In the Root Tantra of the Web of Illusion, it says, "When connected by great compassion, all six realms and times appear without exception." Also, in the Lotus Sutra of the Sacred Dharma, it says, "In countless billions of incalculable kalpas, there is never any measure of it. I have attained this supreme enlightenment, and I will always perfectly explain the Dharma." Thus it is said. In the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son, it is also said, "Great hero, skillful in means, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, hundreds of thousands of millions of conquerors have shown themselves as Buddhas. Yet still you guide and show many Buddhas." Thus it is said. However, from the perspective of establishing terminology, as in the common Lesser Vehicle, in general, countless Buddhas of the three times dwell pervading the sky. Among them, our teacher, the truly complete and perfect Buddha Shakyamuni, first generated the mind of enlightenment, then accumulated merit for three countless kalpas, and finally manifested complete enlightenment, turning all the wheels of Dharma. As it says in the Sutra of the Array of Merits, "From the time I first generated the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment, I accumulated merit with great diligence for three great countless kalpas. When the lifespan was a hundred years, I saw sentient beings like blind people without guides, and in this Jambudvipa, I manifested enlightenment and turned the inconceivable wheel of Dharma completely." Thus it is said. It is said that this teacher, in the past, when he was the potter's son Nangje, generated the mind of enlightenment in the presence of the Tathagata Shakyamuni. In the Sutra of the Fortunate Aeon, it is also said, "In the past, I was of a lower caste. Before the Tathagata Shakyamuni, I offered a handful of flowers and first generated the supreme mind of enlightenment." Thus it is said. Thereafter, regarding the manner of accumulating merit, as the Lesser Vehicle's doctrine states, "Dipamkara, Vipaśyin, and Krakucchanda appeared at the end of the three countless aeons. The first was Shakyamuni. To all beings, with compassion, he perfected generosity by giving. Though limbs were cut off with attachment, he was not disturbed, with patience and discipline. Praising the Star King, with diligence, immediately he attained samadhi." Thus it is said, that is, in countless aeons.

In sequence for the three, it is said that one pleases 75,000, 76,000, and 77,000 Buddhas. According to the Mahayana view, one must completely traverse the five paths and ten bhumis. Therefore, from the moment of attaining the noble ground, in each and every instant, one pleases countless and immeasurable Buddhas in the ten directions, accumulates and perfects limitless collections of merit and wisdom, fully ripens countless sentient beings, purifies immeasurable realms, gradually traverses the ten bhumis, and finally, in the Akaniṣṭha realm, manifests the ultimate limit of constant wisdom, thereby pleasing the state of Buddhahood. Without moving from there, in the pure abodes above, the Akaniṣṭha of the Great Lord, and the Akaniṣṭha of the form realm, as well as in Tuṣita and Jambudvipa, one manifests emanated bodies. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "Great compassion knows the world, having beheld all the world, without moving from the Dharmakaya, with various natures of emanation, manifesting birth, descending from the Tuṣita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in crafts, delighting in the company of consorts, renouncing, practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras and perfecting, enlightenment and the wheel of Dharma, and manifesting Nirvana, in all the impure realms, as long as samsara exists, one continuously manifests." Thus it is said. From the tantric scriptures, in Akaniṣṭha and the realm of Paranirmitavasavartin, as well as on the summit of Mount Meru, and in the human realm of Shri Dhanyakataka, Sahora, Oddiyana, Vulture Peak Mountain, Cool Grove, etc., the time, place, and retinue are not fixed, and through mandala manifestation and other means, various unique principles of the countless tantras are taught. How does one turn the wheel of Dharma in accordance with the thoughts of individual disciples with different dispositions? The Vaibhashikas believe that there is only the wheel of Dharma of the four truths, repeated in twelve aspects. The Sautrantikas acknowledge the middle and final turnings of the wheel of Dharma in addition to the first turning. The Mahayana view is that
