O! This is not merely a verbal dispute. It is an important consideration for those who focus on emptiness, and therefore the key points are summarized in this way. Secondly, the sutra says: When the Bodhisattva Eliminating Obscurations turns the wheel of Dharma, The Dharma that is primordially peaceful and unborn, Whose nature is nirvana, The Protector, you have taught. Therefore, the perfect Buddha, the teacher, declares that all phenomena are primordially peaceful, by nature free from birth, and by nature completely liberated from suffering. Therefore, at no time is there existence by nature. Secondly, even if it is not born by nature, appearance is not contradictory. Because, for example, the Vaibhashika school and other realists acknowledge that pots and forests, etc., do not truly exist in your system. Just as it is commonly known in the world, similarly, even if it does not exist in the ultimate truth, if there is one that exists in the conventional truth, then all things will be the same. Therefore, if it does not exist in the conventional truth, like the child of a barren woman, it will not become invisible. If you think that the basis of a pot is eight particles, therefore it is different from this, then the pot is not those eight particles, so it does not help the pot itself. If you analyze the particles, they cannot be established either. Furthermore, if you think that pots, etc., have a basis for appearance, therefore it is different from you, that is also not correct, because it is impossible to prove that the basis of its appearance is substantial, because particles, etc., cannot be established by reasoning. If you have a thorough understanding of these, you will believe that emptiness appears as dependent arising, and thus you will have a definite understanding of the key point of the union of appearance and emptiness, so investigate thoroughly. Furthermore, the meanings of existence and non-existence are not contradictory. On one basis, the existence and non-existence that exist conventionally and do not exist ultimately are not contradictory. Conventionally, the appearance or existence of pots, etc., cannot be denied by anyone. However, by searching through the analysis of meaning, not even a particle can be found, so non-existence is not contradictory, which is determined by the nature of things, and cannot be denied by anyone. Those who speak of emptiness who cannot manifest in this way, on one basis, do not establish the non-contradictory identity of existence in the conventional truth and non-existence in the ultimate truth, but hold that existence and non-existence are contradictory. Because existence and non-existence are mutually exclusive,

How can one think that one thing can be compatible? What exists is a vase, and what does not exist is something that is truly established and extreme. Using terminology to distinguish, whatever does not exist and whatever exists are mutually exclusive and contradictory, just like a rabbit's horn and a vase, one does not exist and the other does. This is different from that, the existence that exists in name and the non-existence that does not exist in ultimate reality, the two are not contradictory on the same basis, and can become one meaning. If this is not possible, then everything that does not exist in ultimate reality does not exist in name either. Everything that exists in name will not become non-existent in ultimate reality either. Use ultimate reality reasoning to refute or establish as non-existent. From things like rabbit horns that do not exist in name, even one dharma that exists in conventional truth cannot be established as having no object of reference in ultimate reality, otherwise the two truths will become very contradictory. Ultimate reality reasoning establishes that there is no object of reference. This is true for phenomena that exist in name, the infallible appearances of dependent origination. Things that do not exist in name, such as rabbit horns and the sons of barren women, have already been established as non-existent in name. Therefore, one should never establish them as non-existent with ultimate reality reasoning, even without ultimate reality reasoning, that has already been established. If one examines with ultimate reality reasoning, there is nothing more to establish, so it is not an object of examination by ultimate reality reasoning. If these things that exist in conventional truth, such as vases, are examined by separation of one and many, not even a particle can be found or identified, which is established by the power of reality, so neither oneself nor others can establish that they have a reference point in ultimate reality, so it is established that they do not exist in ultimate reality. Although they do not exist in ultimate reality, no one can deny that the appearances of dependent origination in name are infallible. Therefore, the reasoning that establishes that something does not exist in name and the reasoning that establishes that something exists in ultimate reality are impossible. Therefore, no one in this world, including the gods, can speak in such a reversed way, this is not the intention of the debater, but because it is established by the power of the nature of things. Therefore, whatever appears is emptiness, emptiness is appearance, appearance and emptiness are not contradictory, and appear as one meaning, that is what is said. A dharma is not empty from its own side, a dharma is emptied by other things, this is the way of emptiness for worldly people, how can it be the realm of activity for ultimate reality yogis? For example, a vase exists, but there is no cloth on the vase, a cow has horns, but there are no rabbit horns on the cow's horns. How can the dharmas that exist in conventional truth be considered the meaning of emptiness?
