Since habits will not be cut off, one must distinguish between samsara and nirvana. Therefore, the nature of the body, speech, and mind of sentient beings is inherently pure, but obscured by sudden delusions and attachments. From beginningless time until now, they have been involuntarily wandering in the six realms. The postures of the body, natural speech, thoughts of the mind, experiences of suffering, etc., although experienced countless times, have all been meaningless. What is the use of still clinging to and being attached to unfinished karma? Therefore, now one must distinguish between samsara and nirvana, and from now on, one must cut off the root of rebirth in samsara. Just as transforming the appearances and forms of samsaric karma into the path, realizing the faults of bad karma, one will be liberated from attachment from now on. There are three ways to distinguish: distinguishing body, speech, and mind. The first is body distinction and expansion. The first is: go to a secluded place such as a mountainside or empty valley where there is no human traffic, offer a torma to the local deities, and then generate the intention: Now, for the benefit of sentient beings, I will distinguish between samsara and nirvana, and from now on, I will not return to samsara. Think of all the sufferings of the six realms, such as the heat and cold of hell, the hunger and thirst of pretas, the servitude of animals, the birth, old age, sickness, and death of humans, the struggles of asuras, and the fall of gods, and regard all these painful experiences as being experienced on oneself. Utter these sounds, etc., and make all kinds of gestures such as jumping, running, walking, and stopping, until all these gestures become pure, then observe the self-nature of after-awareness, and recite "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan) (phaṭ, Devanagari Sanskrit) (phaṭ, Romanized Sanskrit) (啪, Chinese literal meaning) to relax. Again, the body makes the gestures of the peaceful and wrathful deities of the Sugatas, the mouth recites the mantras of those deities, and clearly visualizes the forms of the deities, doing one's best to be without ego-grasping, and then recite "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan) (phaṭ, Devanagari Sanskrit) (phaṭ, Romanized Sanskrit) (啪, Chinese literal meaning) to maintain self-nature. The second is: one's own body sits in vajra posture, the parts of the body should be upright, the two hands are joined in prayer at the crown of the head, the two soles of the feet below are facing each other, and the body is visualized as sitting in vajra posture. It is said, this is also because the key points of the body are touched, and the mind can distinguish between purity and impurity. The two soles of the feet face each other, the ten fingers are inserted into the ground, the knees are stretched outwards, the spine is straight, the two hands are joined in prayer at the crown of the head, the elbows are stretched straight outwards, the throat
