Having purified everything, one attains Buddhahood in the essence body, hence the three bodies are without aggregation or separation. The wisdom of self-nature expands, hence there is no aggregation or separation. Compassion and the activity of benefiting others increase, hence compassion is without interruption. As it was said before: "The essence is the empty-clear wisdom body, the self-nature is impartial compassion, in the indivisible great nature, one is primordially enlightened." This refers to attaining Buddhahood in this life or in the realm of the self-nature Nirmanakaya. The second is Nirvana with remainder: From the "Vast Expanse of Clarity" it says: "The individual who sees the truth, from the first Bhumi to the sixteenth, arises through gradual practice. This is how the qualities and fruits are obtained in accordance with temporary circumstances." As it says, one gradually progresses through the qualities of the paths and Bhumis, leaving behind the aggregates of material form, and becomes enlightened with signs of both inner and outer, such as light, sound, earthquakes, body, and relics. As it is said in the "Mirror of the Heart": "Manifestly and completely attaining Buddhahood is the arising of light, sound, body, relics, and earthquakes, etc." This refers to attaining Buddhahood in the Bardo. That is, abandoning the body of arising is called Nirvana without remainder, and going to the body of light is called Nirvana with remainder. Secondly, in whichever of the three ways of liberation one attains Buddhahood, the activity of compassionate deeds is: From the power of the two form bodies gathered by one's own continuum, for those who are in the state of Bodhisattvas and for common disciples, one manifests the Sambhogakaya of other appearances and the infinite emanations of the Nirmanakaya, accomplishing the benefit of others. As it is said in the "Uttaratantra": "Just as Brahma abides in the realm of Brahma, without moving from his place, he effortlessly appears in all the realms of the gods, similarly, the Thubpa does not move from the Dharmakaya, without moving in all realms, he effortlessly shows emanations to those who are fortunate." As it is said, according to the disposition of each disciple, one infinitely manifests the forms of emanations that tame each individual. That is, the intention of the inner clear body and wisdom without aggregation or separation, without moving from the sphere of the three times without change, one accomplishes the benefit of the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya in the realms of the ten directions, like the moon in the sky appearing in clear water vessels, until Samsara is empty.
