(Tibetan: ༀ་སྭ་སྟི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ स्वस्ति, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ svasti, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Auspicious!). I respectfully prostrate to the Guru and the Three Jewels. To briefly express an eloquent speech and dedication that suits the time and place, speaking moderately, with appropriate detail and brevity, possessing the adornment of speech, with good content, clear expression, and easy understanding, so that it is pleasing and delightful to the ears of the assembled audience, not mumbling but clearly, accurately, and pleasantly, I shall say as follows: The roots of merit accumulated in the past are firm, the branches of perfect prosperity are flourishing, and the flowers of pure white enjoyment are manifestly blooming. At this time of enjoying the feast of the fruits of the sacred Dharma, in order to convey the meaning of the occasion, following in the footsteps of the pure ancients, I will offer some authentic historical stories to your ears. Thus, the root and lineage Guru, the source of all supreme and common accomplishments, the Buddha who has perfected both purposes, the sacred Dharma that dispels the darkness of the two obscurations, and the noble Sangha who possess both wisdom and liberation, these Three Jewels are the supreme refuge, protector, support, and companion for all beings. In the vast sky of the pure Dharmadhatu, the mandala of the three bodies, like the sun, is fully flourishing, radiating the light of altruistic activity in all directions, causing the lotus garden of benefit and happiness to prosper, and continuously abiding therein. The supports of body, speech, and mind of these Gurus, Buddhas, Dharma, and Sangha, in general, are the pure realm of Akanishta Mahayana, the palace of the King of Dharma in Tushita, the city of the Vidyadharas of Oddiyana, the summit of Mount Malaya in the land of Lanka, the great secret Dharma pleasure garden, and the Lotus Light Palace of the Southwest Chamara, etc., pure Sambhogakaya realms, and impure Nirmanakaya realms, immeasurable and boundless, abiding in the endless expanse of the sky, which is inconceivable.
