Furthermore, in this state, do not think of any contrived thoughts, but gaze naturally. Relax comfortably, spread out widely, and let go without a trace. In the state of boundlessness like the sky, relax loosely, recognize that which directly touches the root of the self-born awareness that is without duality of subject and object, and maintain it nakedly. This is the characteristic of Dzogchen. Recognizing the original purity, the primordial Buddha, the self-born wisdom, the self-abiding intent of the exhaustion of phenomena, samsara is transformed into Dharmakaya, liberated from the grasping of hope and fear, and manifests as the fruition of the four Kayas, which is called perfect enlightenment. Fourth, to introduce the nature of reality as it is, is to introduce it through the three aspects of view, meditation, and action. First, to introduce it from the perspective of view. The *Magical Net Tantra* says: "All phenomena that appear in this way are not phenomena with substance, but only the clear light of non-conceptual self-awareness." The *Gu Tantra* says: "Outside of the precious mind, there is no Buddha and no sentient being." Saraha says: "Mind itself is the single seed of all things." Therefore, the root or seed of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana is only mind itself, and cannot be found elsewhere. That is, the three doors of body, speech, and mind abide in their natural state, and in this state, let any appearing sound or thing arise clearly in the mind. All the various things that appear in this way are like dream appearances, merely illusions of one's own conceptual thoughts, and there is not even a particle of true establishment anywhere inside or outside. For example, for the same object, due to the differences of the six realms, etc., countless different appearances appear to different beings. The same person can also become an uncertain enemy or friend due to different thoughts. Therefore, how do thoughts arise from the mind? It does not move from the mind itself. Why? Because although the object and mind do not come and go with each other, the appearance of the mind's object is experienced. Therefore, it will be certain that all appearances of objects are the magical manifestations of the mind. For example, observing and analyzing this clear and empty space, apart from the appearance of arising, ceasing, and abiding, shapes and colors, etc., it is impossible to determine its own nature anywhere, so it is impossible to point out.

Therefore, turn your own mind inward, and by examining and analyzing, you will not see it anywhere, and nothing is established. Because emptiness cannot be identified anywhere, it is free from elaboration. Because it does not go beyond the nature of all phenomena, it is primordial. Because it has not been stained by the defilements of the mind, it is primordially pure. Because it is not bound by the attachment to experience, it is originally liberated. That is to say: without thought, without words, without place, without object, without going, without coming. In reality, even the Buddhas have not seen it, will not see it, and will not see it. It is separated from the extremes of memory, thought, and elaboration that represent characteristics. The three thousand worlds are nowhere to be found. Nakedly seeing, the nakedly arising awareness, just identify that and naturally maintain it. This is the wisdom of equanimity, free from elaboration, introduced as being like the sky. In the Sutra of Thirty-Three it says: "Son of the gods, the three realms are merely mind, and that mind is formless, cannot be indicated, is unobstructed, is not consciousness, and is like an illusion. Even if you search for that mind with the nature of mind, you will not find it. The mind with which you search for mind, that mind also cannot be found. Because you do not fixate on that mind, all phenomena are not fixated on." As the All-Creating King says: "Because the mind cannot see the mind, if you look, you will not see it, just leave it as it is." As the Secret Essence says: "The nature of mind, without a root, is neither male nor female, nor hermaphrodite. It is without characteristics, without lineage, not a color, not a shape, not a place, and is nothing at all." As the All-Pervading Bliss says: "The nature of mind, without a root, cannot be found by searching, and cannot be identified. It is the original state of emptiness as it is, inexpressible, naturally arisen wisdom." As the great teacher Garab Dorje said: "The nature of mind is originally Buddha. Mind has no birth or death, it is like the sky." As the Heart Drop says: "Thus, when carefully examined, this nature of mind is unborn, does not abide, does not cease, has no color or shape, its essence cannot be identified, it is inexpressible. When awareness is like the sky, in that state, relax without birth." In such a state of abiding, whatever thoughts of movement and memory arise, in the self-nature of that state, look nakedly with effortless mindfulness, and by relaxing in a state without rejection or acceptance, thoughts will disappear without a trace.
