast Bodhisattvas fully seek. Furthermore, for those Bodhisattvas, in the stage of practice with faith below the highest worldly Dharma, there are obstacles to be abandoned, namely, unstable intention, being influenced by virtuous and non-virtuous friends, and not having abandoned the two obscurations. From the first to the seventh bhumis, there are no Dharmas of obstacles to be abandoned, hence it is unobstructed. Similarly, the Dharma realized from the eighth to the tenth bhumis is called powerful, because one has power to spontaneously accomplish non-discrimination, clairvoyance, and purification of Buddha-fields. Thus, it is divided into three from the perspective of what is to be abandoned. Furthermore, the Dharma sought by Bodhisattvas is divided into four from the perspective of attainment: Ordinary beings, between the accumulation path and the forbearance of the application path, do not have the Dharmakaya because they have not attained the non-discrimination that is the cause similar to the Dharmakaya. At the time of the highest worldly Dharma, because grasping and being grasped are abandoned, a part of the Dharmakaya is attained, hence the commentary says it is with body. Some say that there is no body between the intermediate stages of the accumulation path in the stage of practice with faith, and from the attainment of the continuous samadhi of the gateway to Dharma in the superior stage of the accumulation path, up to the four of the application path, the non-discriminating wisdom that is the cause of the Dharmakaya is gradually attained in accordance, hence it is with body. From the first to the seventh bhumis, the body of non-discriminating wisdom with effort that directly sees the truth is attained, or it is said to be attained. From the eighth to the tenth bhumis, with the non-discriminating wisdom without effort...

Fourth, the body is completely perfected through spontaneous accomplishment. Furthermore, there are three divisions based on the presence or absence of pride: From the Excellent Dharma downwards, during the time of individual ordinary beings, the element of pride is greater; from the first to the seventh bhūmi, pride is subtle, because the conceptually imputed is abandoned, and from the second onwards, innate pride is also abandoned as appropriate. From the eighth to the tenth bhūmi, it is believed that there is no pride because the non-conceptual wisdom is fully matured. Fourth, with regard to the fruit of completely seeking the Dharma, the accomplishment of qualities, and the two aspects of what is to be abandoned and abandonment, the first is the stable Dharma, form, etc., which is one verse: For those who are stable, the fruit of completely seeking the Dharma is the body with form and the mind without form, gradually accomplishing the qualities of form, the thirty-two major marks and the eighty minor marks, because these are accomplished through hearing, thinking, and meditating on the Dharma. Similarly, for the formless, the four aggregates of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, the cause of being without the illness of afflictions such as attachment and aversion is also the Dharma, because by knowing and practicing the Dharma, all the afflictions to be abandoned on the paths of seeing and cultivation are permanently pacified. Obtaining mastery over the superknowledges also arises from relying on the Dharma, and even in nirvana without remainder, inexhaustible qualities such as strength also arise from diligence in the Dharma. Therefore, by seeking and practicing the Dharma in this way, one obtains the qualities of form and the qualities without form, the pacification of the illness of afflictions, as well as mastery and inexhaustibility. In the Sutra Requested by Brahma, it is said: A bodhisattva will seek the Dharma if he possesses four qualities. These four are: regarding it as a jewel because it is rare; regarding it as medicine because it is the cause of being without illness; regarding it as wealth because it is rich in superknowledges; and regarding it as nirvana because it is the cause of being inexhaustible. This is also said because the Dharma is difficult to encounter except occasionally, and when encountered, it is of great significance, so it is appropriate to regard it as a jewel. At this time, the example of a jewel being beautiful and pure is also rare in the world, so the Dharma should be regarded as a jewel, and just as medicine cures illness, the nectar of the Dharma can cure afflictions that other medicines cannot.
